With big prizes on the line, everything isn’t fun and games on “The Price is Right,” and things do get a bit competitive in the energetic environment where emotions run high. Although it’s mostly the contestants who are competing, sometimes the spirit also rubs off on the cast members. During one such episode, popular models Rachel Reynolds and Amber Lancaster seemed to display something of a rivalry. Of course, it was all in the spirit of fun, but the fans loved their competitive side.

It started when Reynolds was presenting a camera as a prize, and there were three framed pictures, one each of Reynolds and Lancaster and one of the host, Drew Carey. As the model presented the camera, Lancaster’s picture fell off and hit the floor. “I did not do that. I didn’t touch it, I swear,” she said. But her co-worker wasn’t impressed. “I know where your dressing room is,” Lancaster said. “You’re gonna get it.”
Screenshot showing Rachel Reynolds after she dropped Amber Lancaster's photo on Screenshot showing Rachel Reynolds after she dropped Amber Lancaster’s photo on “The Price is Right” (Image source: YouTube | priceisright)
It was then time for the models to present a ping pong table, and this is where things got a bit heated. Lancaster was seen playing ping pong solo while Reynolds stood beside her with an exasperated look on her face. It seemed like she was bored and wanted to play, but her fellow model was simply not in the mood to stop what she was doing.
Screenshot showing Rachel Reynolds and Amber Lancaster on Screenshot showing Rachel Reynolds and Amber Lancaster on “The Price is Right” (Image credit: YouTube | priceisright)
Lancaster then pushed Reynolds out of frame to be front and center for the camera in a later segment, and the latter did not seem happy. Towards the end of the show, Lancaster dropped a picture of Reynolds and said, “Oops.” It seemed more intentional than accidental, and her co-worker proceeded to playfully grab her by the throat. However, everything was okay between the two of them as all of this was part of the show.

Such antics aside, models seem to have good relationships with each other in good as well as bad times. Some of these bad times, however, can leave one red-faced on national television. That’s what happened when Rachel Reynolds and Manuela Arbelaez came out to present a brand-new plasma TV and an X-Box gaming console in an earlier episode of the show. In an attempt to point out the prize, both models knocked the TV over simultaneously.

It fell down, and the screen was smashed to pieces. This was not a scripted moment, and host Drew Carey did not seem happy about it. The crowd loved it, though, and announcer George Gray did his level best to lighten the mood in what seemed like a tense situation. “It’s a new plasma TV and a new X-Box system,” he said. After the TV was knocked down, the announcer only said, “A new X-Box system.”

Fans watching at home also loved the moment, and it was clear in the comments on YouTube. “The announcer immediately changing the reward, Drew glaring, and the audience cheering makes this clip a gold,” one user commented. “The fact that the audience cheered even louder after the TV was knocked over makes it even better,” added another.

The environment on the sets of “The Price is Right” is always energetic and competitive, but emotions also run high, and over-the-top celebrations by contestants are a manifestation of that. Things also got sentimental in an earlier episode of “The Price is Right,” when one of the long-time members of the team said goodbye and parted ways. This person was like a mentor to Carey, and the host could not help but shed tears as he bid farewell.

This person’s name was Scott Robinson, and he was the one who played the role of contestant as Carey was learning the games in his early days as the host of the show. The two worked together for countless hours and developed a strong bond. The host was used to seeing Robinson on set, so his departure was a big deal. When it was time to say goodbye, the emotions were just too much to be contained.

Screenshot showing an emotional Scott Robinson on Screenshot showing an emotional Scott Robinson on “The Price is Right” (Image source: YouTube | priceisright)
“When I first started the show and I was learning all the games, Scott was my contestant for every single game. He taught me every single game on The Price is Right, all 70-plus of them. He knows everything about ‘The Price is Right’ there is. I love this guy so much, and this is his last show. I love you so much,” he said while choking up. The two embraced each other immediately afterward, showcasing their love for each other.

Fans loved the moment and let their feelings be known in the comments section on YouTube. “Aw, that was sweet. I’m sure Drew saw him as a kind of mentor and valued him as friend. Props to Drew for being a real man and showing actual emotion,” one user commented. “Awww, that’s so endearing. It’s nice to see people not afraid to show they give a crap about someone else,” another added.

This is not the only emotional moment Carey has shared on the set of “The Price is Right.” On one occasion, he made a young fan’s dreams come true. That was pretty emotional to watch as well. The young man’s name was Carter and he was a big fan of the show. He showed a lot of composure to be on that stage in front of all those people. Carter even had a letter that he had written for the veteran host.

“How are you feeling? I went to CBS Studios with my mom, I watched people play games, we did everything I wanted…I watched them play The Price is Right…this is a letter of the future. We did so much stuff together, I wish I could watch the Showcase Showdown and spin the wheel. It was so cool. I hope you write me back soon. Your friend, Carter,” Carey said as he read the letter out loud.

He then proceeded to hug Carter, which drew a loud reaction from the studio audience. “God bless Drew Carey,” one user commented. Moments like these have made “The Price is Right” one of the most loved shows in the country today.

Suits Star Rick Hoffman Returning as Louis Litt on NBC Spinoff

Rick Hoffman is bringing some Louis Litt energy to Suits LA.

The actor, who starred in all nine seasons of the original USA Network drama, will reprise his role in an episode of the NBC offshoot, TVLine has confirmed.

Suits LA': Rick Hoffman Returning as Louis Litt on NBC Spinoff

Hoffman is expected to appear in just one episode, but the door is open for him to return if the series is renewed for Season 2, according to our sister site Deadline, which first reported the news. He will be the second cast member from the OG Suits to grace the spinoff: As previously announced, Gabriel Macht has booked a three-episode arc as charming prosecutor-turned-corporate lawyer Harvey Specter. Hoffman and Macht’s episodes will not overlap, per Deadline.

Suits and Suits LA creator Aaron Korsh recently told TVLine that Macht is just the beginning when it comes familiar faces on the new show.

“Harvey is not the only Suits original character that we’re going to see this season. There will be at least one other original Suits character. I’m not going to say at what level,” Korsh revealed.

Korsh added that his goal is to have any cast members from the USA Network drama — which also starred Patrick J. Adams, Meghan Markle, Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty, among others — “pop up, as organically as possible, and not flood the show with a parade of old Suits characters.”

“I know that’s what fans want, but I feel like if it’s just a parade of old Suits characters, it would sort of harm the new franchise,” Korsh continued, “and I don’t think it would do a lot of favors to the old franchise either.”

Suits' Star Rick Hoffman Sets Return In 'Suits: LA'

As for Harvey’s upcoming appearance, he will be seen in the flashback timeline before he, eventually, pops up in the present and, hopefully, reconnects with Stephen Amell’s character, entertainment lawyer Ted Black.

“Ted was a prosecutor in New York at the time that Harvey was working in New York, so they, clearly, would’ve known each other,” Korsh shared. “Now, they didn’t work in the same office. Ted was a U.S. Attorney, but Harvey was in the District Attorney’s office. So what I came up with was they both played in this prosecutors’ league baseball team.”

Suits LA airs Sundays at 9/8c on NBC.

Season 3 Trailer Teases a Deadly Clash With Parker’s Nemesis… and Hardison’s Exit?

The con is back on when Leverage: Redemption Season 3 arrives next month, and it appears the team will have their hands full with international escapades, the return of at least one nemesis, and a possible exit.

Season 3 of the caper drama (which previously streamed on Freevee) will premiere Thursday, April 17, with the first three episodes of 10, followed by weekly drops. And in the first trailer above, Parker (played by Beth Riesgraf) has a potentially deadly reunion with arch nemesis Astrid (Alexandra Park).

Leverage: Redemption Season 3 Trailer Teases a Deadly Clash With Parker's Nemesis… and Hardison's Exit?

We also see Hardison wondering if he can do this job anymore — which would jibe with portrayer Aldis Hodge’s own busy work schedule. (The actor told TVLine that fans once again “might not get enough” of Hardison “because I was little occupied shooting Season 2 of Cross” this past summer.)

Similarly, the equally busy Noah Wyle recently told TVLine that he was unable to write or direct any of Leverage Season 3, as he was readying Max’s The Pitt for production.

In Leverage: Redemption Season 3, Sophie/The Grifter (Gina Bellman), Eliot/The Hitter (Christian Kane), Parker/The Thief (Riesgraf), Hardison/The Hacker (Hodge), Breanna/The Maker (Aleyse Shannon) and Harry/The Fixer (Noah Wyle) will contend with “a power broker stealing the clean water under people’s feet and turning it into dirty money, fight a mayor who’s literally the judge and jury of his small town, outrun a mark who’s finally caught up with them mid-con, out-hustle a pool hustler with a side business in extortion, and bring down an industrialist exploiting child labor,” the official synopsis tells us. “All this while dodging an intricate plan of vengeance from a past enemy and working through the fallout of their new personal relationships.”

Gina Bellman as Sophie — 'Leverage: Redemption' Season 3

Guest stars on tap for Leverage: Redemption Season 3 include, as TVLine previously scooped, Rachael Harris (Lucifer) and Auden Wyle (back as Harry’s daughter), plus Jack Coleman (Heroes), Drew Powell (Gotham), Alex Boniello (Ghosts‘ Crash), Cedric Yarbrough (The Goldbergs), Mary Hollis Inboden (The Righteous Gemstones) and Sam Witwer (Smallville).

Christian Kane as Eliot — 'Leverage: Redemption' Season 3

John Rogers came on board as showrunner for Season 3, and executive-produced with fellow co-creator Chris Downey plus Dean Devlin, Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson.

The prognosis for Fox‘s Doc is excellent.

With just two episodes left to air this season, the Molly Parker-led freshman medical drama has been renewed for a Season 2 chockablock with 22 episodes.

Season-to-date, Doc is averaging 4.5 million total viewers (with delayed playback), besting the cancelled nad recently ended 9-1-1: Lone Star to rank as Fox’s most-watched entertainment program of the 2024-25 TV season.

“We are thrilled that audiences have embraced Season 1 of Doc,” Fox network president Michael Thorn said in a statement. “[Showrunner] Barbie [Steinberg] and [executive producer] Hank [Steinberg] have done an outstanding job bringing one of the most emotionally powerful series on television to life. Renewing for a second season was an easy decision, thanks to this incredible team, our partners at Sony, and an exceptional cast, led by the talented Molly Parker.”

Based on Italy’s Doc: Nelle tue maniDoc stars Parker (Deadwood) as Dr. Amy Larsen, a hard-charging Chief of Internal Medicine who, following a car accident, cannot remember the past eight years of her life — including the facts that she and her doctor husband Michael (The Affair‘s Omar Metwally) are now divorced… that their son tragically died… she was sneaking off for hook-ups with younger colleague Jake (Queen of the South‘s Jon Ecker)… and that arch rival Richard (Party of Five‘s Scott Wolf) did a very bad, potentially career-ending thing… that only Amy had been witness to.

Doc' Renewed at Fox for 22-Episode Season 2

The cast also boasts Amirah Vann (How To Get Away With Murder) and Anya Banerjee (The Blacklist).

According to Fox, Doc‘s Jan. 7 premiere has delivered “over 16 million viewers across platforms to-date (including encores, through 2/19)” — a 647% increase over its Live+Same Day audience (2.2 mil) and marking the broadcast network’s most-watched debut telecast in five years (excluding post-NFL), since 9-1-1: Lone Star.

“We’re ecstatic Doc has been picked up for a second season – a testament to the exceptional writing, captivating performances from our talented cast, and the incredible reception from audiences,” said Sony Pictures Television Studios chief Katherine Pope. “We’re so grateful to our partners at Fox for their unwavering support as we continue making more episodes of this show!”

The Conners EPs Reveal Which Roseanne Characters Will Not Return in Final Season

Not everyone is RSVP-ing to The Conners‘ going away party.

TVLine can confirm that legacy cast members Johnny Galecki (David), Michael Fishman (DJ) and Estelle Parsons (Bev) will not appear during the Roseanne offshoot’s truncated final season, which kicks off with the first of six episodes on Wednesday, March 26 (ABC, 8/7c).

“[David is] very much mentioned, very much alive in the story,” executive producer Bruce Helford tells me. “We love Johnny, he was always welcome, but he has more or less started life anew down in Nashville [following the conclusion of The Big Bang Theory].”
    Johnny Galecki ABC
Though fellow EP Dave Caplan contends that there was a potential story to tell — not necessarily revisiting Darlene and David’s relationship, but seeing David reconnect with their children, Harris and Mark — “there was so much to do in six,” and there wouldn’t have necessarily been time to see that story through, even if Galecki had agreed to come back.

“Honestly, once you see the arcs [you will understand],” Helford says. “What we never want to do is just bring somebody in just to see that person on the show. We want everyone to have something important to play.”
Michael Fishman Leaving The ConnersMichael Fishman ABC
That’s also why you won’t see Fishman, whose last appearance came in The Conners’ Season 4 finale. The following season revealed that DJ had reunited with his wife Geena, who was stationed in Germany, and Season 7 will confirm that their teenage daughter Mary — who was written out after Season 5 — has joined her parents overseas.
    Estelle Parsons ABC
As for Parsons — who received TVLine accolades for a sublime Season 6 arc that saw a dementia-riddled Bev make amends with Jackie — it was simply a matter of logistics. The Oscar-winning actress is 97 years young and based in New York City, roughly 3,000 miles from The Conners’ home base at Radford Studio Center in Los Angeles. Helford won’t confirm or deny whether Bev is still hopping trains, but we will receive an update on Roseanne’s mother before the sitcom signs off in April. “There are certainly some comments made about her situation,” he promises.

The network has cancelled two recent spinoffs of the ‘FBI’ procedural drama.

'FBI: Most Wanted' (L) and 'FBI: International' (R)

    Courtesy of CBS

Two weeks ago, CBS renewed nine shows for its upcoming TV season, bringing its total of returning series to 16. Unfortunately, two shows that will not be joining that list are FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, as Deadline reported the two spinoffs have been canceled after six and four seasons, respectively.

Most Wanted and International are offshoots of the “mothership” series FBI, which is currently in its seventh season, and the first of its three-year renewal deal. Starring Dylan McDermott, Most Wanted followed the New York Fugitive Task Force (FTF), which relentlessly tracks and captures the notorious and dangerous criminals on the FBI’s Most Wanted list. International covers terrorism conducted abroad, and is led by Jesse Lee Soffer.

The FBI franchise is a product of Dick Wolf, the creator of the Law & Order and Chicago universes, via Universal TV and Wolf Entertainment.

While the two shows have been canceled on CBS, given their solid ratings, there’s a chance they may be shopped around to other networks and streamers. For example, another Wolf product, Law & Order: Organized Crime, will kick off its fifth season in April 2025, having moved from NBC to Peacock.

CBS' FBI Franchise Just Got Hit With Huge Cancellation News, And Now I'm Waiting On

No matter where these spinoffs may be going–if anywhere–their departure is guaranteed to make room for the latest piece of the FBI universe. Only three years ago, both shows were getting two-season renewals, showing a strong sign of health overall. But Deadline alleges that financial issues have caused considerable cutbacks, including FBI and FBI: Most Wanted reducing the main cast’s minimum guarantees in 2024.

While losing two FBI shows in 2025 is a major hit, this does help clear the way for the already-announced spinoff FBI: CIA. The new series, which has earned its fair share of online ribbing for its naming conventions, is currently in development. The New York-set FBI: CIA is expected to have a backdoor pilot air in the back half of FBI Season 7 over the next two months.

FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International are both in the midst of airing the second half of their seasons, having returned from midseason hiatus on Jan. 28. It’s unknown how much these finales will resolve any major character storylines, or if fans will be left in the lurch, much like the shows proper were with this cancellation news.

Technically, there have been four (!) Boyds. In Season 1, the part was filled by twins Evan and Luke Kruntchev. They were replaced in Season 2 by Flynn Morrison, who played Boyd for the duration of Last Man‘s ABC run. When the series was revived by Fox in 2018, the character was recast yet again, with Jet Jurgensmeyer. Last Man Standing‘s much-ballyhooed Mandy switcheroo — which saw Molly Ephraim (Seasons 1-6) replaced by Molly McCook (Seasons 7-9) — went over like a lead balloon. But the show’s higher-ups anticipated — and were prepared for — the blowback.

“We fully expected [the backlash],” exec producer Kevin Abbott said in October 2018. “You don’t take a character played by an actress that’s beloved and suddenly switch them out. I’m glad they missed Molly Ephraim; that’s a good thing. And they’re going to go through the same process we did in casting.

“When Molly McCook walked in, we thought, ‘That’s not going to work. Physically that’s not going to work,’” he recalled. “Then we thought, ‘She’s the best actress, let’s go with it.’”

TVLine reported exclusively that Ephraim was considered for a final-season cameo, but the Powers That Be decided against it — more on that here.

Fans React to Controversial Changes in The Voice’s New Season

The latest season of The Voice has introduced several major changes, but not all fans are happy about them. The beloved singing competition, known for its unique blind auditions and powerhouse vocal performances, has undergone a format shake-up that has left many longtime viewers frustrated. From new rules to judge panel adjustments, the alterations have sparked heated debate among fans.

The Voice fans fume over major error as they say show makes huge mistake 'every season' | The US Sun

What’s Changing in the New Season?

This season, The Voice has introduced several modifications, including changes to the team structure, voting system, and contestant eliminations. Some of the biggest points of contention include:

Revamped Blind Auditions – Reports suggest that adjustments have been made to the format of the initial rounds, potentially altering the iconic first impression moment that made the show famous.
Coach Panel Shake-Up – A mix of new and returning judges has created a divisive reaction among fans, with some missing the dynamic of previous coaches.
Rule Tweaks in the Battles and Knockouts – The show has altered how contestants advance, leaving some fans feeling that the competition is less fair or that fan engagement has been reduced.
Voting System Overhaul – Changes in how audiences participate in the elimination process have led to criticism, with some longtime viewers claiming they feel less involved in determining the fate of their favorite contestants.

    Fans Express Their Frustration

Social media has been buzzing with mixed reactions since the season premiered. Some viewers have expressed disappointment, arguing that the changes take away from what made The Voice special in the first place. Many longtime fans are voicing concerns that the show is moving away from its original charm in an attempt to modernize.

“I’ve watched every season, but this one just doesn’t feel the same. The changes are unnecessary and make it harder to connect with the contestants,” one fan tweeted.

Another echoed the sentiment, saying, “They’re messing with a formula that worked. Why fix what isn’t broken?”

Will The Voice Listen to the Fans?

Despite the backlash, producers insist that the changes are meant to enhance the viewing experience and keep the show fresh. However, with ongoing criticism, it remains to be seen whether adjustments will be made mid-season or if the show will consider reverting to its classic format in future installments.

As the season progresses, fans will be watching closely to see if these changes improve or hinder The Voice’s long-standing reputation as one of TV’s top singing competitions. For now, one thing is clear—viewers aren’t afraid to make their voices heard.
