[SO SAD] Dana Perino Is LEAVING Fox News’ Due to ‘TENSIONS’ with Sean Hannity

Dana Perino Is Leaving Fox News’ ‘The Five’ Due to ‘Tensions’ with Sean Hannity?

“Hannity was outraged and expressed his intention to sue Perino and Fox for violating his contract and driving away sponsors,” an online article said.

On May 19, 2024, Meta approved and accepted money for at least one ad displayed to Facebook and Instagram users claiming Dana Perino — a former White House press secretary for U.S. President George W. Bush — announced her departure as one of the hosts of the Fox News TV show “The Five.”

A right-column version of the ad served to Facebook users read, “It’s Official: We Say Farewell To Dana Perino.”

A false and scammy ad claimed Dana Perino was leaving the Fox News show The Five after so-called tensions with Sean Hannity and a lawsuit with the news network.A different version of the ad displayed in users’ news feeds also included the words, “A sad end to a brilliant career.”

A false and scammy ad claimed Dana Perino was leaving the Fox News show The Five after so-called tensions with Sean Hannity and a lawsuit with the news network. The ads led to an article on the website freshdailydrive.com. The link first routed through falcondownholesolutions.com before redirecting to freshdailydrive.com.

The headline of the article read, “Dana Perino Leaves ‘The Five’ and Sparks Major Lawsuit Against Fox: Her Response on Air.” According to the story, Perino created a product with the ability to “reverse dementia” named Fortin CBD Gummies. The product purportedly clashed with sponsors of Sean Hannity’s show, leading to “tensions” with the fellow Fox News host.

A false and scammy ad claimed Dana Perino was leaving the Fox News show The Five after so-called tensions with Sean Hannity and a lawsuit with the news network. However, Perino was not leaving “The Five.” She has no involvement with CBD gummies. Further, the “tensions” with Hannity were made up. The article was both false and a scam.

Scammers designed the article on freshdailydrive.com to resemble the layout of articles on the real Fox News website. In other words, they intended to fool users into believing they were reading an article on FoxNews.com. The scam article began as follows:

(Fox) – In an Exclusive Interview, Dana Perino, the renowned former White House Press Secretary, political commentator, and businesswoman, announced that she would be leaving ‘The Five’ due to recent tensions with Sean Hannity, caused by her latest business venture.

Last week, during a heated episode, the popular conservative host, Dana Perino, made headlines by unveiling her new CBD line live on ‘The Five’. Sean Hannity was outraged and expressed his intention to sue Dana Perino and Fox for violating his contract and allegedly driving away sponsors. Dana Perino responded with the following statement:

“I understand that Sean is simply targeting my timeslot. I refuse to succumb to ‘Cancel Culture.’ When I embarked on this journey back in 2022, it was initially a part-time passion project and my way of giving back. Having received so much, I believed there was no better time to make Fortin CBD Gummies accessible to everyone, as it has the potential to help thousands of individuals live pain-free and happier lives.”

Dana Perino’s product, Fortin CBD Gummies, has been selling like hotcakes, with stocks depleting within minutes. She admits that her main challenge as CEO is meeting the overwhelming demand. Her CBD wellness line is not only 90% cheaper but also five times more effective than similar offerings from Bayer and other “Big Pharma” companies.

Sean Hannity was infuriated upon learning that multiple sponsors were suing Fox News Network. Sean is now calling for Dana Perino’s indictment, stating, “While I am pleased that Dana Perino found an alternative to prescription medications, her announcement directly violated our contract. Fox News should terminate her immediately, and she owes us a formal apology.”

    Advertisement:
The article later falsely claimed fellow Fox News host Jesse Watters backed Perino and her CBD gummies product. To be clear, no famous person has endorsed “miracle” CBD gummies for supposedly “instantly and permanently [reversing] dementia.” The website for the British Alzheimer’s Society once published, “There are no research studies that prove cannabis, or products such as cannabis oil (CBD oil), can stop, slow, reverse or prevent the diseases that cause dementia.”

We previously reported on the fact scammers improperly featured other famous people as purportedly endorsing CBD gummies for various medical issues, as well as keto ACV gummies supposedly for weight loss. Such rumors have targeted former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, singer-songwriter and TV show host Kelly Clarkson, tech entrepreneur Elon Musk and ABC News chief health and medical correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton.

Kotb’s announcement sent a shockwave through the TV industry, and many sent out heartfelt messages for the beloved anchor.

Andrews was among those to share their love for Kotb in a post on her X account.

“Love you @hodakotb,” she wrote with two heart emojis.

Other TV personalities such as Al Roker also shared their love for Kotb after the announcement.

“Will I miss her day to day?” he said.

“Sure. But I’m just so thrilled for her that I can’t possibly feel any sadness.

“Here’s the thing. I would feel much worse if she was leaving, yubi but she’s just doing something else within our NBC News family.”

Kotb announced that she is stepping down as a cohost of Today, but will remain with the program in a different, undisclosed role.

“I realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60, and to try something new,” Kotb said.

“I remembered standing outside looking at these beautiful bunch of people with these gorgeous signs, and I thought, ‘This is what the top of the wave feels like for me.’

Erin Andrews reveals ritual she does before every NFL game and asks ‘is that a tradition?’
“And I thought it can’t get better, and I decided that this is the right time for me to kind of move on.”

Kotb also shared that she wanted to prioritize spending as much time as she could with her two daughters who are five and seven years old.

While Kotb stepped down on her own accord, reports have indicated that the move may have been related to her large income at NBC.

Kotb earned more than $20 million per year on Today, according to Puck.

“NBC executives loved Hoda and knew her value to the brand, but also made clear to her agents that such stratospheric contracts were no longer justifiable given the industry’s inexorable decline,” Puck reported.

    London calling

The New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings will kick off the NFL’s annual run of London fixtures this weekend.

New York and Minnesota will clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday October 6 at 2.30pm local time – 9.30am ET for fans back home in America.

It will be the first of three straight NFL Sundays that begin with an early game live from London.

The following week, Tottenham also plays host to the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Chicago Bears.

And on October 20, the Jags will head across town to Wembley Stadium to take on the New England Patriots.

Today averaged 4.672 million viewers in September of 2014, but 10 years later the show averaged nearly half of that with 2.536 million.

“As I write this, my heart is all over the map,” Kotb continued in her statement.

“I know I’m making the right decision, but it’s a painful one. And you all are the reason why.

“They say two things can be right at the same time, and I’m feeling that so deeply right now.

“I love you and it’s time for me to leave the show.”

The network received a large number of viewership during President Donald Trump’s inauguration, while its competitors such as CNN and MSNBC witnessed a ratings drop in comparison to previous years.

“The View” has become a staunchly anti-Trump program ever since he rose to political prominence in 2015. The day following the 2024 election, the show scored its highest viewership in a decade by garnering 4.4 million viewers, making it the most-watched episode since Barbara Walters’ farewell episode on May 16, 2014, Variety first reported.

During that episode, the co-hosts spent the first segment lamenting the reelection of Trump. Co-host Sunny Hostin emotionally stated that she was “profoundly disturbed” by Trump’s defeat of former Vice President Kamala Harris and warned that the then-president-elect would seize “almost unfettered power.” Hostin further accused Latino voters of supporting Trump in record numbers due to “misogyny.”

Under-fire Fox News host Laura Ingraham Jabs Sean Hannity Amidst Shifting Media Scrutiny

Ingraham Jabs Hannity Amidst Shifting Media Scrutiny

Under-fire Fox News host Laura Ingraham, no stranger to controversy herself, recently turned the tables with a playful jab directed at her colleague Sean Hannity. During a recent broadcast or public appearance [mention where this happened if known, e.g., her show, a public event], Ingraham reportedly poked fun at Hannity by suggesting he is now experiencing the intense scrutiny and “fierce criticism” that she has frequently faced.

Sean Hannity Under Fire: Laura Ingraham Relieved 'That the Heat's Off Me' - Newsweek

While the exact context and wording of Ingraham’s remarks remain [specify if details are limited, e.g., somewhat unclear, based on reports], the sentiment was unmistakable. Sources suggest Ingraham delivered the quip with a [describe the tone, e.g., wry smile, knowing chuckle, sarcastic undertone], implying a shared, albeit now perhaps shifting, experience of being in the media spotlight’s less forgiving glare.

The remark comes at a time when [briefly mention the reason for Hannity’s recent criticism, if known and relevant, e.g., Hannity has faced increased scrutiny over his recent comments on…, Hannity’s interview with… drew significant backlash]. This context adds a layer of irony to Ingraham’s jest, suggesting a potential passing of the baton, or at least a shared understanding of the pressures that come with their prominent roles at the network.

Ingraham herself has been a frequent target of criticism for her own commentary and on-air statements.1 Her ability to seemingly find humor in the situation, even while acknowledging her colleague’s current experience, has drawn varied reactions.

Some have interpreted her comments as lighthearted camaraderie between colleagues who understand the rough-and-tumble nature of cable news. Others might see it as a subtle deflection or a moment of schadenfreude amidst her own periods of intense scrutiny.

Hear what Fox News hosts have to say about their texts to Mark Meadows

Regardless of the underlying intent, Ingraham’s playful jab at Hannity highlights the often-turbulent environment of opinion-based media, where hosts can quickly find themselves in the crosshairs of public and critical opinion.

It also offers a glimpse into the internal dynamics at Fox News, where even amidst the pressures of the news cycle, moments of levity and perhaps even a touch of knowing irony can surface.

The exchange, while seemingly brief, is likely to fuel further discussion among media observers and viewers alike, prompting questions about the nature of criticism in the current media landscape and the relationships between prominent figures within the same organization.

Whether Hannity has publicly responded to Ingraham’s remark remains to be seen, but the moment serves as a reminder of the constant scrutiny faced by those who hold influential positions in the world of cable news.

Gutfeld’s statement put an end to the weekslong speculation over his absence from Fox News, yubi a controversy that his co-host Dana Perino commented on before sharing his message.

“This is going to be a great surprise for a lot of you,” she said. “You might have noticed that our friend Greg Gutfeld hasn’t been here for a couple of weeks, and it’s for a good reason. This is a statement that he sent me today. So I’m reading this as if I’m Greg.”

While Gutfeld kept the news of his wife’s pregnancy hidden from the public, it appears he may well have been preparing to expand his family for several months now—even investing in a plush (and very pricey) new home in Manhattan, NY, in July.

    Whirlwind romance

Gutfeld and Moussa, who married in 2004, met in Portugal while he was an editor at Maxim UK and she was a photo editor for Maxim Russia.

Speaking to Bill Maher on the “Club Random” podcast, Gutfeld recalled their first meeting.

He knew from the start that the two of them were destined to end up together, he said.

“I met her and I go, ‘Oh, that’s my wife.’ I just knew it,” he said. “And then I spent three days in Portugal trying to talk to her.”

  • Fox News top host Laura Ingraham is about to be KICKED OUT

Fox News top host Laura Ingraham is about to be KICKED OUT

Fact Check: Has Fox News Fired Laura Ingraham?

Tucker Carlson’s recent sudden exit from Fox News has triggered greater scrutiny of the conservative broadcaster, with a reported dip in ratings and criticism from its audience over Carlson’s departure.

In the past week, reports have circulated that Sean Hannity would take over Carlson’s prime-time spot, a claim that, according to Forbes, the station has denied.

Among rumors of scheduling changes in its primetime, one claim shared widely across social media was that top host Laura Ingraham was also about to be kicked out.

Laura Ingraham's Brother Wants Her Fired

    The Claim

Multiple tweets, posted between May 17-18, 2023, yubi claimed that Fox News had fired host Laura Ingraham.

One tweet by @RightWingCope, posted on May 17, 2023, viewed 888,700 times, stated: “🚨BREAKING: Laura Ingraham got FIRED from her nightly show on Fox”

Another tweet by gun control activist David Hogg, posted on May 17, 2023, and viewed 547,000 times, stated: “Laura Ingraham getting fired the same week I graduate from Harvard would be the best graduation present I could ever get.”

    The Facts

While supporting conservative positions, Ingraham has also spoken on right-wing narratives on the channel. In March 2023, she said that former President Donald Trump would need to forget about the 2020 election during his next bid for the White House.

Speaking on her show, Ingraham said: “If I were Trump or running his campaign I would strongly urge him to stop talking about 2020, it is over, enough.

“Marinating in old claims of election fraud will not win over a single voter in any state that he needs to win in 2024.”

However, claims that Ingraham has been fired by Fox, for whatever reason, are incorrect.

Responding directly, Fox News told Newsweek that the claims about Ingraham were “wildly inaccurate” and that she would remain at the station.

“Reports based on various tweets by left wing activists are wildly inaccurate—Laura Ingraham, the top-rated woman in cable news, is now and will continue to be a prominent host and integral part of the FOX News lineup,” a Fox News spokesperson said.

“No decision has been made on a new primetime line-up and there are multiple scenarios under consideration.”

The claims about Ingraham leaving may have been prompted by rumored changes at the network in the wake of Carlson’s exit, made by the Drudge Report earlier this week.

Laura Ingraham returns following boycott, says liberals 'cutting off free speech' - ABC News

For the time being then, Ingraham does not appear to be leaving the station.

Carlson’s departure from the conservative news network prompted Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently to call on Dominion Voting Systems to say whether the company played a role in his exit.

The network did not explain why it cut ties with Carlson, but the move came soon after Fox News agreed to pay $787 million to settle the voting company’s defamation lawsuit, averting a trial that would have exposed how the network promoted lies about the 2020 presidential election. Text messages sent by Carlson were made public as part of that lawsuit. A Dominion spokeswoman told Newsweek that nothing about Carlson was part of the settlement agreement.

    The Ruling

    False

    False.

The claims about Ingraham appear to have been prompted by rumors of scheduling changes at the station, which the network has not confirmed.

However, as confirmed to Newsweek by Fox News, the claims about Ingraham are false. It added that Ingraham “will continue to be a prominent host and integral part of the FOX News lineup.”

“I Am Absolutely Speechless”: Kelsea Ballerini “Can’t Stop Crying” Over Monumental Milestone

Just over the last year, Kelsea Ballerini not only released her newest album Patterns but she also made her debut on The Voice. Helping others achieve their dreams while also expanding her own career, the singer spent the last decade working to find her footing in country music. And when the Academy of Country Music announced their nominations for the 2025 ACM Awards, Ballerini was once again shocked when she was nominated for Entertainer of the Year.

On May 8th, the ACM will kick off its annual awards show hosted by Reba McEntire. Already hosting the event in the past, yubi the country icon will travel to The Star in Frisco, Texas for the awards. But besides the host for the ACM Awards, country singers clamored to see the full list of nominations and if their name appeared in any category.

Finding her name under the Entertainer of the Year Award section, Ballerini shared the news on Instagram, writing in her stories, “I am absolutely speechless. Being nominated for ENTERTAINER OF THE FREAKING YEAR has been one of my biggest dreams and goals from the very start of this journey.”

While still needing some time to let the news fully sink in, Ballerini added how grateful she felt for just being nominated. “I feel so incredibly grateful, and I feel seen by the genre and community I love so dearly. This continues to feel like my ten year town year and I can’t stop crying happy tears. Wow wow wow.”

Kelsea Ballerini Not The Only One Nominated

Quickly making a name for herself in country music thanks to songs like “Miss Me More”, “I Quit Drinking”, and “Peter Pan”, Ballerini has the makings to become the next big name in the genre. With stars like Lainey Wilson helping usher in a new era of country music, Ballerini found herself alongside the singer on the nomination list.

Winning the Entertainer of the Year award in 2024, Wilson hoped to add another Entertainer of the Year award to her collection. But for both Wilson and Ballerini, they will have to beat out other stars including Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, and even Morgan Wallen.

With the category featuring some amazing talent, Ballerini simply enjoyed being recognized by country music for her talent and contributions to the genre.

High-achieving Fox News host Laura Ingraham has been on her game and appearing on the small screen since the 1990s. Getting her start on MSNBC with her program “Watch It!” the conservative personality has worked hard to become one of Fox News’ richest anchors. However, over the years some viewers have noticed a shift in her appearance, with many online wondering about the appearance of Ingraham’s near-constant smile.

Some have thrown around the theory that Ingraham has possibly had some plastic surgery performed on her face, especially since she doesn’t often fully close her mouth, but “The Ingraham Angle” host has yet to speak publicly on the matter. Therefore, yubi we at Nicki Swift reached out to an industry professional to exclusively get the scoop.

Here we’ll dive in to see if plastic surgery is one of the many untold truths about Laura Ingraham.

Laura Ingraham just might have gotten a pretty good faceliftFirst, plastic surgery expert Dr. Joel Kopelman was quick to point out the glowing quality of Laura Ingraham’s skin, saying that “recent photos suggest a smoother, more youthful appearance.” Dr. Kopelman continued, “These changes could indicate a facelift,” but he noted they might also simply be signs of less-invasive procedures such as laser resurfacing, chemical peels, or injectable fillers. Notably, her eyebrow position could indicate Ingraham underwent a facelift, or at the very least a brow lift, although according to Dr. Kopelman, the two typically are performed together because “lifting the brows and reducing forehead wrinkles [offers] a refreshed look.”

However, the real puzzler is the strangely always-open mouth shape on Ingraham.

Luckily, Dr. Kopelman doesn’t believe that botched lip filler or any such type of tragedy has befallen Ingraham. Dr. Kopelman suggested that “lip fillers … if not balanced, might create an unnatural fullness that affects how the lips rest.” However, he noted her mouth shape might be due to other reasons. “It’s also worth noting that non-surgical factors, like dental work or age-related changes in muscle tone, could contribute to this appearance,” he said.

The surgeon also reminded us that “Sometimes, what seems surgical in nature may simply reflect personal habits or age-related shifts.” For a woman of Ingraham’s age, no matter what procedures she has or has not had done, she certainly looks youthful, refreshed, and upbeat.

Sean Hannity Reveals His Father Beat Him

Fox News host Sean Hannity has stated that his father used to hit him with a belt.

“Aww, the poor little snowflakes got offended that somebody actually, you know, raised their voice slightly,” Hannity said on Thursday after showing a clip of Hostin’s comments.

Sean Hannity “By the way, when my father would hit me with a belt, I didn’t actually raise my voice,” Hannity went on. “How did this country… You know, we used to be the land of the free, home of the brave. What happened? When did we become the land of the snowflake?”

Hannity’s comments were met with laughs from the audience that was present at the studio.

The media personality’s comments come almost a decade after he candidly spoke in favor of corporal punishment before removing his own belt and whipping his desk.

Back in 2014, Hannity spoke with guests on his Fox News show about football player Adrian Peterson, yubi who had been indicted on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child for beating his son, then aged 4, with a switch, or tree branch. The athlete subsequently pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor charge of recklessly assaulting his son.

“I got hit with a strap. Bam, bam, bam—and I’ve never been to a shrink—by my father,” Hannity told his guests, while conceding that Peterson “went too far” with his own son. “I would tell you that I deserved it.”

“I had welts when my father hit me in the legs with his belt,” Hannity told his guests as they detailed the allegations leveled against Peterson.

“My father punched me in the face when I talked back to him once, and I deserved it,” Hannity later said in the discussion while defending his dad’s alleged actions.

“All the people that have used switches over the years and used belts, what are we gonna arrest them all?” Hannity asked. “Are we gonna arrest everybody that’s ever hit their kid?”

Hannity then removed his own belt and proceeded to whip his desk. “I got it like this,” the host said. “And I deserved it. I was a troubled kid.”

“So a switch is always wrong in your view?” Hannity asked his guests, none of whom appeared to support corporal punishment. “You should arrest every parent that uses a switch? So my father should have been arrested based on today’s standards? That’s nuts.”

While Hannity spoke in support of punishing one’s children in such a manner, he revealed in the 2014 debate that he has not continued the cycle. “I don’t hit my kids,” he said. “But I don’t have to. I take their iPhone away—it works perfectly.”

Jesse Watters will fill the Fox News Channel time slot left vacant by the firing of Tucker Carlson, part of a dramatic revamp of the network’s evening lineup announced on Monday.

Greg Gutfeld’s late-night show that combines news and comedy will move up an hour to start at 10 p.m. Eastern, displacing Laura Ingraham. She’ll shift to 7 p.m., the hour that Watters has occupied. Sean Hannity will stay in his 9 p.m. time slot, Fox said. The new lineup yubi debuts on July 17.

The announcement comes roughly two months after Fox News fired Carlson shortly after settling a defamation lawsuit with the voting machine maker Dominion Voting Systems on the eve of trial. The case, which centered on the network’s airing of false claims following the 2020 presidential election, exposed a trove of private messages sent between Fox hosts, including Hannity and Carlson, in which they criticized peers at the network.

Carlson has since begun doing occasional monologues for Twitter, although Fox is attempting to get him to stop the broadcasts.

Fox has seen its ratings tumble since Carlson exited. Carlson averaged 3.25 million viewers at 8 p.m. in the first three months of the year, and the string of guest hosts who replaced him the past two months usually reached under 2 million, making the network’s command more tenuous.

The lineup change signals that Fox is doubling down on its opinionated evening programming strategy, with three sharp-tongued men filling the prime-time hours. It’s something of a triumphant return for Watters, who got his start at the 8 p.m. hour, doing man-in-the-street interviews and other features for Bill O’Reilly before O’Reilly’s firing in 2017.

It also means double duty for Gutfeld and Watters, who are both panelists on “The Five” and will continue there. The late-afternoon political talk show has become Fox’s most popular program.

Keeping that show’s chemistry intact appeared to be a priority for Fox. Gutfeld said in a Wall Street Journal interview last week that he would no longer appear on “The Five” or do his late-night show if he were to get Carlson’s old time slot.

Trace Gallagher, who has worked at Fox since the network began in 1996, will host a news show at 11 p.m., filling the hour that Gutfeld is leaving vacant.

“The unique perspectives of Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters, Sean Hannity, and Greg Gutfeld will ensure our viewers have access to unrivaled coverage from our best-in-class team for years to come,” Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement.
