Originally set to premiere this October, Pat’s final hosting gig has been postponed until 2025.

For those who were hoping to see Pat Sajak on their screens once again, it may be a little while before this happens.

Back in July, fans of Wheel of Fortune learned the former longtime game show host would be back on the air to host his final season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Folks were going to watch him and Vanna White this fall, with the premiere episode expected to air on Monday, October 14.

Well, in a surprise turn of events, TV Insider revealed on October 11 the new season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune would not be airing on the date viewers anticipated. What’s more, the show won’t be back on the small screen until early 2025, as ABC (the network the series airs on) decided to prioritize something more timely during this period of the year.

As for the reason behind the sudden date change for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, a report from Deadline shared it’s likely due to a scheduling switch up for ABC. The network decided to add Monday Night Football to its telecast for the fall 2024, airing a total of 17 games throughout the NFL season (14 games simulcast with ESPN and/or ESPN+, including playoffs, and three exclusive games on just ABC).

While Celebrity Wheel of Fortune seemingly hasn’t addressed the surprise schedule change, it’s important to note it’s not the only show affected by the Monday Night Football switch. Both Press Your Luck and ABC News’ Scamanda were also pushed, and will now be released sometime in 2025 instead.

So, is there an official timeline of when we can see Pat back on TV again? Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact premiere date at the moment. But trust us — when we do eventually find out, we’ll be sure to keep you updated. After all, who wouldn’t want the chance to see Pat give out loads of money to celebrities playing for their favorite charities?

Let’s all keep our fingers crossed for an update soon!

[SAD NEWS] ‘Wheel of Fortune’ co-host Vanna White sparks concern from fans

‘Wheel of Fortune’ co-host Vanna White sparks concern from fans as she misses taping: ‘Who is this filling in’

White will be absent from this week’s episodes of ‘Wheel of Fortune’

Fox News Flash top entertainment headlines for October 3

Longtime co-host of “Wheel of Fortune,” Vanna White, was noticeably absent from the beloved game show, Monday.

White, 66, skipped out on a day of taping “Wheel of Fortune” due to an illness. Pat Sajak gave the audience a health update on how his co-host was feeling.

“I can’t even find my mark without her,” Sajak said. “You’ll notice Vanna is not here, and I have to say that Ms. White has tested positive for COVID. That’s the bad news.”

Wheel of Fortune Vanna White co-host

“The good news is I talked to her just a little while ago, and she feels fine. She has a little sniffle, but she tested positive and that’s the way it goes. So, she will not be here with us this week.”

White’s absence falls during the game show’s annual Teacher’s Week, airing from Oct. 2-6.

The “Wheel of Fortune” audience saw White replaced with the 2023 California Teacher of the Year, Bridgette Donald-Blue.

Fans appeared confused, as White was missing from the game show.

“Who is this filling in for Vanna, and why?” one comment read on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Another comment read, “Where the hell is Vanna White?!?!”

“vanna white MIA,” other fans noticed.

While others missed Sajak’s announcement of his co-host’s absence, others wished White a speedy recovery.

“Wow, this is my first time seeing Pat Sajak without Vanna White. Get better soon Vanna.”

In August, Fox News Digital was informed of White’s temporary absence.

While White was sick during the show’s Teachers Week, the taping of the episodes could not be rescheduled due to the academic school year starting.

In sticking to the theme of the episodes, Donald-Blue filled in for White while she recovered from COVID-19.

White’s absences marked the first time she had missed an episode in 30 years. In her 41-year reign on the show, she has been absent from “Wheel of Fortune” a total of three times.

Her missed appearance comes after Sajak’s retirement announcement and his final season on the game show. “Wheel of Fortune” has since named Ryan Seacrest as his successor.

Ryan Seacrest and Pat Sajak side by side

White extended her contract with “Wheel of Fortune” for two years as longtime host Sajak prepares to leave in 2024.

She signed a two-year contract extension as co-host of the popular game show through the 2025-26 season. Seacrest will take over for Sajak in fall 2024, according to a statement provided to Fox News Digital.

Terms of White’s new contract were not disclosed.

Sajak announced his retirement from “Wheel” in June after hosting since 1981. The program first premiered in 1975 with Chuck Woolery and Susan Stafford.

  • One of the most famous The Price Is Right games, has added a NEW TWIST that has both fans and contestants raving

One of the most famous The Price Is Right games, has added a NEW TWIST that has both fans and contestants raving

‘The Price Is Right’ Revamps Plinko With a “Golden” New Twist

    This-Is-the-Most-Expensive-Prize-on-‘The-Price-Is-Right’

One of the most famous The Price Is Right games, has added a new twist that has both fans and contestants raving. The American game show The Price Is Right is centered around contestants pricing grocery products and merchandise to win money. Some popular games on the CBS show include, Double Prices, Pay the Rent, Lunch-Bunch, and so much more. Over the years, some contestants like Cynthia Azevedo left a lasting impression on the longest running television game show by winning a million dollars in 8 seconds on the Clock Game. Meanwhile, other constraints like Corey exhibited huge failures, such as guessing that a hammock was worth about $7000.

While some games are a little more difficult to win at, there’s one game that seems to be almost everyone’s favorite and generally puts a little money in players’ pockets: Plinko. Plinko is the most popular game on the show, but it didn’t air in the series until 1983. Since then, it’s become the most widely recognized game on The Price Is Right. Its simple, yet strategic rules have allowed many contestants the opportunity of winning a few extra bucks. However, it’s a little over 40 years since the beloved game hit TV screens and the CBS crew has now up the ante with a new twist.

Plinko Is a Simple Yet Fun Game

The beloved Plinko game is simple yet effective, making it one of the best contests in the series. Most of the other games on The Price Is Right include guessing or a little more skill. So having some background knowledge of groceries, electronics, and the prices of other traditional household products is often helpful. However, Plinko is more of a strategy and statistics game. In Plinko, contestants are given a handful of balls or chips to play.

Bob Barker on 'The Price Is Right'

In some cases, they can earn more chips throughout the rest of The Price Is Right games. Then they head over to the Plinko board, which consists of pegs and slots with monetary values at the bottom. The contestants release the chips at the top of the board, they fall down, bouncing against the pegs, until they land on a monetary value at the bottom. Of course, most contestants’ goals are to hit the largest valued slot in the middle, but as long as the ball doesn’t fall into one of the two $0 spots, then contestants walk away with some change.

‘The Price Is Right’s Plinko Has a New Twist

The Plinko game was already a popular and well respected game, but now The Price Is Right has upped the scales. The premise of the game is still the same. Contestants have to strategically place the ball or chip to get it to land on the monetary value of their choosing. On a episode last month on The Price is Right, host Drew Carey explained to contestant Michelle the recent changes to Plinko. “You can win four more chips, but tonight we have a special twist to the game,” the host said. “One of the prizes has a special Golden Plinko chip attached to it. And if you get the gold Plinko chip, wherever [it] drops, we’re gonna times whatever it lands on by ten.” Meaning if the new golden chip lands in the $20,000 spot, the contestant will win $200,000 instead.

This new twist excites both contestants and fans. Sometimes, watching the same games over and over again can get boring and repetitive, even with the all-time favorites like Plinko or Stack the Deck. However, this twist adds a new spice to the game, making it more interesting for viewers to watch. At the same time, contestants have an opportunity to bring home even more money by playing an all-time favorite and simple game on the show.

In the end, the added golden chip is an interesting twist to the traditional Plinko game. Unfortunately though, it seems that, multiples might be a temporary change. In general, the golden chip is only used for a limited time as a promotional campaign to elicit more excitement or bring more awareness to a special episode, which it certainly did. Unfortunately though, The Price Is Right hasn’t announced how long the golden chip will be available and, since it’s a promotional aspect of the game show, it might not stick around forever. However, many fans hope the popular game show will keep the new and improved Plinko game for the long term.

The Price Is Right is available to stream on Paramount Plus.

Hoda Kotb’s UNEXPECTED reaction when Blake Shelton tells “I Love You” to her three times live on TV

Hoda Kotb’s Reaction to Blake Shelton Telling Her “I Love You” 3 Times Is Gold

Hoda Kotb’s five-star smile after Blake Shelton’s comment said it all.

Sometimes, things are better left said — three times, in fact.

As seen in this adorable clip from summer 2018, Hoda Kotb once held the fourth hour of TODAY alongside a very special guest co-host: The Voice legend Blake Shelton. However, the pair didn’t broadcast from the show’s usual location; instead, they were live from Shelton’s bar in Nashville, Ole Red.

Hoda Kotb's Reaction to Blake Shelton Telling Her "I Love You" 3 Times | NBC Insider

The entire episode was a country music-infused spectacle, but our favorite part will always be the show’s opening, which saw Kotb absolutely melt when Shelton told her how much he loved her.

After Kotb sweetly introduced Shelton to viewers at home, the country superstar returned the favor like only he could.

“Now can I say something?” he asked. “I’m sitting here with Hoda. I’m sitting here with Hoda! At Ole Red, my bar, this is really happening! This is like an out-of-body experience, I’ve been thinking about this forever — I’ve been dreaming about this for months.”

    “By the way,” Kotb interjected.

But Shelton wasn’t done. “I love you,” he said warmly to Kotb. “I love you. I love you.”

Kotb didn’t know what to say at that moment, but one thing’s for sure: She couldn’t stop smiling. Watch below:

“Today is my favorite day — ever!” Kotb eventually said in response. These two have such a sweet friendship!

Blake Shelton claims Hoda Kotb “ran away” from him at a Nashville party

Kotb famously admitted to having a “real, authentic crush” on Shelton during a chat with Jay Leno in 2013, which definitely explains her enthusiasm over Shelton’s praise for her five years later.

However, in true tongue-in-cheek fashion, Shelton revealed during a remote appearance on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna that Kotb missed her opportunity to connect with him by leaving a Nashville party early back in the day.

“You talked about Hoda saying I was her first love or whatever,” Shelton told Jenna Bush Hager. “I ran into her in Nashville one time. Off-camera, had nothing to do with television or anything. I thought it was going to be our moment. And she completely ran away from me. I mean she ran away from me, like, totally afraid of me.”

“She’s not leaving parties early anymore,” said Hager, to which Kotb added, “I’ve changed. I’m totally not that girl anymore.”

Kelly Ripa Reveals Relationship ‘Deal-Breaker’ in Her 28-Year Marriage to Mark Consuelos

Kelly Ripa Reveals Dealbreaker in Mark Consuelos Marriage

    Disney/Lorenzo Bevilaqua

Kelly Ripa shared what she deemed to be a relationship “deal-breaker,” revealing she would not be pleased if husband Mark Consuelos wanted to know where she was, and vice versa, after 28 years of marriage.

“The last thing I want to know is where you are at all times,” Kelly, 54, told Mark, 53, during the Tuesday, February 11, episode of Live while discussing a Wall Street Journal article about how 21 percent of couples are against location sharing.

Mark agreed, telling his wife, “I don’t need to know that. I know where you are here and that’s enough for me.” He added that he can usually be found “upstairs in [his] den” whenever Kelly wants to find him at home.

“I think it’s a little weird if somebody asks you — if you’re dating and they ask you for your location,” Mark continued. “It’s something that I think the person should offer to you. ‘Hey, I’m going to share my location with you.’”

Kelly said it would be weird if a partner “would need to know” information about her location.

“Where do they think you are though? I can tell them where you are,” she said. “To me, it’s a deal-breaker for me if you need to know where I am. I’m where I told you I am, and you don’t need to know anything.”

However, there was one time that the Live Wire author did need her husband to know where she was.

“I got lost once. I was hiking [and] I got lost,” Kelly explained. “I went hiking by myself in Colorado and he said, ‘Don’t do it,’ and I said, ‘I know where I am,’ and of course, I got lost. And Mark said, ‘Share your location with me’ and this is where it was a generational divide where I became my grandmother. Mark was like, ‘Share your location with me and I’ll guide you home,’ but I could not do that.”

What Is Your Favorite Talk Show?

The Hope and Faith alum added, “You walked me through it, but it was very stressful for us.”

The conversations took place amid the couple’s “Love Week” on Live, where they’ve played games identifying romantic phrases via emojis and had a discussion with a therapist on ways to keep the spark alive in a relationship.

One of the exercises Dr. Terri Cole suggested on the Wednesday, February 12, episode was identifying things that a couple “liked” about each other after years together.

Mark gushed how he “really really likes how smart” Kelly is and how much she “makes me laugh.”

“I honestly was going to say I can’t think of a thing I don’t like about him,” Kelly sweetly shared. “I like how grown up he is. He’s a very pragmatic person, and he’s an empath and I like all those things … and he also makes me laugh … a lot!” as the audience responded with “awws” about her answer.

Kelly and Mark went on to reveal how they have “immunity sessions,” where they agree to give honest responses to questions without the fear of the other person getting upset.

The duo has had years to craft what works best in their marriage. Kelly and Mark fell in love after meeting on the set of All My Children and eloped to Las Vegas, tying the knot on May 1, 1996.

The couple welcomed their first child, son Michael, in June 1997, followed by daughter Lola in June 2001. Kelly and Mark rounded out their family with the birth of son Joaquin in February 2003.

Jimmy Fallon begged his children to not go back to school this Fall.

The Tonight Show host , 49 — who recently met Pope Francis during his family vacation in Italy — has daughters, Winnie, 11, and Frances, nine, with his wife Nancy Juvonen and revealed that he will ‘miss’ his little girls once the summer is over.

He told People on Friday: ‘I don’t [want] them to go back to school. I don’t want them to meet other people. I don’t want them to do anything. I just want them to hang out with us for the rest of their life.’

However, the comedian noted that his daughters are more than happy to go back to school and are even looking forward to it — following on from their first time away at camp.

‘They love their school, they love their friends. And it’s another little chapter in their lives and another fun adventure. They went to camp for the first time too this year,’ he added.

He said of the publication: ‘It makes a good decoration, even if you don’t want to read. It makes a good gift if you don’t have kids, but you know kids that trick-or-treat and want to get them excited about the holiday.’

The host of The Tonight Show Jimmy Fallon has reportedly apologised to staff following allegations of a toxic workplace culture.

    Key points:

Sixteen employees shared their negative experiences of working under Jimmy Fallon with Rolling Stone
Many experienced varying mental health issues due to his alleged inconsistent and erratic behaviour
Fallon apologised over a Zoom call with staff saying, “I feel so bad”

This came after magazine Rolling Stone published a story highlighting how Fallon’s “erratic” behaviour, which trickled down to an ever-changing leadership, led to mental health issues among staff – even as far as suicidal ideation for one.

Two current and 14 former employees of the show, including production crew and writers, provided their accounts under the guise of anonymity due to “fear of retaliation”.

    How has Fallon responded?

Fallon’s representatives remained silent when asked for comments before the story was published, according to Rolling Stone.

However, Fallon had reportedly apologised to his staff in a Zoom call, hours after the story went live.

Employees who sat in the meeting told Rolling Stone that Fallon said, “It’s embarrassing and I feel so bad”.

“Sorry if I embarrassed you and your family and friends … I feel so bad I can’t even tell you.

“I want this show to be fun, it should be inclusive to everybody.

“It should be the best show.”

    What were the allegations?

Former employees described the environment as one where staff “walked on eggshells” in presence of “the worst bosses” who used their position to bully and mistreat others.

The treatment would hinge on whether Fallon was having a “good Jimmy day” or a “bad Jimmy day”.

Fallon allegedly would snap at crew members or express irritation over the smallest thing on a bad day, leaving staff at mercy of his angry “outbursts”.

Many employees reported feeling belittled and intimidated as three employees said Fallon had berated them in front of other colleagues.

Concerns had been raised with Human Resources either via complaints or during exit interviews.

However, one employee alleged that the department could not offer protection after witnessing an unfair dismissal following a complaint.

    Negative experiences overall

The workplace culture took a significant toll on employees’ mental health where many left the job as result.

According to the report, guests dressing rooms turned into “crying rooms” for employees to decompress.

Some quoted experiencing work-related nightmares and have had to sign up for regular therapy sessions to cope.

Rolling Stone claimed they also interviewed 80 additional employees.

And while many praised Fallon’s immense talent and comedic gifts, nobody had anything positive to say about working on The Tonight Show.

    What happens now?

The program is set to run until 2026, following an NBC contract renewal in 2021.

A spokesperson from the network also defended the program.

“We are incredibly proud of The Tonight Show, and providing a respectful working environment is a top priority,” the NBC spokesperson said.

“As in any workplace, we have had employees raise issues; those have been investigated and action has been taken where appropriate.

“As is always the case, we encourage employees who feel they have experienced or observed behavior inconsistent with our policies to report their concerns so that we may address them accordingly.”

Following concerns of a high turnover of showrunners, Fallon applauded current showrunner Chris Miller as a “great leader” who will not be leaving his post.

In an email addressed to employees, Mr Miller acknowledged the Rolling Stone report and said:

“While I know the reporter reached out to many of you before the piece ran, I don’t believe what’s written is reflective of the overall culture of our extraordinary team that I’m so lucky and proud to work with every day.

“The place described in the article is not the place I know.

“Still, it’s disappointing to see something published that does not capture the positive and inclusive environment I believe we have created together.”

Mr Miller also encouraged employees to raise any concerns they might have with him, their managers, or HR in the same email.

Reba McEntire Issues Emphatic PSA to Fans: ‘Please Protect Yourself’

Reba McEntire is speaking out against an apparent online scam targeting her social media followers.

Over the weekend, the 69-year-old Grammy winner issued a PSA reminding her fans to proceed with caution when using the internet. The country singer suggested that scammers have been impersonating her online and reaching out to followers to ask for payment via gift cards or electronic transfers in exchange for supposedly meeting the star.

“I and my team will NEVER correspond with you from a direct message or cell phone number asking you for money in order to meet me,” the Nov. 17 announcement shared to her official social media accounts began.

“PLEASE PROTECT YOURSELF ONLINE,” she reiterated, adding, “and do not give out any personal information, purchase gift cards or send money electronically to someone you do not know.”

The short but very serious statement was then signed by The Voice coach and shared across all of her social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).

Several social media users re-tweeted the “I’m a Survivor” songstress’ post to add their own experience with this type of fraudulent online behavior.

“Sad but true unfortunately. I have had several of those accounts send me DM’s,” one X user wrote, noting that they’ve seen an uptick since Reba released “I Can’t” earlier this year.

“Thank u for this because this is just so heartbreaking for people who actually try doing this to people. Thankfully I always knew that it wasn’t really u. But others may not have so thank u Reba for sharing this!” a second shared.

Another joked, “I knew it wasn’t you though I wouldn’t mind if it was.”

“I wish more celebrities would take the time to do this,” one more wrote on Instagram. “People are getting scammed left, right and [center].”

Along with Reba, NCIS alum Pauley Perrette also found time to address fake social media accounts impersonating her with videos and scamming those who keep up with the star. “I don’t get why anybody wants to impersonate someone else, but what I do get is that this is dangerous. And they are asking people for money. So I’m gonna say it again, y’all: I am not on Facebook,” she said in a post uploaded to Instagram this past July.

Though it’s a wildly different situation, Tom Hanks was also forced to speak out to warn fans not once but twice about promotional videos apparently using AI-generated versions of the star to push products.

All of this is to say as tech gets smarter, so do scammers, which is a scary realization. That’s why we spoke to an expert about the best ways to protect yourself and loved ones from financial scams online.

Reba McEntire Gets Great News on Additional ‘Happy’s Place’ Episodes

Less than a month after premiering on NBC, Reba McEntire’s Happy’s Place just received some great news. Deadline reports that the network has ordered three extra scripts of the multi-camera sitcom, which initially had just 13 episodes for Season 1. Fellow sitcom Lopez vs Lopez got the same treatment, which is based on ratings performance, and it’s possible that more pickups could happen in the coming weeks.

It should be pointed out that an episodic order has not been given, as networks commission additional scripts in case of back orders “as a way to keep the writers rooms working.” The script order is not so surprising for Happy’s Place, which comes from the Reba producing team. The sitcom has brought in 4 million linear Live+Same Day viewers, which reached 10 million cross-platform viewers within a week and was even the best new comedy launch on Peacock.

Created by Kevin and Julie Abbott, Happy’s Place centers on McEntire’s Bobbie, who inherits her late father’s tavern, only to find out that her new business partner, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), is a twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had.

The series also stars McEntire’s Reba co-star Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk, and Rex Linn. McEntire, Kevin Abbott, Mindy Schultheis, Michael Hanel, Pamela Fryman, and Matt Berry serve as executive producers.

The country superstar has been quite busy on NBC. Aside from Happy’s Place, Reba McEntire has been pulling double duty as a coach on The Voice for Season 26. She won’t be a coach for Season 27, however, after joining the series for Season 25.

While she initially debunked rumors of her exiting, NBC later confirmed that she would, in fact, be departing, at least for now. It’s unknown if she will be returning in the future, but working on two shows plus her music and likely other projects might just be too much for her. At the very least, since both Happy’s Place and The Voice are on NBC, there’s always the chance she can swing by the singing competition series.

It shouldn’t be long until Happy’s Place gets an official extended episodic order, but fans will just have to be patient. In the meantime, new episodes air on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, and there is still quite a lot to look forward to.
