Fans Counting Down the Days After Reba McEntire’s Happy Announcement

Fans of “The Voice” coach Reba McEntire have something to cheer about, as her latest project has officially been renewed for a second season.

However, there is a catch: the highly anticipated return won’t be happening as soon as many of her fans were hoping.

NBC has announced that “Happy’s Place” will be returning to the network for season 2. However, when Deadline shared the network’s full fall schedule, fans noticed something a little off.

Deadline said that “Happy’s Place” will continue to air on Friday nights. The show will also be a key component of a Friday night comedy block in primetime, like it did during season 1 when airing with “Lopez vs. Lopez.”

Unfortunately, season 2 of “Happy’s Place” will be making its debut later than expected. NBC announced it won’t be included in the first wave of the network’s fall shows. Instead, season 2 will premiere on November 7.

As far as the fall 2025 schedule goes for NBC, shows like “The Voice,” the “Law & Order” franchise, and the “Chicago” franchise will all premiere between September 22 and October 1.

When season 2 of “Happy’s Place” initially premieres on November 7, NBC will air back-to-back new episodes. However, the network will eventually fill the timeslot after “Happy’s Place” with one of NBC’s new series, either “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins” or “Stumble.” Both of those shows are expected to premiere in December 2025 or January 2026.

‘Happy’s Place’ Cast Starts the Countdown

After the announcement of the season 2 premiere date, NBC shared a teaser for the return on Instagram. The caption read, “Counting down the days ⏳ #HappysPlace returns on Nov 7.” The new episodes will air on both NBC and Peacock.

In the video, the “Happy’s Place” cast can be seen asking, “How many days until the premiere?” The video then switches over to McEntire, who responds, “102.” It pans back to the rest of the cast, who reply, “Oh, that’s not bad.”

Reba also made her way into the comments on NBC’s post, saying, “The countdown is on!”

While the cast seems super excited about the return of the show, fans were also showing their love in the comments. One person wrote, “You are so cute together 😍🔥 I’m rewatching Season One, excited for the new season 😍.”

While others said the wait was too long and they missed the cast, another person said, “Can’t wait!! I love the show and all of the cast.”

Happy's Place Complete Series Coverage, Review, Cast & More

Catch Reba back on “Happy’s Place” on November 7 at 8/7c on NBC. You can also catch her on “The Voice” season 28 this fall on NBC, premiering on September 22 at 8/7c.

Mayim Bialik reveals the fate of ‘Blossom’ reboot — Fans feel sad

Mayim Bialik reveals ‘Blossom’ reboot is dead: ‘Disney got this one wrong’

“Blossom” is staying in the ’90s.

Mayim Bialik broke the news that the planned reboot of her NBC sitcom was officially killed by Disney.

“It was not for lack of trying,” the actress, 49, wrote in a Substack post shared Monday.

Bialik, who played Blossom Ruby Russo on the show that aired from 1991 to 1995, explained that she and “Blossom” creator Don Reo began discussing rebooting the series after her time on “The Big Bang Theory” ended in 2019.

Reo wrote a “beautiful” script, Bialik recalled, but plans for the revival were put on hold when Bialik got busy starring in the Fox sitcom “Call Me Kat” and co-hosting “Jeopardy!”

“When both of those ended, Don and I could not let the possibility of revisiting ‘Blossom’ go,” Bialik wrote, revealing the pair again pitched the revival to Disney, who “seemed to love it” and “understood what we wanted to do.”

“We felt certain this was moving forward,” Bialik said.

But after some internal changes at Disney, Bialik and Reo were “told the project was no longer able to be produced” by a new team.

“We asked for the rights so that we could let the market decide if audiences might want to see these characters all these years later. We were told Disney reserves the rights in case they ever want to do a reboot of Blossom,” she explained. “The reboot we all wanted to do was now, with Don’s script.”

“We will likely never know … why they would not let us bring these beautiful stories to people who love 90s nostalgia and who have a special place in their hearts for Blossom,” Bialik said.

Bialik noted that “while it is possible no one wants a Blossom reboot,” she feels “pretty certain Disney got this one wrong.”

“The sun is gonna surely shine. Maybe not the way Don and I intended, but this door closed,” she confirmed. “While we didn’t want it to, we are powerless over every aspect of it except what we know to be true: we loved this possibility with all that we have and we are so so sorry we couldn’t get it to happen.”

The Emmy nominee also admitted that Blossom Russo is the “role I want to play more than any other,” and since the reboot plans were crushed, “my desire to continue to pursue on-camera roles has waned.”

The Post has reached out to Disney for comment.

Bialik shared back in 2023 that a “Blossom” reboot was happening.

“I’m happy to tell you that, yes, it’s true,” she told Vanity Fair. “All of the cast and the original creator and producers are on board, and we believe a reboot can and should exist once the strike ends.”

Bialik also said at the time that she didn’t want the show to be revived as a sitcom.

“We want to bring back these interesting, deep characters — a child of divorce, a recovering drug addict, an alcoholic — to see them in a whole new way,” the star explained.

“Blossom” followed an Italian-American teenager (played by Bialik) living in a male-dominated household after her mom leaves to pursue her career.

Joey Lawrence, Michael Stoyanov, Ted Wass and Jenna von Oÿ also starred.

  • Season 5 Trailer of Only Murders in the Building Promises Total Chaos

Season 5 Trailer of Only Murders in the Building Promises Total Chaos

‘Only Murders In The Building’s Season 5 Trailer Hints At Mob Connection In Doorman Death Investigation

Hulu‘s Only Murders In The Building is set to premiere its fifth season September 9, and the comedy’s first official trailer is setting up fans for hilarious chaos.

As a brief refresher, in the Season 4 finale, a new dead victim was revealed: doorman Lester Coluca (Teddy Coluca), a character that had been part of the story since day one. Poor Lester was found deceased in a water fountain just outside the Arconia by the unluckiest trio, Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), Arconia residents who have a knack for getting caught up in murder mysteries.

In the trailer and back in the present day, a police report says Lester’s death was accidental. However, Charles, Oliver and Mabel know better, so they question everything. They’ve helped investigate four murders thus far, of course, all of which were covered extensively on their hit podcast “Only Murders in the Building.”

One thing everyone can agree on is that Lester died under suspicious circumstances, and it was definitely not an accident. As their investigation begins, their leads take them into the shadowy corners of New York and beyond. The trio uncovers a dangerous web of secrets that connects powerful billionaires, old-school mobsters, and the mysterious residents of the Arconia, like Howard Morris (Michael Cyril Creighton).

The mobster storyline seems important, as it’s revealed that Lester had a run-in with them the night of his death. Detective Donna Williams (Da’Vine Joy Randolph) steps in and points the trio in the right direction when she discovers a finger someone has left behind. Will the appendage help them nail a killer?

Various previously announced guest stars make their big debut in the trailer including Bobby Cannavale, Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, Beanie Feldstein, Dianne Wiest, Logan Lerman, Jermaine Fowler and Keegan-Michael Key among others. It also features the return of Téa Leoni, who first appeared in the final moments of the Season 4 finale. She plays Sofia Caccimelio, wife of Nicky “The Neck” Caccimelio, a missing person with ties to the Caputo crime family. The trailer implies Charles and Sofia may have had an affair, which makes sense because who can resist Brazzos?

Only Murders in the Building' Season 5 Trailer

Additional actors returning from prior seasons include Nathan Lane as Teddy Dimas, last seen in Season 2; Richard Kind, who played Vince Fish in Season 4; and Meryl Streep as Oliver’s wife Loretta Durkin, from Seasons 3 and 4. It is as yet unknown if clever series co-creator John Hoffman has found a way to bring back Paul Rudd this season, following appearances in seasons 2 to 4.

Three episodes will be released on premiere night, with new episodes to follow weekly on Tuesdays via Hulu.

Martin Short and Meryl Streep’s friendship spans over a decade, often appearing together at events like Broadway openings and SNL anniversaries. Their on-screen chemistry drew attention after Streep joined Only Murders in the Building in Season 3 (2023).

By August 2024, they were photographed holding hands at the Season 4 premiere, sparking dating rumours. In February 2025, Streep was seen making a cheeky gesture beside Short at the SNL concert, and in May, they filmed scenes as newlyweds Oliver and Loretta, sharing romantic moments on set.

Hoffman said they ‘delighted in each other’s company’, and Streep became emotional after filming romantic scenes, sharing that she never expected to play such a role at this point in her career. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Short has expressed how starstruck he felt on various occasions, highlighting his humble adoration for fellow legends and humanising his on‑set persona.

Maggie Sajak just gave a huge update for the upcoming Wheel of Fortune season. Season 43 is now filming.

On August 25, Maggie Sajak shared a video on her Instagram page. “September 8th can’t come soon enough!✨” she captioned the post.

She followed the “You look happier” trend on TikTok. The trend has TikTok users using the song “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift. They post on the video “You look happier.” They respond with “Thanks. I’m ______,” and post a reason why they are happier or glowing more recently. For example, someone could look happier because they have a vacation coming up or they just got their dream job.

Sajak shared, “You look happier.” “Thanks. I’m back on set for Season 43.” She is the social correspondent for the game show, and has been since 2021. Sajak interviews contestants and celebrities after their game and shares behind-the-scenes tidbits with fans.

In the video, Sajak wore a bright red dress. It was long-sleeved with a flower on the hip and a long sash flowing down her side. She had her blonde hair in curls and added low white heels to the look.

She started outside and ushered the cameraperson into the studio. Sajak jokingly covered up a sign that read, “No Smoking. Photography Strictly Forbidden.”

Sajak then took fans backstage and onto the set. She twirled on the stage as crew members frantically ran around behind her.

“Very anxious for Season 43,” a fan said.

    “Welcome back!” wrote another.

“Welcome back! Have a fun season,” added another.

Along with Sajak, Ryan Seacrest will return for his second season. Vanna White is also returning, marking her 43rd season on the game show.

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Viewers Slam Show Over $1 Million Twist

For the first time, Wheel of Fortune had three friends play against each other instead of total strangers. Although the competition was already fired up, the game show created another twist — if the $1 million was won, they would have to split it, no matter who won the game. And this sparked a big reaction from fans of the show.

Rhode Island Fire Department workers Melissa “Missy” Porter, from Johnston, Darrin “Poppa” Gallagher, from Narragansett, and Tim Stebenne, from Lincoln, played against each other in the episode that aired on August 25 during Wheel‘s summer of reruns. It first broadcast on May 12.

The $1 million wedge twist went on all week as friends continued to battle each other. However, it would only come into play if no one landed on Bankrupt after obtaining the wedge.

Porter ended the game with $7,000. Stebenne went home with $12,700. Gallagher was the night’s big winner with $20,150 cash & Panama. He advanced to the Bonus Round without a $1 million wedge, but was able to win up to $100,000.

During the Bonus Round, Gallagher chose “What Are You Doing?” He was given “R,S,T,L,N, and E” and chose “K,G,D, and A” to round out the puzzle. It then looked like “TAK_NG  A  _ _ _ _ _.”

As the time counted down, Gallagher said, “Taking a something,” “Taking a….,” but he couldn’t get the last word. The puzzle turned out to be “TAKING A WHIFF.” He lost out on an additional $40,000.

Although the $1 million wedge was not on the wheel, fans commented on the twist. “Not a fan of this concept, and making the million-dollar wedge a group prize is stupid, especially since all 3 have to not land on bankrupt,” a Reddit user said.

“I thought it was weird the show wanted them to share the $1 million. Why even introduce that idea?” said another.

“If they’re going to make the million-dollar wedge a group prize that can be lost if any of the three hit a bankrupt for the rest of the game, then the payout should be a million dollars each if it’s won!” a third wrote.

“I hate the idea that the $1 Million is split 3 ways, and a player landing on bankrupt who doesn’t have possession of the wedge forces the wedge to be taken out of play,” a fan said. “I think if they’re going to do that for the MDW, then all winnings should be split 3 ways. It could also help to mitigate concerns about the players conspiring/throwing their turn or round.”

“Has anyone EVER won the million? Seems like they have to jump through an awful lot of hoops,” another wrote.

After the show, Gallagher spoke out in an interview with Maggie Sajak. “I was very surprised to win, but very fortunate that I did,” he said. Gallagher congratulated his coworkers for winning money as well. “We played a fantastic game.”

Gallagher said that he met Vanna White and shook her hand and would probably “never wash his hand again.” He also said that he didn’t want to become internet famous, but thinks his fellow firefighters are proud of them.
