Vanna White Finally Speaks Out: The Truth About the Seacrest Conflict

Vanna White Breaks Silence On Ryan Seacrest Conflict Rumors

Vanna White and Ryan Seacrest - YouTube

Recently, there has been talk about Wheel Of Fortune‘s new host, Ryan Seacrest, and veteran assistant, Vanna White, struggling during filming. While it is expected that anyone following in Pat Sajak’s footsteps will experience growing pains, this seems to be more. However, Vanna breaks her silence on the conflict rumors.

    Growing Pains

Undeniably, Wheel Of Fortune is going through a huge transition. Reportedly, while Vanna White is expecting things to be a little rocky, there have been moments she questions if she should have retired with Pat Sajak. Since Pat’s leaving, it seems like there has been some division between the new host, Ryan Seacrest, and the longtime letter-turning queen, Vanna. Without a doubt, the growing pains of training a new host, after the tried and true work of having the same host for more than forty years, has to be grueling. However, Vanna sends a message as the rumors swirl about their behind-the-scenes beef.

Vanna White Breaks Silence On Ryan Seacrest Conflict Rumors

On July 9, Vanna White posted a photo of her and Ryan Seacrest breaking bread together. She captions: “Friends on and off camera. Enjoying one of our favorites, Chicken and Dumplings!” In the photo, they both lean toward each other and smile for the camera while holding spoonfuls of chicken and dumplings. Amid all the rumors of work conflict, the two seem to be finding common ground by sharing a meal. Seemingly, this is Vanna’s way of showing there is peace between them as she clarifies their “on and off camera” friendship. Both Vanna and Ryan are filming their first season together for the fall. Furthermore, time will tell how the new duo works together on the Wheel Of Fortune stage.

Fans Aren’t Sure About Vanna White’s Statements

However, after Vanna White posted the photo, not everyone was convinced by her statement. Several Wheel Of Fortune fans left comments.

“There’s no f-in way Vanna can stand Ryan. He’s a massive phony.”
“I don’t think i can believe anything I read in the news anymore!!! Last week I read that they can’t stand each other, and she is thinking about retiring because she doesn’t like how Ryan does the show. They look happy here.”
“Very disappointed that Wheel of Fortune chose Ryan Sescrest as Pat’s replacement. There is plenty talent to choose from. Even an unknown would have been better.”
But one fan thinks Vanna White and Ryan Seacrest need to go. “I will not be watching wheel of Fortune ever again – I absolutely cannot stand fakey Ryan Seacrest, and it’s absolutely time for Vanna to retire.”
“I have a gut feeling that he will be unkind to Vanna and push her out. He’s sketchy.”

‘Jeopardy!’ host Ken Jennings ripped for ‘extremely problematic’ sexist clue, apologizes to female player

The questionable ‘Jeopardy!’ phrase was from famous female poet Dorothy Parker

Erin Buker recently earned the second-lowest winnings of any contestant in the history of “Jeopardy!,” something she called an “out-of-body experience.”

“Jeopardy!” fans are heavily criticizing host Ken Jennings for a “sexist” clue.

During Monday night’s episode, the “Jeopardy!” category “Complete the Rhyming Phrase” quickly turned the game into an awkward situation.

When Jennings read the clue, “Men seldom make passes at…”,  returning champion Will Wallace correctly answered, “Girls who wear glasses.”

Jennings recognized the prompt may have made female contestant Heather Ryan uncomfortable since she wore glasses on the show.

“A little problematic, sorry, Heather,” Jennings remarked.

“Jeopardy!” champion Wallace chimed in and added, “Very,” as he defended the female contestant.

Game show fans were quick to react to the tense situation on social media.

“‘Yeah, a little problematic’ – Ken… Um, then why didn’t you bring that up to the writers before the game?” one comment read on X.

Another viewer wrote, “More like extremely problematic!”

“Frankly, I don’t need to hear Ken read an obviously outdated and inappropriate clue and then call it ‘problematic,’” a fan wrote on Reddit. “Maybe he can use his position to get it switched out before it goes out over the air.”

While another “Jeopardy!” viewer added on X, “Still angry about this. She’s used her intelligence to get on here, only to be insulted by a sexist and rude comment.”

“Jeopardy!” fans recently blamed Jennings for robbing a contestant after a “messy” answer.

Earlier this month, during a “Final Jeopardy!” round, players were faced with the category “College Towns.”

Jennings read the prompt, “Two schools in the Southeastern Conference are located in cities with this same name but in different states.”

A contestant named Rishabh, an Illinois native who is currently a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania, played against environmental attorney Jay Eversman and associate professor Rachel Cassidy.

Two contestants, Rishabh and Rachel, both answered correctly with “What is Columbia?”.

However, game show fans were quick to call out Jennings’ ruling and argued that the winner’s answer was “totally illegible.”

Rishabh’s written answer to “Columbia,” appeared to some to be simply a jumble of letters. The original answer he jotted down was also scribbled out.

Meanwhile, Rachel’s answer to “Columbia” was easier to read on screen.

But since Rishabh wagered $9,801, he took home $20,201 for his two-day win.

Drew Carey is always ready to give contestants on The Price Is Right some friendly advice about the games.

However, during a recent episode, he also offered a friendly suggestion to a contestant about his future career.

Drew, 66, is a former comedian and actor who has since moved comfortably to his role as game show host.

According to a recent highlight clip from The Price Is Right, viewers may have seen a “future star” on the show.

Drew met a contestant, Malcolm, who was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and said, “New York raised [him].”

Malcolm told Drew he was visiting the area and had “a quick table read” for an unspecified potential acting role, which piqued Drew’s curiosity.

Drew told TPIR contestant: ‘Act like you love money’

“Oh, what’s up, future star?” Drew joked to Malcolm, who replied he was “just working.”

“Well, act like you love money because we’ve got a pretty nice prize here,” Drew joked as Malcolm laughed at the host’s witty remark.

Announcer George Gray revealed Malcolm would play for a chance to win $10,000 in cash while on The Price Is Right.

He played the Half Off game, which involved correctly choosing which of two items’ prices on their tags was “half-off” the actual price.

For each pair he guessed correctly, half of the 16 boxes on stage would be removed, giving Malcolm an easier chance to pick the one containing the $10,000.

Malcolm correctly chose all three half-off prices, which included a fan, a massager, and a vacuum sealer.

Since he had all three correct, he would automatically receive $1,000. However, he was down to two boxes and had to pick one for the potential $10,000 prize. One of the two boxes was empty.

“Can you give me a hint?” Malcolm asked the host, trying to get some help.

“I wish I could, but I have no idea,” he told him.

Malcolm chose the No. 2 box, which model Devin Goda carried over to him.

Drew gave him a three-count, and Malcolm lifted the lid and saw wads of cash inside, giving him the $10,000 win.

Devin approached to high-five him on the win as fellow model Alexis Gaube walked over. She and Malcolm threw some money into the air to make it rain in a celebratory fashion.

Drew Carey could be among a big movie sequel’s guest stars

Drew Carey rose to fame as a standup comedian and then on television. He starred as a fictionalized version of himself in the sitcom The Drew Carey Show.

Other TV roles included Drew appearing in one-episode appearances for NCIS, Community, and American Housewife. In 1994, he appeared as Drew Clark in 13 episodes of The Good Life.

He’s appeared as himself in most roles and starred on the improv sketch show Whose Line Is It Anyway? Drew could return to the screen in a special cameo role.

Earlier this year, Monsters and Critics reported that fellow actor and comedian Adam Sandler spoke about getting Drew to appear in Happy Gilmore 2.

“That would be great. I would love Drew Carey to be in this movie out of respect to Bob,” Sandler told Dan Patrick during an interview segment.

In the original Happy Gilmore, the late great Bob Barker appeared in a funny cameo role as himself and got into a fight with Sandler’s character, Happy.

“The price is wrong, b***h,” Happy told Barker after seemingly knocking him out.

However, Barker got back on his feet and fought Happy more, knocking him down with a punch.

“I think you’ve had enough,” Barker told him but noticed he was still conscious and knocked him out with a kick.

“Now you’ve had enough, b***h,” Barker said before walking off.

As of this writing, Happy Gilmore 2 doesn’t have an official premiere date, aside from March 2025 on Netflix.

It’s unclear if Carey will appear in the anticipated sequel, although several guest stars will, including NFL star Travis Kelce, who Sandler seemingly confirmed would get a cameo role.

Joy Behar Reveals Co-Host’s Past ‘Lesbian Relationship’ On ‘The View’

Sometimes, even a seasoned host like Joy Behar can stir the pot a bit too vigorously.

On the Wednesday, October 30 episode of The View, the 82-year-old comedian let slip a bit of personal history about co-host Sara Haines that even Haines’ parents, seated in the audience, weren’t ready to hear.

Joy Behar Joy Behar attends a discussion of the View’s “Behind the Table” podcast at 92NY on October 08, 2024 in New York City. A few weeks later, Behar spilled the beans about co-host Sara Haines’ past…  Gary Gershoff/Getty Images
As Whoopi Goldberg introduced Sara’s parents, special guests Sandy and Dick Haines, in the studio, Behar didn’t miss a beat. “Are you going to bring up that lesbian relationship you said you had or not?” she blurted out, adding, “Back at Smith [College]!” The camera quickly cut to the 47-year-old journalist’s parents, capturing their less-than-amused expressions.

Caught in a mix of laughter and embarrassment, Sara — who graduated from Smith in 2002 — responded with a quick, “Dad, earmuffs! Earmuffs!” The rest of the co-hosts, including Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sunny Hostin, appeared equally surprised. Griffin, 35, noted, “That was off-air she told us that,” to which Hostin, 56, pointed out, “Now, it’s on-air.”

Sara then quipped, “It’s a good thing my dad doesn’t always watch,” to which Whoopi, 68, responded, “Now he will.”

Shortly after the on-air segment, it didn’t take long for fans to chime in with their two cents.

“Hey, Joy… There are good people out here who do not talk about people’s sex lives for sport and personal aggrandizement. You are trash. Full on trash,” one person posted on X (formerly Twitter).

“you’re shameless @joybehar for your remarks in front of @sarahaines ‘ parents. she has 3 kids too. i used think you were funny. no more,” another user remarked.

A third person referred to the star as “two-faced.”

The Price Is Right host Drew Carey reminded his co-star on stage of a previous job, and fans called out what they deemed a savage comment.

The 66-year-old game show host often jokes with people on stage, such as recently joking about marrying a contestant.

While on stage, Drew often works alongside various models, including Amber Lancaster, Rachel Reynolds, Alexis Gaube, Devin Goda, and Manuela Arbelaez.

They help present the various games, reveal prices, and celebrate exciting wins with contestants.

A recent episode featured Let It Roll and a woman attempting to win a brand-new car with some luck.

Many fans reacted to Drew’s comment during the highlight moment from The Price Is Right.

Drew mentioned TPIR model’s previous work during the game show

On The Price Is Right’s Let It Roll, a contestant, Michele, had five die to roll down a giant slide.

The game’s main objective is for a contestant to roll all five die and reveal a car symbol on them to win the car. Alternatively, the die could reveal cash amounts.

After her first roll, she had three car symbols. The other two die revealed $1,000 each.

With that, Drew informed her she could walk away with $2,000 or try to roll the two die again and get car symbols.

“I’ll roll again,” she said as the crowd cheered to encourage her.

“She’s gonna roll again. Thank you, Manuela,” Drew said as she collected the two die to give to Michele for another roll.

“Manuela used to work in a casino in Colombia,” Drew said, chuckling before adding, “When she was young.”

“She can’t talk about it,” the host joked as Michele rolled again.

The die went down the shoot, and both came up with car symbols, making Michele a winner.

“Yes! You got a car! Go get it!” Drew shouted.

He high-fived Manuela near the game to celebrate the contestant’s big win.

Fans called out Drew for roasting TPIR model on TV: ‘Show some respect’!

While many viewers celebrated the contestant winning a new car, others mentioned Drew roasting The Price Is Right model.

“He has beef with Manuela,” a commenter suggested in the Instagram comments.

A commenter replied, “For real! ‘When she was young’” with a skull emoji.

Another commenter replied, “People need to stop making fun of Manuela Arbelaez when she’s on TPIR. “

“This man just roasting Manuela for no reason,” another individual commented.

“Why the f*** would you say that about Manuela,” someone replied.

Another commenter replied, “Manuela is a SAINT! He needs to show some damn respect!”

Manuela, 36, was born in Colombia and became a naturalized American. Manuela also competed in The Price Is Right Model search in 2008. While she wasn’t the winner, production liked her enough to make her a permanent model for the game show in 2009.

That’s two years after Drew officially took over for the late, great Bob Barker. It’s unclear if there truly is any “beef” between Drew and Manuela on the show, as they’ve been working together for 15 years.

The Price is Right host Drew Carey made an interesting wisecrack at the expense of the beloved model Manuela Alvarez during a recent segment. And fans were at a loss, even if it was all in good fun.

In a clip shared by the game show’s Instagram on Wednesday (November 6), a player named Michelle played the Let ‘Em Roll game. The game involves dropping five giant dice from atop a slide. If all five land on the side with a car picture, the player wins the new whip.

Michelle dropped the dice, landing on three cars and two $1,000 sides. Carey explained that she could roll the two $1000 dice again and “try to get two more cars” or walk away with the $2,000. Michelle decided to risk it for the car prize and roll again.

Alvarez, who was glistening in a gold gown, brought the contestant the dice for her second roll. After thanking her, Carey joked, “Manuela used to work in a casino in Colombia.” He specified, “Back when she was young.” Alvarez, who is Colombian, shook off the comment and smiled with a shrug as Carey added, “She can’t talk about it.”

Michelle went on to drop her two remaining dice, which both landed on the car side, so she won the flashy new car. As she rushed over to her prize in joy, Carey gave Alvarez a high-five handshake to ensure there were no hard feelings.

In the comments section of the clip, fans celebrated the big win and expressed their surprise at Carey’s joke, wondering what Alvarez did to deserve the shade.

“This man just roasting Manuela for no reason,” the top comment read with 300 likes.

“Why the fu** would you say that about Manuela,” wrote another.

“Manuela is a SAINT! He needs to show some damn respect!” wrote a third.

“He has beef with Manuela,” joked a fourth.

“For real! ‘When she was young,’” replied a fifth.

Alvarez, however, also chimed into the comments section. Playing into the joke and making clear she wasn’t offended, she wrote, “Shhh” with a laughing emoji.

Meanwhile, if Carey can get overly casual with any TPIR model, it’s Alvarez. She joined the game show in 2009, two years after he took over for Bob Barker in 2007. She’s become a favorite among fans, and she boasts a winning resume.

Her bio from the game show’s website is as follows: “Born in Medellín, Colombia, she moved to the United States in 2006. She was a finalist in The Price Is Right Model Search of 2008, which is when she gained the attention of the show’s producers. Eventually, she was added into the rotation of regular models.

In addition to her role on The Price Is Right, Manuela has appeared on television’s The Bold and the Beautiful and in the motion picture Jack and Jill. She is featured in Diddy/Dirty Money’s music video for “Loving You No More,” and can also be seen in Robin Thicke’s music video “It’s in the Mornin’.” She was a Trophy Model at the 54th Grammy Awards and was named the number one Hottest Game Show Eye Candy by Complex Magazine.”

Wheel of Fortune Vanna White’s facing a difficult time in her life, and it makes her fans very sad

Vanna White’s childhood home threatened by 1-block road extension

Twenty-three-year-old Johnny White is already a proud homeowner in North Myrtle Beach.

He planned to keep the home forever when he purchased it about two years ago.

Vanna White's childhood home threatened in North Myrtle SC | News | myhorrynews.com

But the investment he hoped to keep for his whole life — and Vanna White’s childhood home — may be threatened by a RIDE 4 project on the horizon.

The humble two-bedroom bungalow on Madison Drive could be in the direct path of a road extension, meaning its potential demolition.

The Possum Trot Road extension is a one-block road extension which is on the RIDE 4 project list approved by voters in November. The extension of the road across Highway 17 could lead to right-of-way acquisition and the demolition of two small businesses and two small homes.

Vanna White's childhood home threatened in North Myrtle SC | News | myhorrynews.com

White didn’t learn that his home was threatened until after RIDE 4 was approved by voters and he saw a news article on Facebook mentioning the project.

Vanna White, the nationally recognized and longtime co-host of the gameshow Wheel of Fortune, lived in the house Johnny now lives in when she was young.

Vanna (no relation to Johnny), visited North Myrtle Beach last year when she took fans to various locations in the city she grew up in, including Hoskin’s restaurant on Main Street and her elementary school on a tour in a double-decker bus. She also visited the house on Madison Drive.

“Vanna was on the top of it with like 50 of her fans on the tour bus waving as they drove by. They stopped in front and camera crews came out and Vanna came and talked with me for a little bit. They asked me a few questions on camera. Then she came inside without any cameras and looked around,” Johnny said. “She remembered the wood beams and everything about it. She has a picture of her when she was probably two or three years old in front of the house. I helped her recreate that picture.”

A tentative drawing of the project on the RIDE 4 website shows Possum Trot Road extending straight across Highway 17 and connecting to Madison Drive. An aerial view of the intersection shows that two houses and two businesses – Noah’s Ark Baby Shop and No Nuts Ice Cream – would be in the path of the project.

The one-block road extension is estimated to cost $23 million, according to an estimate made by SCDOT.

One-block road extension could displace North Myrtle Beach business

Though the exact route has not been finalized and there are still many steps to take until the project breaks ground, North Myrtle Beach Public Works Director Kevin Blayton said the Possum Trot Road extension would “be done in one form or another.”

The Possum Trot project was listed on the “year 6-10” timeframe on the November ballot.

Blayton said the decision on which entity will manage the project is yet to be made and that during the project evaluation, alternative routes will be considered.

Vanna White Says She and Pat Sajak Have ‘Never Had a Fight’ During 35 Years of Wheel of Fortune

Johnny and his parents, John White and Lorrie White, say they feel trapped while they stand in limbo not knowing the future of the house.

“We were told it could be four to five years [before we know],” John said. “But that doesn’t help, because what does that do to Johnny and his house? It’s like holding him hostage in his house. He can’t do anything. If you think it’s going to be torn down in four years, you can’t add on to your house, you don’t want to repaint or make improvements because what’s the point if they just tear it down?”

John and Lorrie said they are proud of their son, who makes a living playing music at local venues and was able to purchase a house at the age of 21 with his parents being cosigners.

For his mother who has seen her son succeed as a young adult, it’s especially frustrating to think of the possibility of Johnny’s house being taken by eminent domain.

“He’s done everything right,” Lorrie said. “He’s entrepreneurial. He saved up. He bought a house, paid cash for his truck. He’s got this lucrative music business and a great setup for his house, not only as a living space but as a business spot with a studio. So he set it up just right, and to not even be notified is just beyond infuriating. I just can’t get over it.”

Johnny said he felt “kind of insulted” when he found out.

He’d planned to keep his house on Madison Drive for his whole life, eventually planning to rent it out when he decided to upsize or if he wanted to move somewhere else to further pursue music.

But now, his main worry is not losing money on his first big purchase, which was made using a 30-year mortgage.

“I’m paying majority interest right now on my loan. So in the last two years, I’ve paid probably 70 grand in mortgage and I’ve put maybe $10,000 into principal. The rest is interest,” Johnny said.

The Possum Trot Road Extension is one of many items on the RIDE 4 project list, which is funded by a 1% transportation tax that will continue for 25 years.

RIDE 4 projects are expected to cost more than $6.5 billion combined. The list of projects was determined by a sales tax commission made up of three Horry County appointees and one appointee each from Conway, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.

City Councilman Jay Baldwin, the North Myrtle Beach representative on the commission, said the main intention of the project was for golf cart travel.

“The Possum Trot Road extension was one of the many projects in the city limits that were included in the Ride IV project list and is intended primarily to facilitate golf cart crossings in the area,” Baldwin said.

“Many residents prefer to travel by golf cart when making short trips and we want to do everything we can to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow for all motorists. After much discussion with engineers and members of the SCDOT it was determined that a full four-way stop is the best way to enhance safety, help with connectivity and reduce traffic on crowded streets like Anne Street, 6th Avenue North and Highway 17.”

Those potentially affected by the project say increasing golf cart access is not worth the destruction of homes and businesses – and the history.

“The main significance of this is when you drive into the city, it says hometown of Vanna White, and this is the home they’re referring to,” Johnny said. “So I think it’s ironic that they would consider tearing it down when that’s on their welcome sign.”

[$H0CKING] ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contestant Knocks Ryan Seacrest To The Ground

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contestant Nearly Knocks Ryan Seacrest Over

Ryan Seacrest has been the subject of much discussion among Wheel of Fortune fans ever since he stepped in as host of the game show in September 2024, but this time, it’s something a contestant did that has viewers talking.

Seacrest, 50, was visibly startled after Ricky Brown, the winning contestant on the Wednesday, January 15 episode of Wheel, grabbed and hugged him while jumping in celebration and almost knocking the host to the ground.

Brown, from Easton, Pennsylvania, went up against Karen Morgan and Lisa McDaniel during the episode, where he stood out not only for guessing puzzles correctly but also for his enthusiastic demeanor on the show.

Ryan Seacrest Brown had a solid run during the game and eventually answered the Speed Up puzzle correctly. He entered the Bonus Round with a total of $24,000 in winnings, selecting the “Phrase” category and choosing “B, F, M, and A.” This left him with a puzzle that read: “AS / _ _ _ / _ _ S _.” As soon as the ten-second timer started, Brown shouted and correctly guessed, “As you wish!” That’s when a startled Seacrest confirmed the answer and said, “Yes! You got it!” before asking, “How did you do that?” The contestant, barely able to contain his excitement, grabbed the host in celebration. Still appearing slightly alarmed, Seacrest revealed that Brown had won an additional $40,000, bringing his total winnings to an impressive $64,000.

Fans of the beloved game show have been sharing their reactions to the enthusiastic episode winner and his celebratory moment with Seacrest in the comments section of a video posted on Instagram.

“Happiest Wheel of Fortune contestant I’ve seen and brought a smile to my face the whole show! ,” wrote one user. A second noted, “Awww he was so cute! He was having so much fun!,” while a third praised the hosts of the show and wrote, ” Love it! Best show ever. Good work, Ryan and Vanna.”

Fans recently criticized Seacrest after a controversial ruling during the Friday, January 10 episode.

He faced backlash for accepting an answer from a contestant who said, “Is it,” before submitting their guess. Despite the criticism, Seacrest has proven to be a solid replacement for Pat Sajak, who retired in 2024 after over 40 years as host of Wheel.

Wheel of Fortune' Announcer Reveals What Pat Sajak Was Like

Rich Fields was one of the announcers on Wheel of Fortune following Charlie O’Donnell’s death in 2010 and had nothing but great things to say about his time working with Pat Sajak and Vanna White.

“[They were] gracious, welcoming from the get-go,” Fields revealed on the Come On Big Money podcast. “Their attitude and personality interactions with me never changed from show number one to show number 58, or however many I did with them. [They’re] just really giving, professional people.”

Fields was called in to temporarily replace O’Donnell the day after the show’s longtime announcer died on November 1, 2010. He was greeted warmly by Sajak. “Pat even said to me the very first day when I met him in his dressing room, ‘We all understand you’re coming in under very difficult circumstances, so just go ahead and do your best and make Charlie proud,’” he recalled.

He went on to serve as announcer for 55 episodes, but the permanent position was eventually given to Jim Thornton in June 2011. Thornton is still the show’s announcer to this day. O’Donnell was with the show from 1975 until 1980, when he briefly took another job before returning to Wheel in 1989. He stayed on as MC until his death. Meanwhile, Fields previously worked with both Bob Barker and Drew Carey when he served as announcer on The Price Is Right from 2004 to 2010.

During his tenure on Wheel of Fortune, Fields didn’t witness any major puzzle blunders or fails. However, he said he has a distinct memory of his first live taping.

“It was the very first introduction of Pat and Vanna and I’d only heard it on TV from Charlie, but I don’t think I ever said it myself,” Fields explained. “And I got to say, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, Pat Sajak and Vanna White!’ As soon as I got done doing that, they’re walking out, and Mr. Sajak was like, as clear as a bell, ‘Thank you Rich. Rich Fields, our guest announcer today.’ And, God, it was just like … holy mackerel. I forgot about Pat always saying, ‘Thank you, Charlie.’ Just to hear him say my name was surreal for me.”

    On Pause

Deadline broke the news about the future of Price Is Right. CBS paused production on the game show as of Thursday, January 9. At this moment, production is still halted due to the Los Angeles wildfires. The fires have affected numerous areas, including the Pacific Palisades, Eaton, Malibu, and Altadena. Twenty-four lives were claimed due to the fires in Eaton and Palisades.

Currently, most shows that include live audiences are on pause. However, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! returned on Monday, January 13. The late-night talk show film tapings at the El Capitan in Hollywood. Meanwhile, The Price Is Right films at the Haven Studios in Glendale. It’s unclear how this will affect previously scheduled episodes. The effects could be felt in the next few months unless it’s a temporary decision.

    Move To Glendale

In September 2024, the CBS game show moved to Glendale, reported The Los Angeles Times. For over 50 years, the iconic game show was filmed at Television City. This was a major change for everyone involved, including host Drew Carey. There was no other option. Scheduled renovations were being made at Television City, forcing the cast and crew to relocate.

The estimated renovations could cost $1.25 billion. Price Is Right has undergone many changes since then. The show expanded with more primetime versions and holiday specials in an effort to promote CBS’s other game shows. This isn’t the first schedule shakeup. The show took over The Talk’s 2:00 p.m. EST timeslot. The daytime show was canceled to make way for the new soap, Beyond The Gates, which premieres on Monday, February 24.
