Everyone likes a good crossover, and things get elevated to another level when it’s between two of the most popular shows on American television. “Family Feud” host Steve Harvey has had his own talk show, and “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon also used to be a comedian just like Harvey. That’s why it was special when Fallon brought “Family Feud” along with its iconic host. Harvey, on his show. The result of the crossover was endless bouts of laughter from the audience.

In the segment, the Fallon family, which included Hollywood star Alison Brie and announcer Steve Higgins, faced the Roots family, which included band members Questlove, Tarik, and James Poyser. Harvey was the host of this iconic game of “Family Feud.”

While regular contestants on the show are sometimes tough to handle for Harvey, Fallon took things to the next level. He kept getting on the host’s nerves by mixing up the game with another popular game show, “Jeopardy!” When Harvey asked Fallon for a nickname he might call his spouse, the funny man answered with “What is ‘dear,’ Steve?” in typical “Jeopardy!” fashion.

Harvey was not pleased at all and said, “What the hell do you keep saying ‘what is’ for?” before adding, “This is Family Feud. Family Feud is the new No. 1 game show in the country today.” Fallon then took another jibe at Harvey by asking if the word “jealous” was on the board. Harvey didn’t take it lightly either as he hit back by reminding Fallon that “he ain’t the only one with a hit show.”

Before the funny bit, Harvey told the audience that his team had surveyed the live studio audience of “The Tonight Show” and collected answers to the various questions involved in the game. The first round started off with the question, “What’s a nickname you might call your spouse?” Fallon faced off at the podium against Quest Love and hit the buzzer first. He came up with the answer, “Boo-Boo Kitty” which later changed to “Boo”. When the answer showed up on the board, Quest Love topped it with his answer, “Baby,” earning his team a chance to play.

The other band members came up with answers like “Honey” and “Sweetheart,” but unfortunately, the latter did not show up on the board. Even Quest Love couldn’t save the round, and the turn went on to Fallon, resulting in the funny “Jeopardy!” bit. The second round began with Brie and Tarik facing off at the podium on the question, “Name something you would do in a club.” This time, the Roots family pressed the buzzer first, and Tarik answered “Dance.” The answer showed up in the top spot, handing a clean sweep to the team as the game had only two questions.

In the end, the final round was won by the Roots family, who ended up with considerably more points than their competitors. Nevertheless, the segment produced one of the funniest games of “Family Feud” ever.

Steve Harvey Faces Renewed Scrutiny Over Personal Life and Public Persona

Steve Harvey, the comedian and television host known for his larger-than-life personality, has once again found himself at the center of public scrutiny.

This time, the controversy stems from comments he made during a recent episode of Family Feud, where he opened up about personal topics that sparked a wave of criticism online. The backlash has been particularly intense regarding Harvey’s relationships and past controversies, reviving old debates about his authenticity and personal ethics.

At the heart of the controversy is a discussion about Harvey’s relationships, especially his third marriage to Marjorie Harvey. Over the years, Steve Harvey’s personal life has often been a topic of public fascination and scrutiny. His marriage to Marjorie, in particular, has been the subject of rumors and speculation.

During the recent Family Feud episode, Harvey made a seemingly offhand comment about his past, which many viewers interpreted as a veiled reference to his previous marriages and the circumstances surrounding them.

This comment reignited criticisms that have followed Harvey for years—namely, accusations that he has been less than honest about the timeline of his relationships and the impact they had on his previous marriages. Critics have pointed to his divorce from his second wife, Mary Shackelford, as particularly contentious. The timing of his relationship with Marjorie, who is often blamed by some for the breakdown of Harvey’s previous marriage, has been a point of contention among his detractors.

The backlash has not only focused on Harvey’s personal life but also on his public persona. As a man who has built a career on offering advice—through his books, radio shows, and as the host of Family Feud—Harvey’s image as a moral and trustworthy figure has come under fire.

Some fans and critics alike have questioned whether his actions align with the advice he so freely gives to others. The irony of a man who frequently dispenses relationship advice being embroiled in a marital controversy has not been lost on the public, leading to a significant amount of negative commentary on social media.

Furthermore, this latest controversy has reopened discussions about the strained relationship between Steve Harvey and the late comedian Bernie Mac. Fans of Mac have long accused Harvey of undermining Mac’s career, a claim that Harvey has repeatedly denied. However, the emotional nature of Harvey’s comments during the Family Feud episode—seen by some as crocodile tears—has only fueled these allegations. Mac’s supporters have been particularly vocal, accusing Harvey of hypocrisy and insincerity.

'Something Is Off': Steve Harvey's Unrecognizable Look in 'Sleek' New Suit Sparks Concern as Fans Say He Looks 'Sick'

Despite the negative attention, Steve Harvey has remained largely silent on the matter, a stark contrast to his usual willingness to address controversies head-on. Whether this silence is a strategic decision or a sign of deeper concern remains to be seen. What is clear, however, is that Harvey’s personal and public personas are once again under intense scrutiny, with his critics gaining ground in their accusations.

In the world of celebrity, where public perception can change in an instant, this latest controversy is a reminder of the fragile nature of fame. For Steve Harvey, a man who has built a career on his quick wit and relatable humor, the challenge now is to navigate this storm of criticism while maintaining the trust of his audience. Whether he can emerge from this controversy unscathed will depend largely on his ability to reconcile his public image with the private decisions that have led to this moment.

Price Is Right’s longtime host, Drew Carey, has shared some of his candid feelings about one odd aspect of being on the hit game show

The Price Is Right player celebrates after winning car

The Price Is Right’s Drew Carey has always been candid about what it’s been like hosting the hit CBS game show since 2007.

Now, he’s opened up about one strange aspect of his hosting duties: watching himself on TV.

The 66-year-old, who recently concerned viewers with how players manhandle him, shared his honest feelings about the subject while celebrating the long-awaited release of the 30th anniversary edition of The Drew Carey Show: The Complete Series on DVD.

“Not a lot of my fans know [that] I don’t like watching myself on TV. I have a real hard time,” he told Parade. “I’ve sat in the editing room a few times on The Drew Carey Show, and I had to leave.

“I don’t do it that often because every time I saw it, I was like, ‘That’s what I look like? And that’s [how] I walk?’ I get so tired of seeing myself.”

Price Is Right's Drew Carey and player

Carey went on to recall that one of the producers on The Price Is Right wanted to give him some notes regarding his onscreen performances.

He was made to watch himself so he could understand what production was talking about.

“I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ He was like, ‘I know, I apologize.’ And he really had to twist my arm to make me watch myself, even on The Price Is Right,” the host continued.

“So I’ve always been like this. I don’t watch The Price Is Right. I don’t watch The Drew Carey Show. Once in a while, I’ll put it on [to] just like see a minute of it, or Whose Line [Is It Anyway?].”

Carey might not like watching himself on TV, but that doesn’t mean he dislikes hosting the game show.

While speaking to People last May, Carey said he’s planning on performing his role to his grave.

    Price Is Right's Drew Carey

“Thoughts of dying on stage with a microphone in my hand have gone through my mind,” he laughed. “I never want to leave. I’m having such a good time there. Everybody treats me great and the cast is great and the production office is great.”

“I really feel supported and loved there and wanted,” Carey continued. “When you’re 65 and in the entertainment business, you don’t really get that that often. I’m in a pretty rare situation so I wanna keep that going as long as I can.”

In 2007, Carey took over hosting the beloved game show from Bob Barker and since then, he’s made the show his own, adding a new set, logo and theme music.

Despite making falling into the role perfectly and honing his skills as host over the years, Carey told People earlier, in March 2024, that he initially turned the role down.

“I said, f— no,” the comedian recalled at the time. “I just wanted to be able to do things that were fun and interesting instead of having a ‘job-job’ or something I had to do every day, because I just had, after being on The Drew Carey Show and everything, I was done with the idea of just being on a show forever.”

Carey revealed that he quickly changed his mind after realizing his dreams of buying a Major League Soccer team — or, at least becoming a part-owner of one.

“I knew how much money it was going to take for that to happen,” he explained. “Then one of the show’s producers asked me what my favorite thing to do was. I go, ‘I love leaving big tips when I go to restaurants.’

“‘Well, if you work on The Price Is Right, you’ll be able to do that all the time for a living,’ they said. ‘Just give out things.’ That was the light bulb that went off in my head.

“I could just make a living giving prizes to people and being around happy people all day. I met [my agent] at a steakhouse. … And I go, ‘I think I want to be the host of The Price is Right.’ He shook my hand and goes, ‘Well, there’s your soccer money.’”

The Price Is Right player celebrates after winning car

The Price Is Right’s host, Drew Carey, has once again been manhandled by an over-the-top contestant after nearly being knocked down several times last week.

During the Memorial Day episode of the hit CBS game show on May 26, player Steven excitedly jumped up and down and began shouting after he guessed the nearest retail price of a new TV.

When the player got to the stage, he gave Carey a massive hug that nearly knocked him over, and got even more rambunctious when announcer George Gray revealed he had the chance of winning a trip to Cozumel if he won a game of Flip Flop.

Flip Flop sees a contestant shown the wrong price of a prize, and they have to decide whether to interchange the first two digits, the last two digits, or both.

If the contestant forms the price of the prize, they wins the prize.

Price Is Right player and Drew Carey

Steven switched the number to $7k and won.

As the beeper blinked indictating his win, the contestant jumped up and down and yelled again before jumping off the stage to give presenter James O’Halloran just as big a hug as the one he gave Carey moments before.

He then looked to the audience and began jumping with his arms pointed high above his head.

Since taking over for Bob Barker in 2007, Carey has seen and experienced it all, including being manhandled by contestants, even though fans have been concerned about him for months.

However, one from last week surprised him by nearly knocking him down several times.

During the May 21 episode, player Alexander got extremely excited when he guessed the nearest retail price of a fire pit and practically ran to the stage to give Carey a bear hug that pretty much turned into a headlock.

Price Is Right player and Drew Carey

He played an easy game of Side By Side to win a trip to Alaska and succeeded, only to jump up and down on Carey once again.

Carey joked: “Don’t go to Alaska,” before Alexander jumped on him a third time in excitement.

Thankfully for Carey and his back, Alexander failed to get into the Showcase round when he later spun on the wheel.

Fans of Price Is Right have been growing increasingly concerned for Carey’s wellbeing around rambunctious players for months.

On a Reddit board in March, they expressed their worry for Carey’s safety, agreeing that the contestants who fail to contain their excitement and jump on the host are too dangerous and need to be warned about their behavior prior to the show.

Price Is Right always encourages fans to be as energetic and excited as possible but the fans online think some have been too rough with the beloved game show host.

On the forum called No touchy, one fan wrote: “Before the show tapes, do they announce to the audience, if you make it on stage, do NOT hug, maul, pick up, get rough with Drew? Some of these contestants are too rough. They could accidentally hurt Drew.”

In the comments section, one responded: “Evidently they don’t because some of the women are all over him. One almost pushed him over and the woman today was crawling all over him.”

Price Is Right player and James O’Halloran

A second added: “Yeah, Drew isn’t exactly a spring chicken any more. I realize contestants are pumped up, but please don’t damage the host… or the models either.”

A third pointed out: “They show a hype video of people doing crazy things before you go into the studio, which inspires folks to be crazy. My pet peeve is being slow as hell to come down once called.”

A fourth mentioned: “If I remember right from when I went to a taping, they do say not to do it in a pre-show video and they have a montage of people knocking Drew and the models over with hugs.”

Yet another commented: “I’ve been getting worried about him lately. Some of these crazies are getting way too physical with him,” as another penned: “We were there in October and no one said that to us that I remember. But I agree they should! A few years ago Drew had a shoulder issue and I remember them saying something on air at the time about being careful to not hurt him.”

Another scared viewer added: “One day is going to be bad I can feel it… It’s crazy the adrenaline with these people lol they don’t know their own strength and will probably take him down.. he could break a hip.”

However, one person argued: “I think he likes it.”

TVLine has reached out to Moran for comment.

The network suspended Moran Sunday after he wrote an X post Saturday that called Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller a “world-class hater.”

“The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism,” he wrote in the post, which has since been deleted. “Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that’s not what’s interesting about Miller. It’s not brains. It’s bile. Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He’s a world-class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate. Trump is a world-class hater. But his hatred only a means to an end, and that end his his own glorification. That’s his spiritual nourishment.”

New details are emerging about Wheel of Fortune‘s decision to temporarily replace Vanna White during the game show’s upcoming 41st season.

As we previously reported, the iconic letter turner contracted COVID in late July while Wheel was filming its annual “Teachers Week” block, slated to air in October. In her absence, producers tapped California-based “Teacher of the Year” recipient Bridgette Donald-Blue to stand at the letter board for the week’s worth of episodes.

It will be the first time in more than three decades that White will be MIA on the show.

Although a rep for Sony is not commenting on the switcheroo, a Wheel insider is explaining why production on “Teachers Week” was forced to carry on without White vs. being postponed until she recovered.

“Teachers had already arrived in L.A. to tape the episodes and, with the academic school year starting, it was not feasible to reschedule that day,” the source tells TVLine. “In keeping with the ‘Teachers Week’ theme… Bridgette Donald-Blue graciously agreed fill in for Vanna for those five episodes.”

The insider notes that Wheel was, however, able to reschedule the following day’s taping to accommodate White’s absence, thus avoiding a two-week stretch of Vanna-free episodes.

All of this, of course, comes during tense contract negotiations for White, who is seeking her first salary bump in 18 years.

As previously reported, Wheel host Pat Sajak is stepping down from his longtime position as Wheel host at the end of Season 41. Episodes featuring Ryan Seacrest as the new host will begin airing in September 2024.

The Price Is Right player celebrates after winning car

The Price Is Right’s host, Drew Carey, dropped a surprising detail about having contestants win cars on the hit CBS game show.

During the June 10 episode, contestant Timothy made it to the stage to meet Carey after guessing the nearest retail price of boxing gear.

The host, who took over from Bob Barker in 2007, instantly noticed the player’s shirt, which mentioned that he was a retired veteran who had served for 30 years.

After congratulating Timothy on his service, announcer George Gray revealed that the contestant had the chance of winning a sedan if he won a game of the Card Game.

The game is a pricing game played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards for a brand new car as well as with a special card deck to determine how close they must come to the car’s actual retail price without going over to win it.

    Price Is Right's Drew Carey

As presenter James O’Halloran rolled the car toward the audience, Timothy asked Carey if it was running.

“He just asked me if it ran,” Carey explained to the audience. “We just push it out. Three guys pushed it out because we’re not allowed to start the engines on stage because of the fumes.”

Carey added: “We don’t wanna kill anyone.” The host then faked while saying, “Hey, welcome to The Price Is Right.”

Timothy went on to win the sedan and a spot in the Showcase Round.

He bid 25k on a TV, sound system, kitchen, and a trip to Singapore. His opponent, Jeremy, bid $31k on a book nook, a trip to Aruba, and an SUV. Jeremy won the episode.

Price Is Right's Drew Carey and player

Last week, a player made a last-minute change to her game because of a “gut feeling,” and it cost her an incredible win.

During the June 6 episode, contestant Carolyn made it to the stage to meet Carey after guessing the nearest retail price of a computer.

Gray revealed that she had the chance of winning a trip to Nashville if she won a game of Coming or Going. In this game, a player slides a board from left to right to reveal the price they think a prize is worth.

Carolyn initially listened to the crowd and slid the number to make the lower number, $6k, but just as Carey revealed the answer, she quickly changed it to the $8k price.

She claimed she had a “gut feeling” to change the price at the last minute.

“Last second change,” Carey said before he revealed that she’d been correct with her first guess.

He then joked, “If only there was a sad country song we could play for her.”

Later, Carolyn failed again while spinning the wheel to get into the Showcase Round.

Brenda and Brady battled it out in the Showcase, with Brady bidding $35k on a trip to Vienna and a sedan.

Brenda bid $25k on designer sunglasses, a trip to the Maldives, and a boat, but Brady ended up winning.

Outraged Fans Declare Show “Unwatchable,” Pointing Fingers Directly at Steve Harvey’s Controversial Style!

‘Family Feud’ Fans Slam ‘Unwatchable’ Show, Steve Harvey To Blame?

    Family Feud: Steve Harvey

Family Feud fans had plenty to say about the game show recently, and the vast majority of it wasn’t good. Some even called the program “unwatchable.” Is host Steve Harvey to blame for this recent negative backlash?

Family Feud Started Out As A Family Show

When Family Feud first premiered almost 50 years ago, the idea was for it to be a family-friendly show that the entire brood could watch. In all of those decades since, the game show has become an integral part of households across the country.

Whenever most people who are even casual watchers of the show think of it, many of them have fond memories of watching the program with a relative or someone else close to them. While the game show isn’t perfect by any means, it’s certainly a part of the social fabric.

Viewers Blast The Game Show, Say It’s “Unwatchable”

As Family Feud has gone on, there has been a steady stream of viewers regularly bashing the show for becoming far too vulgar, as many see it. Where once the questions may have been innocent, a lot of them nowadays are raunchy, and lewd-leaning.

Of course, there’s a formula to all of this. The more outrageous a scene is on the set of Family Feud, the more likely it is that it will become a viral clip on social media. This can potentially generate millions of plays, and, ultimately, more money. Recently, even more fans came out of the woodwork with negative things to say about the show.

One person said: “Today, IMO, the show is unwatchable as at least two main game questions are at best risqué and families getting a dollar a point for their main game score was long gone by then (and teams that were shut out were usually given $100 as a house minimum in the [Richard] Dawson era).”
Another person said: “I feel ya. Family Feud was amusing and would have the occasional contestant blurt out the most outrageous answer nearly 15 years ago.”

Is Family Feud Host Steve Harvey To Blame?

While most fans agree that Steve Harvey’s reactions on the show are clearly forced/exaggerated for effect, viewers agree that he is the one bright spot that continues to keep a good chunk of the viewership tuning in.

Fans recently criticized Harvey’s “contrived and obvious” behavior to generate a reaction from the audience. Some even called out his “thousand-yard stare into the camera” whenever a participant says something risqué.

More than anything, some Family Feud watchers even feel bad for Steve Harvey, that he has to perform in this manner just to get a laugh. However, despite the noticeably raunchy turn the show has taken, Steve Harvey seems to be the one thing that keeps some viewers coming back.
