The pair join Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg on the coaching panel.

Bublé hopes he can snag his third win in a row this season. He won his first season with Sofronio Vasquez and his second with Adam David, Parade reported. McEntire has one win to her name with Asher HaVon, while Horan took home two wins with Gina Miles (Season 23) and Huntley (Season 24). Only Snoop hasn’t scored big on the show.

But despite not winning yet, the rapper loves being part of THE VOICE.

“Well, if you know anything about me, you know I love all forms of music,” Snoop said on THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON. “So this is a great opportunity for me to show that I really understand music and to be a real Coach. And to really give direction to some of these Artists that could be, you know, today’s next big thing.”

The coaches have a great time working on the show — both on screen and behind the scenes.

Bublé also shared a funny TikTok that explained why he has to eat with a giant bib.

“Reason #1,346 why I’m not perfect. They make me wear a giant man-bib when I eat my lunch in the wardrobe. #TheVoice,” Bublé posted on TikTok along with a video of him enjoying some tortilla soup backstage.

“So happy to be back for season 28!!!!” he added the caption of the video. “I love this crew and I love tortilla soup.”

Aside from his time on THE VOICE, Bublé has some new music he’s getting ready to release.

“So I asked what you wanted on the next album… and wow, the comment section exploded,” he shared on Instagram. “Some of you want jazz, some want pop, one guy asked for Mongolian throat singing? 😂 Anyway, this jam session reminded me why I do this. Can’t wait to show you all what’s next.”

While we don’t know yet when Bublé’s new album will drop, fans can catch him and the other coaches on NBC Monday and Tuesday nights this fall at 8 p.m. ET/PT on THE VOICE.

The Voice hit by unexpected upset ahead of season 28 shake-up

The NBC competition show has fallen behind

Is The Voice losing its appeal?

The beloved NBC music competition has been on the air since 2011 for 27 seasons, when the founding judges were Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and CeeLo Green.

In that time, it has earned a whopping 86 Emmy nominations across the awards’ many categories, however, that wasn’t the case this year.

    The Voice’s 2024 judges

For the first time since 2012, The Voice didn’t earn any nominations within the Television Academy’s main awards, losing out on its chance to win its fourth Emmy.

It did however earn some Creative Arts nods, the branch of the Emmys that focuses on technical, creative and craft categories, including Outstanding Picture Editing for a Structured Reality or Competition Program, Outstanding Hairstyling for a Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Program, Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Series, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Reality Program, Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Series.

In place of The Voice, Survivor is back in the game in the Outstanding Reality Competition Program category, after failing to earn a nomination last year.

Others in the category are RuPaul’s Drag Race, Shark Tank, Top Chef, and fan favorite The Traitors.

    What’s next for season 28

The Emmys upset comes amid a major cast change for the upcoming 28th season, as not one, not two, but three of the four judges are not coming back, making Michael Bublé, who first joined for season 26 in 2024, the only judge staying on.

Nick Jonas was a judge on various seasons of ‘The Voice’

Adam, a founding judge alongside Blake, who has since also left the show, initially departed in 2019, and this season was his first (and apparently only) back on the chair. He confirmed as much during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, declaring: “I am gonna confirm the rumors are true.” He added: “The rumors are correct. There are details. I cannot divulge all the details.”

Meanwhile Kelsea Ballerini, who made her debut as judge this season, is eager to lay low for a while. Speaking with ExtraTV, she confessed: “I’m going to hibernate for a while,” and emphasized she is going to “disappear for a bit.”

Miley Cyrus also once served as judge

Last but certainly not least, John Legend is also leaving, however he has been more mum about it and what his summer plans are. While he hasn’t opened up much about it this time around, he has taken breaks from The Voice before, and when he didn’t come back for season 26, he told Entertainment Tonight: “We’ve always got so many things going on. I’ll be doing a lot of shows this summer and traveling overseas this summer.”

As for who to expect on the judges panel next season alongside Michael? Well three may be leaving, but expect some familiar faces back on those swivel chairs! Previous judges and fan-favorites Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg have all been confirmed to be coming back for season 28.

Eva Pilgrim‘s new role on Inside Edition comes amid casting shakeups at Good Morning America.

Pilgrim was announced to be taking over for Deborah Norville as the host of Inside Edition this fall on Monday, July 7. “Anchoring Inside Edition is truly a dream job,” she said in a statement, per Variety. “I have been an avid viewer and fan of the show for many years. I’m pinching myself that I get to work with this amazing team. It’s truly an honor to join a show with such a long, rich history.”

Pilgrim has cohosted GMA‘s third hour, GMA3: What You Need to Know, with DeMarco Morgan since 2023, as the pair replaced Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes following their affair scandal and subsequent departure from ABC.

In the wake of Pilgrim’s exit, ABC News president Almin Karamehmedovic reportedly informed GMA staffers that Morgan would also be departing the series in a memo sent on Monday. “He has decided to begin a new journey and will be departing ABC News,”the memo read, per Variety.

Back in April, a source close to the show told the New York Post that Karamehmedovic was looking to replace Pilgrim and Morgan on the show by the end of this summer.

“GMA3 won’t be there at the end of the summer,” an insider told the outlet.

The casting speculation arose after the ABC morning show reportedly laid off several workers in March, resulting in the combination of GMA and GMA3‘s production teams, according to the New York Post.

One source speculated that GMA‘s main hosting trio — Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos — could be tapped to take over GMA3 unless new hosts are chosen.

An ABC News person declined to comment on Pilgrim and Morgan’s GMA3 futures to the New York Post in April. However, a spokesperson emphasized the show’s importance while discussing the consolidation of GMA and GMA3‘s production teams.

“What we have said from the beginning is that we are unifying all day parts under the GMA umbrella and team and that includes seeing all members of the extended GMA family in the third hour,” the spokesperson told the outlet. “The third hour is a valued part of the GMA franchise. Robin, George, and Michael have been on before, and they will continue to be featured.”

GMA‘s entire production recently underwent a major change, as the show moved from Times Square Studios to a new ABC/Disney studio in New York City. “We are just so excited to be here in our new building with all of our ABC friends,” Lara Spencer said during the show’s June 16 episode. “We’re talking [Live with] Kelly and MarkThe ViewTamron Hall20/20[ABC] World News Tonight, our pal David Muir.”

‘The Price Is Right’: Giggling Contestant Gets Gift From Drew Carey After Agonizing Loss

The Price Is Right contestant Brittany Thomas playing Check Game on June 5, 2025
    The Price Is Right/YouTube

When Brittany Thomas came up to The Price Is Right stage, she couldn’t stop giggling, but her demeanor changed quickly when she agonizingly lost out on a big paycheck. Host Drew Carey gave her a gift that no game show contestant wants to receive.

Thomas’ game on Thursday, June 5, started out great when she won the fifth item up for bid, which was a ProSteel home safe with adjustable shelving. She had the highest bid of $1,202 and won the $1,459 safe.

When Drew Carey told her that she would be playing Check Game, she giggled after seeing her name on the big check on the wall. “Yeah, I know,” the host said.

All she had to do was write a number on the check. That number plus the amount of the game room that she could win had to equal between $8,000 and $9,000. If she got it in between there, she won both the game room and the money.

Thomas looked out to the audience for advice. She eventually settled on $2,500. The prize was valued at $7,422. This made her total $9,922, making her over by $992.

The Price Is Right contestant didn’t win either prize, so model James O’Halloran came over and stamped a big “VOID” on the check.

    “No no no!” Thomas pleaded.

O’Halloran and Carey took it off the wall. “What a cool souvenir you just got!” the host said. “You could frame it. Hang it on your wall.”

“I could frame the failure,” Thomas said.

“Yes! I would,” Drew Carey responded. “I would totally save that.”

He reminded her that she won a safe in which she could hide her check. Even after she lost, Thomas continued to laugh and keep a positive attitude.

However, her luck turned around when she spun a 100 on the Showcase Showdown wheel. She got an extra $1,000 from spinning 100 exactly and advanced to the Showcase. She spun again to try and get more money but landed on 55 instead of 15 or 5, which would have given her an additional $10,000.

Thomas bid $32,000 on her Showcase, which consisted of bedroom furniture, a yoga package, and a 2025 Toyota Camry SE. The Showcase was worth $38,333, which was a difference of $6,333. She won since the other contestant was $14,000 under.

‘The Price Is Right’ Contestant Can’t Look After Changing Her Answers — Does She Win Car?

The Price is Right contestant Cheryl playing One Away on June 6, 2025
    The Price Is Right/YouTube

The Price Is Right contestant Cheryl decided to not look at the outcome after she changed her answers numerous times. Cheryl won a car, and fans said she was a “cute” contestant.

She got to entertain The Price Is Right watchers right away as she won the first items up for bid. The items were Helen Ficalora designer jewelry, including a 14k gold bangle bracelet, rose earrings, and a rose flower with diamond accents. Cheryl bid $1,600 on them, which was the highest bid made. Since the items were worth $1,615, she won Bidder’s Row and advanced to the stage to play a game.

Cheryl wore a frilly pink skirt, big pink hoop earrings, pink slip-on sneakers, pink tights, and a black t-shirt that said, “Pick Me, Pick Me. I’m Ready to Come on Down.” Pink flowers were attached to the shirt.

The game show contestant played One Away for a chance to win a 2025 Hyundai Kona SEL on Friday, June 6. The way One Away works is there are five numbers displayed on the board. The contestant has to determine whether the correct number is one up from that or one down from that. For example, if the first number is a four, they have to decide whether it is actually a three or a five.

Cheryl started out with $38,216 as the price of the car. She changed the price to $27,107. The contestant screamed like she won and said, “I got it!” But host Drew Carey pointed out, “We don’t know yet. These aren’t right automatically as soon as we flip them over.”

Cheryl had to ask the Sound Effects lady if she had any numbers right, and she had three correct. She then had the opportunity to change two numbers on the board, but she didn’t know which two were right.

With advice from the people she came with, Cheryl changed the one to a three and the seven to a nine. Model James O’Halloran changed the first seven, but the contestant wanted to change the last seven. Drew Carey explained that the last seven would go to a five since it started out as a six.

Ultimately, she decided to change the price to $27,305. Before the correct price was revealed, Cheryl asked Drew Carey if she had to look. “Can I look that way?” she asked. He told her she could, and she turned around and covered her eyes. Both Carey and O’Halloran chuckled at her actions.

She chose the right price and won the car. Carey mocked her by covering his eyes as he asked to bring another contestant up. Cheryl went over on the Showcase Showdown wheel, spinning a $1.15 when the goal is not to go over $1.00, so she didn’t advance to the Showcase.

Cheryl’s win was posted to Instagram and fans fawned over her. “Her not looking was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen in my life! I’m so glad she won 🥰,” one follower wrote.

“Her outfit is so awesome,” said another.

“She’s so cute,” added a third.

“I love her. She’s the cutest. So happy for her,” a fan commented.

In the past, NPR CEO Katherine Maher said that America is “addicted to White supremacy” and that the words “boy and girl” are “erasing language for non-binary people.”Now that NPR might finally lose its taxpayer money, she’s singing a different tune

NPR Under Fire: CEO Katherine Maher’s Past Controversial Remarks Resurface Amid Funding Debate

Washington D.C. – National Public Radio (NPR) finds itself in a deepening controversy as past remarks by its CEO, Katherine Maher, have resurfaced, drawing sharp criticism and fueling public debate over the network’s future funding. Maher, who took the helm of NPR in March, previously made highly contentious statements, including asserting that America is “addicted to White supremacy” and that the terms “boy and girl” constitute “erasing language for non-binary people.” These comments, made prior to her leadership at NPR, are now under intense scrutiny as the organization faces the potential loss of taxpayer money.

Maher’s past statements, particularly those regarding “White supremacy” and gender-inclusive language, have sparked outrage among a segment of the public who view them as divisive and out of step with the impartial journalism expected of a publicly funded entity. Critics argue that such strong ideological positions from a top executive undermine NPR’s credibility and alienate a significant portion of its potential audience, raising questions about whether the network can truly serve all Americans.

The timing of this renewed focus on Maher’s comments is particularly fraught. NPR, which receives a portion of its funding through federal grants via the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), has long been a target for conservative lawmakers advocating for an end to taxpayer support.

The ongoing debate about the federal budget and the role of public broadcasting has intensified, with Maher’s controversial remarks providing new ammunition for those pushing to defund the organization.

However, in what many observe as a striking shift in tone, Maher appears to be adopting a more conciliatory stance now that NPR’s financial lifeline is potentially threatened. Previously, her public statements often leaned into progressive social commentary. Yet, faced with the real prospect of losing federal dollars, her recent rhetoric has reportedly emphasized unity, broad appeal, and NPR’s commitment to diverse perspectives.

    Image

Despite this apparent change in approach, many Americans remain unconvinced. Public sentiment, particularly among those critical of NPR’s perceived liberal bias, suggests that Maher’s newfound moderation is viewed with skepticism, seen as a strategic maneuver rather than a genuine shift in belief.

Social media platforms and news comment sections are abuzz with users expressing distrust, with a common refrain being that the change in tune is solely a response to financial pressure.

The controversy highlights a persistent tension in American media: how to balance editorial independence and public funding, especially in an increasingly polarized political landscape.

As NPR navigates this stormy period, the words of its CEO continue to reverberate, shaping public perception and influencing the critical debate over whether the network will, or should, continue to receive support from U.S. taxpayers. The coming months will undoubtedly be pivotal for NPR’s financial future and its relationship with the American public.

The Beloved Game Show Takes a Twist: An Unusual Mishap Strikes The Price Is Right!

From Coffee Crashes to Kicking Machines: The Unforgettable Mishaps That Keep “The Price Is Right” Lively

“The Price Is Right” has captivated audiences for decades with its exciting games, extravagant prizes, and the undeniable charm of its hosts. But beyond the perfect bids and big wins, the show has also carved out a special place in television history for its surprisingly frequent and often hilarious on-air mishaps. These unplanned moments, far from derailing the fun, often become some of the most memorable segments, showcasing the quick thinking and easygoing nature of the show’s crew and, particularly, host Drew Carey.

When Prizes Go Rogue: The Coffee Maker Catastrophe

Price Is Right's Drew Carey in disbelief as unusual mishap occurs during airing - TV - Entertainment - Daily Express US

One recent incident involved a seemingly innocent prize: a coffee-making set. As it was being transported onto the stage, likely via one of the show’s charming miniature trains, disaster struck. Before any contestant could even utter a guess, the entire set tumbled off its perch and crashed dramatically to the floor. The crew swiftly moved in to clean up the shattered pieces, while Drew Carey, ever the professional comedian, lightened the mood. With a perfectly timed quip, he jokingly asked the bewildered contestant to guess the price of a new coffee maker, turning a potential disaster into a moment of shared laughter.

Model Mayhem: The Unscripted Car Crash

Another unforgettable moment occurred in 2016, involving a seemingly simple task for one of the show’s models. Rachel Reynolds, while showcasing a gleaming Ford Mustang, accidentally drove it directly into a temporary wall on stage. Thankfully, the car emerged unscathed, a testament to modern automotive durability, but the wall bore the brunt of the unexpected impact. Drew Carey, maintaining his composure, quickly assured the lucky contestant that, should they win, they would indeed be receiving a brand-new, undamaged vehicle. It was a testament to the show’s commitment to its prizes, even in the face of an unplanned demolition.

Taking Matters (and Kicks) into His Own Hands: The Malfunctioning Game Machine

Not all mishaps involve crashing props or vehicles. Sometimes, it’s the games themselves that decide to act up. On one occasion, during the popular “Flip Flop” game, the machine stubbornly refused to cooperate.1 With the show live on air and the game stuck, Drew Carey took an unconventional, yet effective, approach. He famously kicked the machine a few times until, miraculously, it sprang back to life! The audience and crew erupted in amusement, highlighting Carey’s willingness to go off-script and his knack for turning technical difficulties into entertaining moments.

Grace Under Pressure: Wardrobe Woes and Near Misses

Beyond the major incidents, “The Price Is Right” has also seen its share of smaller, yet equally memorable, almost-mishaps. A contestant once experienced a wardrobe malfunction while making their excited dash to meet Drew Carey on stage.2 True to form, Carey handled the situation with practiced ease and discretion, ensuring the contestant’s comfort and keeping the focus on the game. In another instance, Carey’s quick reflexes prevented a potential mess when a contestant was enthusiastically playing for a car, showcasing his constant vigilance and ability to anticipate and avert problems before they escalate.

These charmingly unpredictable moments serve as a reminder that live television, even with meticulous planning, is inherently susceptible to the unexpected. However, it’s precisely how the hosts, models, and crew respond to these curveballs that truly defines the show’s enduring appeal. Drew Carey, in particular, has consistently demonstrated his remarkable ability to think on his feet, maintain a cheerful demeanor, and seamlessly keep the show rolling, no matter what surprising turns “The Price Is Right” takes. These mishaps aren’t just bloopers; they’re integral to the show’s vibrant, unscripted charm.
