Unearthing New Secrets! “Ghosts” Season 5 Cast Spills Exclusive Details on What Haunts the Next Chapter – Get Ready for Unexpected Revelations!

Will There Be a Season 5 of Ghosts? See What the Cast Has Revealed About New Episodes

The season 4 finale of the spooky sitcom ended with a “huge surprise” for the ghost gang

Things are staying spooky at Woodstone Manor.

Since its debut in 2021, Ghosts has been haunting screens with its scarily good blend of humor, horror and heart.

Season 4 continued to expand the paranormal world of Ghosts, with the funny phantoms developing new powers, the introduction of even more specters roaming the Woodstone grounds — and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar), finally able to see the ghosts his wife, Sam (Rose McIver) is always speaking with.

“For me as an actor, it will be so nice to be able to make eye contact with my co-workers for the first time. I mean it’s pretty cool,” Ambudkar said at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con, when his character’s new ghostly vision was revealed.

The season 4 finale on May 8 featured Sam and Jay throwing a book launch party for Sam and Isaac’s (Brandon Scott Jones) historical vampire novel. But as usual, the ghosts created chaos, and the episode ended with a cliffhanger.

With so many characters and plots (burial and story-wise), the CBS series is lively for a show about the dead. Here’s everything we know so far about season 5 of Ghosts.

Will there be a season 5 of Ghosts?

Yes, Ghosts has been renewed for seasons 5 and 6. This will take the series through at least the 2026-2027 season.

After the news was announced on Feb. 20, Ghosts star Danielle Pinnock (who plays Alberta) celebrated on X.

“I am bawling so hard right now. Being able to have TWO YEARS of guaranteed work in this climate as an actor is a rarity and a blessing,” she wrote. “Grateful to be on @GhostsCBS and to be working with the best cast, crew, writers, showrunners, and producers on Broadcast TV.”

On Instagram, McIver added, “Cant believe how lucky I am to keep making this show. Enormous thanks to @cbstv and all our cast and crew and the writing team headed by @joeport and @emailwiseman and huge thanks to everyone who watches. We are so grateful.”

Ambudkar shared the same headline on his account, and simply captioned it, “44 more episodes of @ghostscbs!”

Cast member Asher Grodman (who portrays Trevor Lefkowitz) also rejoiced, writing on the social media platform, “TWO more seasons of GHOSTS coming your way and two more years of working with my friends! Thank you to all the incredible people who make this show possible and who make it a joy to shoot everyday.”

Roman Zaragoza (who plays Sasappis) echoed the same sentiment. “I’m beyond grateful for this show and this amazing team. @ghostscbs fully changed my life and I feel beyond blessed to be on this journey with my 👻 fam,” he penned on Instagram.

When will Ghosts season 5 premiere?

A premiere date for Ghosts season 5 has not been announced.

Season 4 debuted on Oct. 17, 2024, and if the next installment follows a similar release, new episodes could arrive in time for things to get spooky before Halloween.

Which cast members are returning for Ghosts season 5?

It hasn’t been confirmed which Ghosts ghosts will be coming back for season 5.

The core cast is made up of McIver, Ambudkar, Jones, Pinnock, Grodman, Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Richie Moriarty, Devan Chandler Long and Rebecca Wisocky.

Other recurring cast members include John Hartman as Nigel Chessum, Betsy Sodaro as Nancy, Caroline Aaron as Carol and Matt Walsh as Elias Woodstone.

In season 4, Patience, the judgmental Puritan ghost, played by Mary Holland, was introduced, as well as Taylor Ortega as Joan, a screenwriter spirit from the 1940s.

While speaking with Collider in April 2025, Zaragoza said he hoped the show would reveal how his character, Sass, died in a future season.

“I think that’s a big piece that we’re still missing, and I would love for it to be something so ridiculous that he’s been hiding it for so long,” he added. “Like, he’s been telling a story, and it turns out that story is completely false, and it’s actually something else incredibly embarrassing.”

‘Ghosts’ Gets Massive Update as CBS Decides Fate of Hit Sitcom

    ghosts-414

Ghosts has officially been renewed for two seasons at CBS ahead of tonight’s new episode. Variety first broke the news along with renewals for nine other shows on the network including the entire Thursday night lineup, featuring Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Ghosts, Matlock, and ElsbethGhosts is, however, the only series among the bunch to secure not one but two future seasons, taking the show through Season 6, already set for the 2026-2027 season. One of the network’s most-viewed shows, Ghosts averages 11 million viewers across platforms when accounting for 35 days of viewing, according to a combination of Nielsen measurement and Paramount Global’s first-party data regarding streams on Paramount+.

Casting announcements weren’t made alongside the renewal, but as long as no one gets sucked off by the end of Season 4, we can likely expect the return of the entire main ensemble featuring Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Rebecca Wisocky, Asher Grodman, Danielle Pinnock, Brandon Scott Jones, Shiela Carrasco, Román Zaragoza, Devan Chandler Long, and Richie MoriartyGhosts has been on a roll this season with no plans to slow down as next week’s episode promises the reveal of Isaac’s (Jones) centuries-old beef with Alexander Hamilton (Nat Faxon) and the return of Hetty’s (Wisocky) evil ex-husband Elias (Matt Walsh).

Before that though we’ll see series lead McIver make her directorial debut this week with “Ghostfellas,” which sees Jay get in hot water with a local restaurateur after adding one of Pete’s (Moriarty) family recipes to the menu. We’ll also see Hetty and Trevor (Grodman) planning their first “power friends” scheme, though their housemates aren’t sure there isn’t something more going on between the diabolical duo.

What Else To Expect From ‘Ghosts’ Season 4

Román Zaragoza and Rebecca Wisocky in Ghosts Season 4, Episode 11.

While many details are still under wraps for the remainder of the season we do know that we’ll be seeing Hetty’s ghost power at some point, as well as the return of everyone’s favorite attic ghost Stephanie (Odessa A’Zion). McIver recently spoke with Collider ahead of her directorial debut and was able to tease the return of some of our favorite recurring specters.

“Matt Walsh never brings an easy— I mean. Matt Walsh brings the easiest [energy], right? He’s so wonderful to work with. But, Elias does not bode well for the house in general, as we’ve come to realize. So him returning is not— he’s not the ideal guest at the B&B. And, then yeah, we have Odessa back, who brings such a fresh teenage energy. She’s so funny. We love having her. And we actually have her sister Gideon not playing a related role, but playing a completely separate role in another episode. So, that’s pretty cool.”

Ghosts has been renewed through Season 6. New episodes of Season 4 air on Thursdays on CBS at 8:30 PM ET. Stay tuned at Collider for more updates.

BLAKE Shelton joked that Kelly Clarkson got Adam Levine FIRED from The Voice two years after Maroon 5 singer’s abrupt exit.

The father of two joined the judging panel on The Voice when the show premiered on NBC in 2011 before quitting six years later.

During last night’s episode of The Voice, contestant Keegan Ferrell auditioned with the song She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5.
In the end, Blake and Kelly turned around and battled it out to get Keegan on his team.
However, Blake used his friendship with Adam to try and get Keegan on his team.
The country star said: “First of all, I happen to be buddies with the guy who wrote and sang that song, and I want you to look, for just a second, at this coaching panel.

“Take note at who’s missing, and who’s in that chair. Now I’m not saying that Kelly Clarkson got Adam fired, but … he’s gone, and she’s sitting there, OK?
Despite Kelly protesting and saying she had nothing to do with Adam leaving, Blake continued: “This network stands for Nothing But Clarkson. If Maroon 5 inspires you, I don’t know that I would pick a coach who is their arch-nemesis.”
The other judges – John Legend and Nick Jonas – also ganged up against the mom of two.
“See what I heard was that Blake and John approved of me coming into the show but Kelly had the last word,” Nick said.

“They’re all liars!” Kelly yelled before adding that she toured with Maroon 5 which proved her friendship with the family man.

Back in December, Adam shut down any hopes that he would be returning to the singing competition show as he trolled his best friend, Blake, with a series of Instagram posts.
Adam participated in a Q&A session with fans and when asked if he was interested in returning as a judge on The Voice, Adam said: “No thank you.”
Another fan asked if he missed Blake, 44, who he had a memorable bromance with on the competition reality show.

The Maroon 5 lead singer responded: “Blake who?”

The Voice-themed questions continued when another person asked which of Blake’s albums is his “favorites.”
Adam teasingly replied: “Who is this Blake you speak of?”
The singer joined the judging panel on The Voice when the show premiered on NBC in 2011.
He remained on the show for 16 seasons before he announced his decision to leave The Voice in May 2019.

Adam shared on Instagram at the time: “[The Voice] went on to be a life-shaping experience that will be close to my heart forever.

“Thank you NBC for signing me up. I am truly honored to have been a part of something I’ll always cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you to every single coach I ever sat in those chairs with. That is [a] shared experience that is singularly ours.”
He continued: “We have that for life. Thank you to everyone who supported this long strange and amazing left turn into a place I never thought I’d go.”
The Sugar singer, who won three seasons of the show, thanked the “loyal” fans of the show as he wrote: “There’s literally no show without you guys. For me, it was time to move on. Your support has meant EVERYTHING… What an amazing ride. Thank you all so much.”
No longer appearing on the show has given Adam more time to focus on his marriage and raising his kids.

Adam married Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, 32, in July 2014.
The couple share two daughters: four-year-old Dusty Rose and two-year-old Gio Grace.

The country star has one big condition to return to the NBC series.

Blake Shelton doesn’t see himself returning to The Voice.

ET’s Cassie DiLaura spoke to the singer at the grand opening of Ole Red Las Vegas on Wednesday, and Shelton, 47, revealed why he likely won’t come back to the competition series, which he starred on for 23 seasons over 12 years.

“I miss the people. I mean, those people became like family to me, literally from the crew all up to the producers of the show. I was with them more than I was with my family… I miss that,” Shelton said, before noting that he doesn’t “miss the job at all.”

“I totally needed a break from that, because if I wasn’t into it then it wasn’t good for whoever was on my team. I don’t want to be someone who’s just going through the motions. Those artists need somebody fighting for them,” Shelton, who had nine wins over his tenure, said. “The second I started feeling like, ‘Oh my gosh, I don’t even remember what season this is anymore. Who are the coaches on this season?’ [I knew that] I needed [to get] away from here.”

Since he departed the series last year, Shelton said that “every day feels a little bit better,” adding, “I feel better about that decision.” Only one thing would bring him back, though — if NBC managed to wrangle a return from the other three original coaches: Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green.

“If they were ever able to put together the original four coaches again, maybe [I’d return] for one season, a one-off,” he said. “That would be fun for me… That would be something I would be interested in doing.”

Though he might not step into the coach’s chair again, Shelton is grateful for his time on the show, largely because it’s where he met his wife, Gwen Stefani, who came on board in season 7.

“The first season she was on The Voice we met [but] we really didn’t talk that much,” he recalled. “… If you would’ve told me the first season that we met that what was gonna happen, I would’ve been like, ‘No, we actually don’t even have anything to even talk about. What are you talking about?’ It’s crazy how things work out.”

Since then, the couple has built a life together personally and professionally, much to Shelton’s delight.

“When you find that life partner, that missing piece you didn’t know what was missing… it’s like, ‘Golly, you can go ahead and kill me if this ever goes away or ends or something happens. There’s no going back now,’” he said.

In fact, Stefani was on hand for the grand opening of Ole Red’s latest outpost, taking the stage alongside Shelton in Las Vegas.

“Any time I play anymore, people have in the back of their mind, ‘I wonder if she’s here. If she is here, is she gonna sing?’ I know they’re thinking about it,” he said. “Last night, I barely even mentioned we have a special guest, and, of course, people knew. This place is a big deal for Gwen, too. She had family here last night for the grand opening that she hadn’t seen in a little while, so it’s all in the family.”

As for the venue itself, Shelton said it “felt like home.”

“You don’t expect there to be this country music honky tonk right here on the strip, but it’s here and it feels like it’s here to stay,” he said. “… It really does feel like you’ve stepped in through a portal and you’re in Nashville when you come through the doors, which is so perfect for Las Vegas because country music has always had a place here… I think it’s gonna be great for the country music industry to have this home base here in Vegas.”

The former The Voice judge turned 49 on June 18

Blake Shelton should be on cloud nine after celebrating his 49th birthday on Wednesday, but one person has put a damper on his mood.

The “Texas” singer took to social media to express his sadness over his fellow country star Luke Bryan after he appeared to forget his special day.

    Forgetful friends

Calling out Luke for failing to wish him a happy birthday, Blake wrote on his Story: “Thank you for all my happy birthday wishes! I love yall!

“I’m kinda bummed though @lukebryan is the only of my friends that hasn’t reached out to me today. He’ll probably only do it now after he sees this.”

Blake called out Luke for not wishing him a happy birthday

Seemingly hoping the public shaming would spur Luke on, Blake returned to Instagram over three hours later to express more disappointment.

“Thanks again everybody. I still haven’t heard from Luke.. He’s probably just busy today. @lukebryan,” he wrote.

Blake was disappointed his public shaming didn’t work

Luke finally took notice but didn’t give Blake the birthday message he was hoping for.

Taking to his Instagram Story Wednesday night, Luke quipped: “Happy birthday to everyone in the world today except @blakeshelton. Clearly you need to lay off the beers. ha.”

Luke’s response probably wasn’t what Blake was hoping for

Blake’s messages were likely posted in jest as he and Luke have been friends for years and often enjoy roasting each other in interviews and on social media.

One person who made sure to publicly shout-out the birthday boy was Blake’s wife, Gwen Stefani.

She shared a compilation of behind-the-scenes private moments with her husband, alongside the sweet message: “Happy birthday to my greatest love @blakeshelton u are my everything!!”

Gwen and Blake met on The Voice in 2014 and tied the knot in Oklahoma in July 2021.

Their intimate wedding, which was officiated by Carson Daly, featured a “very small” guest list following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Gwen explained to Ellen DeGeneres: “It got really small. I had this fantasy of building like bleachers, but it got smaller and smaller, and as you know, the Lord works in mysterious ways.

“It was the perfect amount of people. It was so intimate. It was so exactly what it needed to be,” she continued.

Blake later revealed that the couple wrote their own vows – and his included singing his single, “We Can Reach The Stars”.

The couple chose a four-tiered wedding cake covered with white icing, which Gwen jokingly pointed out looked exactly the same as the one in her music video for “Simple Kind of Life” back in 2000.

Gwen silenced rumors of marriage trouble with Blake

Last year, the couple was plagued by rumors that their marriage was in trouble, but in a rare move, Gwen addressed claims during an interview with Nylon.

“When you’re in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us,” she said.

“You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship – I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something. It’s just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is.”

Kelly Clarkson has sold a stake in her catalog to HarborView equity partners, the company announced on Thursday, the latest high profile deal in the music acquisition world.

HarbourView said Thursday that the deal includes a portion of Clarkson’s biggest hits including “Since U Been Gone,” “Because of You,” “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” “Behind These Hazel Eyes,” and “Underneath the Tree.” The company didn’t specify in its announcement what type of rights it acquired, how much of a stake the company now owns or how much HarbourView paid. A rep for HarbourView didn’t immediately reply to request for comment.

Getting her start as the first-ever winner on American Idol, she’s also prominent in TV, hosting her daytime Kelly Clarkson Show and also serving as a judge on The Voice, which was just confirmed for its 29th season yesterday.

The Clarkson deal is just the latest for HarbourView this year. As The Hollywood Reporter first reported back in May, the company had also purchased recorded royalty rights from prolific producer-songwriter Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. Other deals HarbourView has closed have included the works of T-Pain, Pat Benatar, Kane Brown, Luis Fonsi, James Fauntleroy, Wiz Khalifa and Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac among others.

‘The Price Is Right’ Fans Accuse Drew Carey Of Rigging The Game

Drew Carey - YouTube/The Price Is Right

Fans of The Price Is Right are slamming the show’s host and production team for “rigging” the games. Following a perfect spin, many viewers are wondering if there’s someone in the famous wheel controlling everything or if there is some other way production is rigging the whole thing. Continue reading to see why people are accusing The Price Is Right team.

The Price Is Right Contestant Wins Big On The Wheel

Normally, viewers are ecstatic when they see a contestant win. However, a recent player’s surprising win has fans asking questions about the show’s production.

In the game Showcase Showdown, contestants get to spin the big wheel. The objective is to get the highest cumulative amount closest to 100 on the wheel without going over. Each contestant gets two spins to achieve the goal of 100 (or less).

A recent contestant who appeared on The Price Is Right was able to do just that, but the perfect spin had some fans raising their eyebrows.

Drew Carey - YouTube/The Price Is Right

    YouTube/The Price Is Right

“Boom!” Drew Carey yelled after the contestant, Zamone, spun the wheel and got two 50s. She raked in $1,000 and Drew was astounded, but her good luck didn’t stop there.

Zamone then got to approach the wheel for her bonus spin. The Price Is Right host explained that if she landed on 5 or 15, she’d win another $10,000. If she spun the wheel and it landed on 100, she’d get an additional $25,000.

Her spin got heartbreakingly close to 100, but it wound up stopping on 15, which was still good news for Zamone. “$10,000! $10,000!” Drew screamed as he high-fived the contestant.

Fans Question If The Game Is Rigged After Zamone’s Win

Many viewers at home were thrilled to see someone win big on the wheel, but others weren’t so sure that it was luck that got her the win.

One fan commented on Instagram, writing, “Either this entire show is rigged or just the wheel is rigged. They pointed to the frequency of “1.00 spinners on the show” as their proof for making such a claim. Another person exclaimed, “She had the PERFECT spin.” Several other commenters suggested that the wheel is being “controlled” by someone in the background.

This isn’t the first time viewers have accused the game of being rigged either. In the past, people have pointed out inconsistencies in the outcomes.

Others were excited to see someone win. “That was truly something,” one person wrote. A few viewers thought that the spin was “So fun to watch.” The Price Is Right host shared those sentiments, visibly excited by Zamone’s big win.

“Everybody wants to see people win,” he has said in the past. “People eventually started cheering for each other. It’s not my money — it’s CBS’s money, and we’re all trying to take it together.”

After three contestants: Connor, Lacie, and Jacob, had their chance to play their own games, only one was going to make it through the Showcase Showdown.

The Showdown sees contestants spin the “Big Wheel” to determine how close they can get to $1, without going over

Lacie went first and got a 55 on her first spin.

She had the option to keep her 55 or spinning again, but she chose to stay put.

During Connor’s turn, he spun the wheel a little too hard and lost his balance, nearly falling to the floor.

However, he quickly caught himself and sprung back on his feet.

Game show host Drew Carey decided to ignore the young contestant’s fall.

Instead, Drew asked him if he wanted to give any shout-outs to family and friends.

Connor first spun a 15. When he spun again, he got a 65, which got him to 90.

The Price is Right first came on TV in 1972. Fans fell in love with the game show so much that it has been on for over 50 years. Throughout that time, the show has had a few different hosts. Find out who they are below.

Bob Barker – 1972 to June 2007 (also became executive producer in 1988)

Drew Carey – October 2007 to present

Dennis James – filled in for Bob in 1974 when he missed four episodes, also hosted the nighttime version

Craig Ferguson – 2014 April Fools Day Special

One viewer said, There’s a prime-time episode of Price is Right on TV rn featuring only kid contestants, which is a weird concept.

“Like how do they know how much toothpaste costs?”

Meanwhile, others are loving the show.

“Connor, a 12-year-old on the price is right at night just won 100k in prizes in 10 minutes. Beast mode,” a second exclaimed.

A third said, “I’m loving the Price is Right at Night for kids. I wish this was a thing when we were younger.”

“It’s hilarious, this young man who’s probably a preteen, just won $23,000 on Plinko. They should have kids on more often,” a fourth admitted.

A fifth said, “These prizes are great! I love seeing kids win!”

Taking over from an enormously popular legend is no easy task. That is probably what Ryan Seacrest is finding out as he navigates his first few months as the new Wheel Of Fortune host after the retirement of Pat Sajak earlier this year.

Sajak was beloved by millions of Wheel fans. so it’s understandable that they are very carefully watching every move that Seacrest makes and maybe being a bit critical. That seems to have been what happened recently when Seacrest made what some thought was an on-air gaffe, per dailymail.com.

What happened on that episode of the show? We’ll take a look and tell you!

Cody Hunger Emerged As The Victor In The BetMGM Big Winners Tournament

Hunger had to solve a short puzzle with just four words. There were some letters on the board and he chose the ones in his first name as well – C, O, D, and Y. He gave the correct answer right off the bat – “Out of the way.”

After a pause, Seacrest finally said, “Cody? That’s it.”

He added, “You got it! Congratulations. You got it, congratulations!”

The celebratory confetti came down like snowflakes and everybody was happy for Hunger.

He Got Quite A Bit Of Flak For His Peculiar Pause

There was a thread on Reddit titled, “How about that pause.” People vented about Seacrest’s perceived flub, although some generously cut him some slack. One person wrote, “I came here just to see the reactions. lol I love Ryan but that’s his first blooper hahaha.”

Another posted, “Yeah this was filmed months ago. If it were actually a mistake it would have been edited out. They did the pause on purpose to build suspense.” Somebody else chimed in with, “Ryan obviously did that for dramatic effect. He paused and said his name first. And then said he got it. Not a blooper or mistake from what I saw.”

This remark was not too forgiving: “my dude forgot how to host.”

    Ryan, we’ll be watching!

Sometimes, recent events cause interruptions, preemptions, and schedule changes with television programs.

That was the case for The Price Is Right, as it was abruptly interrupted last week.

In March, viewers saw various CBS programs preempted and postponed due to coverage of NCAA’s March Madness and college basketball.

However, a more recent interruption was caused by weather, as an earthquake shook parts of New York, New Jersey, and elsewhere.

Viewers expressed their frustration with being unable to watch the recent episode of the popular game show.

It might also raise questions about the upcoming episode of The Price Is Right, as another significant event will occur, potentially bringing news coverage.

The Price Is Right viewers react to preempted episode

Some viewers weren’t happy about news coverage interrupting their favorite game show’s Friday, April 5 episode, as they couldn’t watch Drew Carey present various price-guessing games to contestants for prizes.

According to Yahoo! News, a 4.8-magnitude earthquake was felt in the Northeastern United States this past Friday. New Jersey and New York were among the areas that felt the quake most, but parts of Washington, D.C., and Boston, Massachusetts, also felt it.

Due to the surprising and sudden quake, news coverage arrived on various channels to inform and update others about the situation.

That meant The Price Is Right was interrupted or preempted for viewers in those markets.

Fans of the show took to a Reddit forum to express their frustrations over that.

“I’m in NW NJ felt it too- pissed TPIR was skipped as well,” a viewer commented.

Another said they didn’t understand why the game show needed to be interrupted by “a gazillion other channels airing EQ ‘news’” and suggested, “Just put a crawl at the bottom.”

“I do not live near there, but I do hate the interruptions that come through when I’m trying to watch the price is right,” another commenter said.

Another commenter wondered why they couldn’t “wait until the top of the hour” for the news coverage.

However, many consider the earthquake significant enough to provide coverage, as there might often be aftershocks, damage, and interrupted services to update viewers about.

Will The Price Is Right air on Monday, April 8?

Friday’s preemption is likely not the last time fans of The Price Is Right or other daytime shows might see their favorite programs preempted.

On Monday, a significant event will occur with the solar eclipse that many will attempt to observe at different hours throughout the United States.

Some news channels may provide coverage of the event as the eclipse occurs.

According to CBS News, 15 states are in the path of totality to see the eclipse. Based on the report, the total eclipse will begin around 11:07 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time over New Mexico before it moves over other parts of the United States from Texas to Maine.

While those particular areas may witness the total eclipse, many other regions will see a partial eclipse due to their location relative to the path.

CBS News indicates that this significant event could be observable by an estimated 136 million individuals in the United States.

A TV Guide listing shows that a new episode of The Price Is Right should air on Monday, April 8, at its regular time slot.

Time will tell if any local news networks will bump the popular game show to provide additional eclipse coverage. Various networks around the country can always make different decisions, so viewers should be aware of possible interruptions for their favorite shows on Monday.

The Price Is Right airs weekdays at 11/10c on CBS.
