    NEED TO KNOW

Kelly Clarkson addressed an almost fashion mishap on stage during her Studio Sessions residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas
On the second night, the singer confessed that she felt like her pasties were going to slide off any moment from her sweat
The talk show host also joked that she was “embarrassing” her kids, River, 11 and Remy, 9, who were in the audience

A wardrobe malfunction that doesn’t kill her makes her stronger.

Taking the stage for night two of her Las Vegas residency, Studio Sessions, Kelly Clarkson joked about her pasties sliding off mid-show.

In footage of the July 12 concert posted to TikTok, the “Since U Been Gone” singer, 43, warned (with humor) of the nipple covers under her T-shirt slipping off due to sweat.

“I’m like a Slip-n-Slide underneath,” she said. “This might start sticking to me, and I’m not gonna lie, I have these like pasty things on under here. Because there’s [an outfit] change coming and I can’t have a line.”

“You might all the sudden see boobs here,” she continued, motioning towards her waist. “I am so hot. Is this the change? Is this the night that it starts happening?”

As she began introducing her next song, the American Idol alum stopped to alert fans that a potential nip slip would happen. “Oh my god, it’s going to happen and then I’m going to do this for you,” she said while shimmying her chest “and just really turn you on. Is anyone single? Looking? I’m just kidding.” (Clarkson filed for divorce from music manager Brandon Blackstock in 2020, which was finalized two years later. The two were married for seven years before their split.)

The daytime talk show host also shouted out her two kids: daughter River, 11, and son Remington “Remy,” 9.

“Y’all, I do have to say that I love that I’m probably embarrassing my kids. They’re like, ‘Stop talking.’ I hope y’all have fun. I am completely going to embarrass you with things that I say — you’re welcome, it builds character.”

Clarkson kicked off her residency, hosted at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, on July 11 after postponing its Fourth of July start date due to “prep and rehearsals” taking a toll on her voice.

Following her announcement on Instagram, a source told PEOPLE that Clarkson “didn’t want to cancel any shows,” but had to in order to protect her vocal cords.

“She was devastated and felt terrible for fans that had traveled to see her,” the source said. “She’s been very excited about the Las Vegas residency and connecting with her fans.”

Clarkson is no stranger to a style mishap, but she approached those moments with candor. Back in April, the Grammy winner recalled a time when she almost lost her bottoms.

“I had something happen on tour once where my skirt, the clip broke and it dropped, and I dropped so fast,” she said in an episode of her show. “Look, long story short, I was commando. And I was like, it was a long skirt, and something happened to where it was like, ‘Oh, okay.’ “

The two artists, along with Kelly Clarkson and Chance the Rapper, appear as coaches in season 23 of The Voice premiering March 6 on NBC

    Niall Horan has gone country.

In a preview of the upcoming season 23 of The Voice shared exclusively with PEOPLE, the former One Direction singer swaps his Irish accent for a Southern twang to imitate how his fellow coach Blake Shelton has convinced contestants to join his team.

“This is my last season on The Voice, and I would be honored if you were to be on the last-ever team Blake,” Horan says while impersonating Shelton, who announced last October that he’ll be stepping away from the NBC singing competition for the first time in 12 years after the completion of this season.

Shelton, 46, later asks Horan, 29, if he’s going to “act like you know something about country music” during the blind auditions since another one of their fellow coaches, Kelly Clarkson, “always acts like she knows something about country music.”

“Yeah, I am,” Horan responds. “That’s my strategy to beat Kelly Clarkson. Every time you turn, I’m going with you.”

When Horan asks Shelton whether he thinks he has a chance of beating him in his final season, the country star responds simply, “No.”

“I would elaborate,” Shelton continues. “But, no.”

Clarkson, 40, meanwhile, can be seen in the clip telling fourth coach Chance the Rapper that the key to beating Shelton is to tell artists: “Oh, he’s got all the country people — you’re not gonna stick out on that team. You want to stand out on mine.”

Still, Clarkson thinks she’s going to end up on top.

“I think you have a solid chance [of winning],” she tells Chance, 29, laughing at the pun. “I still think I’m going to win, but I think you have a chance. I think you have a small percentage.”

The Voice season 23 premieres on NBC on March 6 at 8 p.m. EST.

Kelly Clarkson has “mixed feelings” about Blake Shelton’s swan song on The Voice.

“It’s Blake’s last season. I’m so glad I’m here for it,” the “Breakaway” singer, 40, told Entertainment Tonight. “One, I kinda want to be the one to kick him out the door, but also I want to hug him while he’s going.”

She added, “I have mixed feelings. I love him, but I get it. He’s been doing it for so long, and I get it that it’s time, you want to move on, or do something different.”

After 12 years and nine wins, Shelton, 46, announced in October that the current, 23rd season of the NBC singing competition would be his last as a coach.

“He’s part of the reason why The Voice is The Voice,” Clarkson shared. “In a funny way I’m glad I get to be like, ‘Later,’ but at the same time I think everyone’s going to miss him.”

The “Austin” singer has been a linchpin on the reality show — and a leading source of comic relief — since its inception, when its original coaches also included Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green.

“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after season 23,” Shelton wrote in an Instagram post last fall. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me.”

He continued, ”It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best.”

Since Levine’s exit on season 16, various stars have filled the red chairs, including Nick Jonas, Shakira, and Shelton’s wife Gwen Stefani, whom he first met on the show.

As far as Clarkson is concerned, she’s glad that her fellow judge’s farewell season — alongside new judges Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper — has been a fun one.

“They’re great, they’re so fun and easy to work with,” the talk show host said about the newbies. “This has literally been one of my favorite [seasons]. I love that for Blake too.”

She added, “I love that for Blake’s last season, he’s getting to go out in style with Chance and Niall. They’re so fun, easy to work with and we just have a good time. That’s a cool way to go out, you know?”

In a behind-the-scenes look at the first day on set, Bublé, 49, showed off his socks featuring McEntire’s face all over them while sitting in one of the reality music competition’s iconic red chairs.

“These are the finest socks ever,” the “Spicy Margarita” singer joked as he pulled his pant leg to reveal his fashion accessory. “Look at how beautiful [they are]. They’re smiling at me.”

“Hey, Mike, I’m gonna beat you,” he continued in a southern accent, mimicking the country singer’s signature sound.

Elsewhere in the video, fellow returning coaches Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg teased their excitement and anticipation about being back for another chance to discover and guide standout singing competitors through to the finish.

“My ears are anxious to hear and feel what they have to bring on The Voice season 28,” the “Bad Decisions” rapper, 53, said, while the One Direction alum, 31, added that he “can’t believe I get to do this again.”

While perched in her red chair alongside the other coaches, McEntire quipped, “I get to tell them what to do, like a big sister.”

Bublé, who first appeared on the series as a part-time advisor in season 3, is coming off a win on season 27 after previously making his coaching debut on season 26.

The singer helped Adam David, the 35-year-old singer-songwriter from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., get to the finale where he was named the champion in May. They beat out teams led by Adam Levine, John Legend and Kelsea Ballerini.

McEntire, 70, first joined as coach in season 24 after multiple part-time advisor stints. She also coached seasons 25 and 26 before sitting out the last installment. Horan previously coached seasons 23 and 24 while Dogg took his seat on the panel in season 26.

The Voice season 28 premieres Monday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and will continue to air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

From Heartbreak to Revelation: A “Price Is Right” Contestant Unveils the Raw Truth After 16 Attempts Fell Short of Victory!

‘The Price Is Right’ Contestant Speaks Out After 16 Failed Attempts to Get on Show

The Price Is Right contestant Alex Braun on May 21, 2025
    The Price Is Right/YouTube

Alex Braun finally heard the words that every The Price Is Right fan longs to hear — “Come on down!” And this was significant for Braun because he had auditioned for the game show 16 times in the past. The contestant has been on other game shows, but his big goal was to make it onto TPIR. Now he is speaking out about his experience in a fascinating interview.

The self-proclaimed “game show geek” finally got to meet Drew Carey and live out his dream on February 3. He had to travel through single-digit temperatures and nine inches of snow from St. Louis, Missouri, to get to California for the 10,000th episode. He brought four friends with him, and his name finally got called on the taping before the milestone episode was filmed. His episode aired on May 21.

“When you’ve been there 16 times, you kind of know how the show runs. You’re kind of playing in your head what would happen, a lot of ‘what-ifs,’ if your name gets called. It’s hard to plan reactions, but I thought about it that day, about running across the studio to say ‘hi’ to my four friends. All went out the door when I saw my name on the poster board; my mind went blank,” he told Call Newspapers.

Braun beat his competitors on Bidder’s Row when he bid $1 on a handcrafted fire pit, worth $1,214. “I was the last bidder, so I had a big advantage. I kept looking at my friends in the audience for bids, and bid $1,200 unbeknownst to me (that) Karen on the end had just bid $1,200,” he said. “I immediately bid $1201, the actual price was $1,214 – I couldn’t believe it.”

“I was excited to be called on down, but the fact that I won my way on stage – that was the next level. I was just tackling Drew, I was just so excited.”

He then played Side by Side for a trip to Alaska. He had to choose between two prices, $7,697 or $9,776, one of which was the correct price of the trip. Braun had a gut feeling to choose $7,697 after a strong reaction from the audience.

“I’m just looking forward to a trip,” Braun told the outlet, which he plans to take in spring 2026.  “Seriously, just being out of the 48 states is exciting. Part of the package is a sightseeing tour in a rental car, so that’ll be cool.”

Braun thought the hardest part of the whole game show was keeping quiet for three months about what he won and if he won. “I was antsy to see the final cut,” he shared. Braun hosted a viewing party with friends when his episode aired. “Watching myself on ‘Bidders’ Row’ when I’m seeing Drew reading off the price of the fire pit and I’m listening to every syllable, and it just started to slowly hit me that I won – I was just so excited.”

The contestant shared that his Nan got him hooked on game shows as a kid, and he made it a goal of his to be a contestant on TPIR. He can add that to his game show resume as The Price Is Right is his fourth game show appearance. Braun has also been on Wheel of FortuneYou Bet Your Life with Jay Leno, and 25 Words or Less. He wants to compete on more shows in the future, but he has to wait one year before appearing on any television game show. Braun has his sights set on winning a car, since he has won cash and trips. His next goal is The $100,000 Pyramid.

“God did not give me great athletic abilities, but I love to have fun and play games. These ones don’t require being physical,” he told the outlet.

“You can’t go there with the mindset of ‘I want to make my car payment, I could win this much money, I could buy a new deck.’ That kind of takes away from the experience,” Braun said. “You just have to go out there and have fun.”

Shifting Gears ended its first season on Wednesday, March 19, with a shocking kiss and many questions for fans. The ABC freshman comedy stars Tim Allen as Matt, a widowed father whose daughter, Riley (Kat Dennings), and his grandchildren, Carter (Maxwell Simkins) and Georgia (Barrett Margolis) move in with him after things get rocky with Riley’s estranged husband, Jimmy (Lucas Neff).

During the Season 1 finale, Riley decides to finally divorce Jimmy when he comes home for Georgia’s middle school graduation after announcing plans to tour with the Foo Fighters. Matt fights with his nemesis Eve (Jenna Elfman), who works next door to him and hits his car with his door. By the end of the episode, the enemies become lovers and share a shocking kiss. To celebrate Riley’s new singledom, her boss Eve throws her a party. Riley drinks a little too much, so Gabriel (Seann William Scott), her childhood best friend and dad’s coworker, takes her home. She wonders aloud why a woman hasn’t married him yet and he tries to confess his feelings for her, but she falls asleep as he confesses.

This left the show on a cliffhanger with many loose ends not tied up. So, will fans get answers in Season 2? Here is everything we know about the sitcom and if it is being renewed.
tim allen and jenna elfman in shifting gears season 1 finale

    Disney/Raymond Liu

Is Shifting Gears renewed for Season 2?

Shifting Gears will return for Season 2. The renewal comes after the sitcom had a noticeable drop in ratings since its premiere in January. Shifting Gears reached 7.8 million viewers in the Nielsen Live+7 ratings during its premiere episode, while the finale in March dropped to 5.17 million in the same time period. The show’s performance on Hulu has not been updated since January. The show ranked number five among ABC’s scripted series this season.

    When will Season 2 premiere?

Shifting Gears Season 2 will premiere on Wednesday, October 1, at 8pm on ABC. The sitcom is expected to air on Wednesdays for the rest of the season. Season 1 premiered in January with only 10 episodes, but this seems like a full season pickup.

What could happen in Shifting Gears Season 2?

After Eve and Matt shared a kiss, the former enemies could explore a relationship. But Matt could also still be healing from losing his wife. Riley and Gabriel might finally tell each other how they feel — though this could lead to a not-so-positive reaction from Matt.

Dennings TV Insider what she hopes for her character in the upcoming season. “I hope we see Riley do some exploration of who she is now because she doesn’t really know who she is now without the ex-husband relationship and back living at home as a mom with two kids, and have her discover her personality without the things that she is used to. I think that would be cool,” she said.

Who will star in Shifting Gears Season 2?

Allen, Dennings, Scott, Simkins, Margolis, Elfman, as well as Daryl Mitchell, all starred in Season 1, and would most likely return.

    Who helms Shifting Gears?

Allen, along with Michelle Nader, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Richard Baker, Rick Messina, John Pasquin, Jim Patterson, Bob Daily, and John Amodeoserve, serve as executive producers on the sitcom.  Mike Scully and Julie Thacker Scully executive produced the first episode. Pasquin directed the pilot episode. Dennings is also a producer.

Where can you watch Shifting Gears Season 1?

All 10 episodes of Shifting Gears Season 1 are available to watch on Hulu. Season 2 will air on ABC and the next day on the streaming platform.

Fans of “The Voice” coach Reba McEntire have something to cheer about, as her latest project has officially been renewed for a second season.

However, there is a catch: the highly anticipated return won’t be happening as soon as many of her fans were hoping.

‘Happy’s Place’ Returning for Season 2

NBC has announced that “Happy’s Place” will be returning to the network for season 2. However, when Deadline shared the network’s full fall schedule, fans noticed something a little off.

Deadline said that “Happy’s Place” will continue to air on Friday nights. The show will also be a key component of a Friday night comedy block in primetime, like it did during season 1 when airing with “Lopez vs. Lopez.”

Unfortunately, season 2 of “Happy’s Place” will be making its debut later than expected. NBC announced it won’t be included in the first wave of the network’s fall shows. Instead, season 2 will premiere on November 7.

As far as the fall 2025 schedule goes for NBC, shows like “The Voice,” the “Law & Order” franchise, and the “Chicago” franchise will all premiere between September 22 and October 1.

When season 2 of “Happy’s Place” initially premieres on November 7, NBC will air back-to-back new episodes. However, the network will eventually fill the timeslot after “Happy’s Place” with one of NBC’s new series, either “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins” or “Stumble.” Both of those shows are expected to premiere in December 2025 or January 2026.

‘Happy’s Place’ Cast Starts the Countdown

After the announcement of the season 2 premiere date, NBC shared a teaser for the return on Instagram. The caption read, Counting down the days ⏳ #HappysPlace returns on Nov 7.” The new episodes will air on both NBC and Peacock.

Reba also made her way into the comments on NBC’s post, saying, “The countdown is on!”

While the cast seems super excited about the return of the show, fans were also showing their love in the comments. One person wrote, “You are so cute together 😍🔥 I’m rewatching Season One, excited for the new season 😍.”

While others said the wait was too long and they missed the cast, another person said, “Can’t wait!! I love the show and all of the cast.”
