Reba McEntire fans grew teary-eyed as the country legend shared an exciting relationship milestone with her longtime boyfriend Rex Linn.

Reba and Rex have been an inspiration to many as they proved that it’s never too late to find your better half. This week fans grew emotional as the 69-year-old singer shared that she and her partner, who she met on set of her sitcom Happy Place, are celebrating their five-year anniversary.

The I’m a Survivor hitmaker shared the exciting milestone with a new loved-up post with her beau. In the Instagram post, the two lovebirds were all smiles as they were seen cuddled up and sporting matching grey sweaters as they enjoyed romantic dinner together. Reba captioned her post: “Celebrating five years of tater tots this week! #thetots #anniversary.”

In the caption, Reba was referencing the pairs’ sweet nicknames they gave each other on their very first date. In an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, she shared: “We all went to dinner, had a good time, went down the street to a wine bar, and they said, ‘Well, I understand you’ve already had dinner, but we do have some good appetizers. I said, ‘What do you have?’ They said, ‘Well, we have tater tots.’ I went, [raises hand], and so Rex said, ‘That’s your nickname from here on out — Tater Tot.’”

Drew Carey Reveals ‘The Price Is Right’ Games He Knows Players Will Struggle With Most

    Exclusive

After more than 17 years as host of The Price Is Right, Drew Carey has gotten a good handle on all the games that the show has to offer. While he said he gets “excited” to see contestants play all of the games, he acknowledges that there are a few tough ones on the list.

“There’s a couple games where I’m like, ‘Oh, they’re going to have a tough time,’” Carey told TV Insider. “Because there’s a couple games that are really hard to win. Stack the Deck is notorious amongst fans for how hard it is to win. There’s another one called That’s Too Much that has a low win rate. So when I see those, I’m like, ‘Oh man, you’re stuck with a tough one.’”

Drew Carey Reveals 'The Price Is Right' Games He Knows Players Will Struggle With Most - IMDb

In Stack the Deck, players are shown seven playing cards with five of the numbers making up the price of a car. Then, three pairs of grocery items are put up on display and the contestant has to guess which item in each of the pairs corresponds to a given price. One correct digit is filled in for the price of the car for every correct guess of the grocery prices. Once guesses are made for all three pairs, the contestant can win the car if they fill in the remaining digits correctly.

That’s Too Much is also played for a car, with contestants being shown 10 possible prices for the vehicle in ascending order. The prices are shown one at a time, and if the contestant can correctly identify the first price shown that’s higher than the actual price by calling out, “That’s too much,” then they win the car.

One of the games that Carey likes to see contestants play is Cliff Hangers. “Even though the money on Cliff Hangers isn’t great compared to the other pricing games we have – you don’t get a car if you’re playing Cliffhangers or anything like that, but it’s totally winnable,” he says. “Like, nobody should ever lose Cliff Hangers that watches the show. There’s a couple other games that are so easy, or 50/50 chance, or just pick one number or the other.”

The Price Is Right' Player Stuns Drew Carey With Near-Perfect Bid

In Cliff Hangers, contestants are shown a gameboard with a mountain slope that’s divided into 25 steps. There’s a climber figure at the base and a cliff at the top of the mountain. One at a time, the contestant has to guess the retail prices of three prizes. Every dollar that the contestant is off, the climber moves one step up the 25-step slope. The correct price is revealed once the climber stops or falls off the cliff, and the player wins all three prizes and a larger prize if the total of their errors on all three of the guesses is no more than $25.

Is ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Running Out of Ideas? Fans Debate Recent ‘Stupid’ Puzzles

After 50 years on the air, Wheel of Fortune viewers are wondering if the iconic game show is starting to run out of puzzles, especially after some recent examples that “made no sense.”

The latest debate comes after Friday’s (January 24) final Winter Wonderland-themed episode, which saw a showdown between JaRyce Echols from Spring, Texas, Kate Stuntz from Wellesley, Massachusetts, and Andy Kraus from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

During the Mystery Round, the three contestants were attempting to solve a puzzle under the “Weather Forecast” category. The players struggled to solve the puzzle, eventually getting down to just three letters missing.

    The puzzle read: “C L O U D _ / W I T H / A / C H A N C E / O _ / S N O W _ L O W S.”

Eventually, Echols figured it out, answering, “Cloudy With A Chance Of Snowplows.”

This was the final straw for one viewer, who took to the Wheel of Fortune Reddit forum to complain, “Are they running out of puzzle ideas??? I’m sorry but Cloudy with a chance of snowplows is just so goofy. I know there’s been some silly ones over the years, but my mom and I couldn’t believe that was the actual answer when we were watching.”

Another agreed, adding, “I thought that last word was ‘snowblows.’”

“This has been a discussion in my house recently lol. The puzzles lately have been so stupid,” said another.

“That is SO dumb. When have they ever heard a meteorologist say that? I was guessing snowblows, but even that’s bad. In the very beginning, I thought it was snowflakes – at least that makes sense (though I just realized that that doesn’t fit 💀),” added one commenter.

Another wrote, “That puzzle made no sense. I’m not from a snowy area so maybe it’s regional but I’ve never heard this phrase.”

“I swear some of the puzzles must be AI lately,” quipped one user.

Another added, “I yelled at the TV on that puzzle. I said, “No weatherman EVER forecast that!” So stupid!”

One viewer noted how their Wheel “pet peeve” is “that so many puzzles have to be related to either the prize or some weekly theme. There are an infinite amount of potential puzzles, so why are we limiting ourselves to such specific topics? It just feels contrived and hokey.”

Another pointed out how since Ryan Seacrest took over hosting duties from Pat Sajak last year, the show “has been trying different things. An emphasis has been placed on Vanna with multiple contestants professing a story about her. Ryan has been much more playful with contestants. Some puzzle categories are not as broad.”

Others didn’t seem to mind, with one fan writing, “They’re definitely tying the puzzles to the weekly theme more than they used to, but it’s a TV show and audiences like watching people win more than they like watching them lose. I’m nonplussed by it and I’m certainly not surprised by it.”

“Some of the puzzles have been a bit odd, but I do appreciate them trying fun new categories,” added another. “I’m a bit torn on them tying the puzzles into the theme week. It makes for some strange puzzles, but I feel if they’re going to do theme weeks, they need to do more beyond have the name of the week on the video wall and that’s it.”

In the photo, Maggie sat on a nude-colored leather couch.

She donned a tight dress of the same color that showed off her cleavage.

The frock was clinging to her slim figure.

She paired her daring look with what looked like clear pumps.

Maggie kept the look low-key with light makeup and jewelry.

She also opted to keep her long blonde hair flowing in straight tendrils around her face.

With one hand resting on her knee and the other on the couch, she gave a sly grin to the camera.

    SIZZLING SAJAK

Recently, Maggie showed off her stunning figure in a form-fitting dress while speaking to a recent Wheel of Fortune contestant.

The daughter of longtime WoF host Pat Sajak was seen interviewing contestant Jack, who racked up over $17,000 on the game show.

Maggie, 28, currently handles Wheel of Fortune’s online presence and appears during commercial bumpers, a role she’s held since 2021.

For the newest interview, she showed off her curves in a tight brown dress, which featured short sleeves and a plunging neckline.

The dress also featured a tie at the waist, accentuating Maggie’s figure even further as she talked to Jack about his winnings.

Maggie had her blond locks left down and straight and accessorized her look with a pair of strappy heels.

The interview clip, which was shared on the WoF Instagram page, garnered plenty of love from fans.

“She is so freakin awesome,” one person wrote, while a second joked: “I’d pay her 70K for a date.”

“Maggie you look beautiful,” a third noted.

The 28-year-old has become a fan-favorite on the popular nighttime game show, which her father Pat, 76, has hosted for the past 40 years.

Pat announced earlier this year that he would be retiring from the longtime gig after the 41st season.

He will be replaced by American Idol host and TV personality Ryan Seacrest, 48.

    MAGGIE IN TRAINING?

As for Vanna White (Pat’s co-host over the past four decades), she could be replaced by Maggie once she retires.

Vanna, 66, recently hinted that Maggie should be her successor once her new contract is up in 2026.

The longtime letter-turner implied Maggie might be the next “Vanna,” leaving another Sajak to carry on the show once her father leaves after the current season.

The co-host recently told E! on Maggie: “I think she’s a good replacement if I can’t be there for some reason.

“She’s been around it her whole life, so I think she can fill in for me for sure.”

“She’s precious, she’s beautiful, she’s very good,” Vanna added.

“I think she learned a lot from her father because he’s such a good interviewer.”

She continued: “I think she’s good for our show.”

Maggie is one of two children Pat shares with his second wife Lesly Brown, 58.

They also share a son Patrick, 32, who is pursuing a career in law.

Livid Trump slams Rachel Maddow’s ‘horrible ratings’ and claims MSNBC is ‘close to death’

President Trump gave a scathing assessment of Maddow’s ratings and also hit out at CNN during a fiery Truth Social rant.

Donald Trump has slammed MSNBC host Rachel Maddow – claiming the network is “close to death.”

The new President hasn’t shied away from heavily criticizing ratings-challenged MSNBC, previously claiming it “shouldn’t even have a right to broadcast.”

Now Trump has taken aim at Maddow, who has been brought back to five nights a week in a shake-up to cover his early days in office.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, Trump gave a scathing assessment of Maddow’s ratings and also hit out at CNN on Truth Social.

He wrote: “Wow! Rachel Maddow has horrible ratings. She’ll be off the air very soon. MSNBC IS CLOSE TO DEATH.

“CNN HAS REACHED THE BOTTOM. This is a good thing. They are the Enemy of the people!”

Maddow reportedly took a $5 million pay cut at the end of last year as the cable television network’s ratings continued to nosedive.

Comcast, NBC’s parent company, announced  it would split MSNBC and CNBC from NBC News in a bid to create a new spin-off company with several other Comast-owned cable channels.

Maddow, now earning $25 million a year over the next five years, is the network’s most-recognized news anchor and her show is their highest-rated program.

“This is a difficult time, and they needed to keep her,” one executive said back in November. “No one else can do what she does. You can’t build a brand like it overnight.

We use your sign-up to provide content in ways you’ve consented to and to improve our understanding of you. This may include adverts from us and 3rd parties based on our understanding. You can unsubscribe at any time. Read our Privacy Policy

Maddow took a step back from her five-night-a-week television schedule in 2022 to pursue other projects, but is now back to hosting every night.

Trump previously branded the network “MSDNC” due to alleged favoritism to Democrats.

He also dubbed Comcast CEO Brian Roberts a “slimeball” who has £been able to get away with these constant attacks for years.”

CNN guest clashes with Scott Jennings during LA fire havoc debate

CNN’s news anchor Jim Acosta has issued a chilling warning to viewers ahead of his exit from the network.

The often aggressive news correspondent, who joined the network in 2007, is reportedly leaving after he was officially pulled from its programming schedule.

On Monday, The Status newsletter reported that Jim was expected to leave CNN after it was announced last week that his 10am program would be replaced with The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and Pamela Brown in the network’s latest shakeup.

Now, on air, Costa gave the following statement to viewers: “Don’t give into lies don’t give into fear hold on to truth hold on to hope even if you’ve got to write it down on your phone and post it on social media.”

The newsletter previously reported that Mark Thompson, the CEO of CNN, pitched that Acosta move from his usual one-hour slot to a two-hour slot beginning at midnight, a far less distinguished and desirable place in the lineup.

A CNN insider told Fox News Digital they heard that the 53-year-old star “struggled with the choice” and could potentially cut his contract short as a result.

They also noted Acosta’s apparent exit “takes courage,” adding: “Many viewers like Jim… if there is anyone who could make the overnight go it’s him.

They also admitted: “It’s sad to see him go.”

Express US has reached out to CNN for comment.

Earlier this month, CEO Mark confirmed rumors that the anti-Trump anchor would lose his morning show after over 200 layoffs at the network were announced.

At the time, a network spokesperson said: “We are in active discussions with Jim about a new time slot and will have more information to share soon.”

    Jim Acosta at an event.

Acosta became widely known as CNN’s chief White House correspondent for his hostile relationship with President Donald Trump and his aides during his first administration.

After the 2020 election, his role changed to chief domestic correspondent but he initially anchored a show on the weekends.

It’s believed the network’s current leadership appears to be trying to present its programming as more neutral for Trump’s second term in the White House.

Several other CNN staffers are allegedly up in arms over the shake-ups, which they view as surrendering Trump.

Acosta is expected to seek out new ventures that might build himself, according to the person with knowledge of the situation (per Variety).

Acosta might launch his own digital subscription product, one that could include his interviews and accountability reporting.

Acosta could offer subscribers something that might be less available on traditional outlets.

He recently posted a link to a new Substack-backed outlet via Threads, the Meta social-media platform.

The news anchor could also seek a new future in an era when many other journalists are testing similar methods.

Jennifer Rubin, the veteran Washington Post columnist, recently left that news organization to launch a startup publication, The Contrarian, that has the slogan Not owned by anybody.

Rubin is partnering with former White House ethics official Norm Eisen.

A brief moment during Thursday’s concluding segment has left Wheel of Fortune fans majorly divided.

As part of its Winter Wonderland Week, the hit ABC game show has been featured in Park City, Utah.

Vanna, 67, who has co-hosted Wheel of Fortune since her debut in 1982, and her new co-star Ryan Seacrest, 50, were both sporting skiing gear and were stationed atop a snowy hill.

Ryan got into position as he exclaimed: “Thanks for watching from this winter wonderland!”

Before he skied down the hill, he added: “See you next time on Wheel Of Fortune.”

    Vanna White and Ryan Seacrest

As Vanna waved him off, the camera stayed on her, and she suddenly pulled a shocked facial expression.

The camera then cut to Ryan, who was lying face down on the snow with his equipment scattered around him.

Reacting to Ryan’s fall, Vanna seemingly exclaimed a word that viewers thought could have been an expletive.

Vanna ended the segment waving to the camera and saying: “I’m going to go and help Ryan, bye bye!”

One fan, @johnburrowsfan, took to Reddit to ask: “Did Vanna say what I think she said? I swear she says the F word!”

User @DinoScoops replied: “Yes I have it recorded too. I’ve listened to it like 30 times trying to figure out an alternative explanation. There isn’t one.”

With viewer @FabulousEngineer912 agreeing: “That’s what I thought she said too!”

A fourth user, @musicaes, chimed in: “Holy s—! It was clear as day. I was watching live and missed it!”

And fan @DinoScoops pointed out: “Especially when she has the exclamation of OHHH right beforehand. Someone is getting fired,” before clarifying: “EDIT: Vanna is not going to face any consequences. I’m referring to the junior editor tasked with these bumpers.”

However, some argued that Vanna actually said “look,” not the “F word,” like user @kerosenehat63, who wrote: “She said “Look”. At least that’s what the closed captioning said.”

Wheel of Fortune fans slam ‘lazy’ and ‘irritating’ Ryan Seacrest for forgetting huge rule

Wheel of Fortune fans aren’t happy with Ryan Seacrest after they realize he has been forgetting to remind players of one very important rule.

Wheel Of Fortune: Pat Sajak hands the reigns to Ryan Seacrest

Ryan Seacrest has been branded “lazy” by fans for apparently forgetting a big Wheel of Fortune rule.

The 50-year-old veteran TV star took over the Wheel of Fortune hosting reins from his predecessor, Pat Sajak after he announced his retirement in 2023.

While ratings for the hit game show have shot up since the American Idol host took over – fans have noticed a common mistake Ryan allegedly makes.

“Why did Ryan forget to tell the player to dump the wild card after landing on bankrupt?” Redditor @any_Drawer_2059 asked fellow viewers.

They clarified: “Ever since Ryan Seacrest took over for Pat Sajak, in recent episodes I’ve been watching, I’ve been discovering that Ryan has been forgetting to remind the player to dump the wild card after landing on bankrupt on tonight’s show (The player dumped the wild card before commercial just so you know that).

    Ryan Seacrest

Ryan presenting Wheel of Fortune (Image: ABC)

“Pat never reminded the player they lost the wild card in early appearances during season 24 in which notoriously in a “Teen Best Friends” episode in January 2007, after the team landed on Bankrupt, he did not remind the team to hand in their wild card and they later brought it to the bonus round (they did not solve the bonus puzzle in the process). I’m not sure if he’s been forgetting too much or he’s just being lazy to remind the player,” they added.

The Wild Card on Wheel of Fortune is a gameplay element that allows contestants to call extra letters during the game.

Ryan Seacrest says guest co-host Lisa Rinna 'reminds him of Kelly Ripa' after absent host reveals new career move | The US Sun

It can either be used in the first three rounds or taken to the Bonus Round.

User @andrewchicago63 agreed: “And tonight was the perfect opportunity for him to say something when she said “I’d like to solve.” When the contestant just yells it out without calling a letter that’s one thing. But when they say “I’d like to solve” he should step in and say you might want to guess a letter first. Irritating.”

Ryan Seacrest is being hit with some criticism from longtime Wheel of Fortune lovers. Since taking over as host for Pat Sajak in September, Seacrest has received mixed reviews from viewers about his performance, with new complaints now rolling in about some of his tendencies.

One fan in the Wheel of Fortune Reddit forum wondered why Seacrest “has been forgetting to remind the player to dump the wild card after landing on bankrupt.” The commenter pointed this out after the Monday, January 27, episode, adding, “I’m not sure if he’s been forgetting too much or he’s just being lazy to remind the player.”

This sparked a discussion about other things that had been bothering viewers about Seacrest’s hosting abilities. “I think the more annoying thing is when he doesn’t remind them to call a letter before they solve in the last round when time is running out,” someone wrote. “Lady today lost out on 1500 or so.”

Another person jumped into say, “Oh my god, I hate the way he shows the money and the bonus round. He holds the card up against his chest and builds up the suspense, and it’s 40K. Sad slide whistle.” Someone else had a list of complaints, writing, “I just don’t believe that he actually loves the game itself. And as the host, he should be pointing out to the players when they have the clock ticking or ‘Don’t want to guess a letter first?’ It [would show] he cares about everyone doing well. And good grief — announce the dollar amount of the prize money at the end of the final spin.”

Wheel Of Fortune' Fans Annoyed By Ryan Seacrest's On Air Quirk - IMDb

However, there were other commenters who jumped to Seacrest’s defense. “I love him. Think he is awesome,” someone said, while someone else wrote, “I’d prefer the host not remind people how to play the game. If I’m in the lead and the host reminds another player to guess a letter, and it results in them winning, I’d be pissed. I played the game correctly and didn’t need a reminder. Why is the host helping the other player? It’s fairest to just let everyone play and the best player wins.”

A third person added, “I really enjoy how Ryan hosts the show. He’s enthusiastic and really cheers the contestants on. I never cared for Pat’s snarky comments.”

Sajak was the host of Wheel for 43 years before he left the gig last year. His contract lasts through the early 2030s, according to The New York Times.

Drew Carey is usually a friendly host who likes to help out contestants on “The Price is Right,” and also sympathizes with those who lose out. But he decided to joke about a contestant named Amanda when she was unlucky on the game show. She was called to the stage as she correctly guessed the price of a pilates bench and had already won that as a prize. When she went on stage, Carey informed her that she would be playing the Time is Money game.

The rules of the game are simple. There are five items and three tables, each representing a price range. A contestant’s job is to correctly place the items in the price brackets that they belong to. Only 10 seconds are allotted for this task. The contestant who pulls it off stands the chance of winning a whopping $200,000.

The five items Amanda had were a pack of C batteries, Tide stain-removing wipes, an eight-ounce package of cream cheese, a bottle of Power Aide, and a can of Goya tomato sauce as per Express. The three tables had price ranges of 0-$2.99, $3-5.99, and $6 and up. After her first try, it was revealed that Amanda got it wrong, so she was given a second chance but this time, there was a catch.

She had initially placed the tomato sauce and the Power Aide on the first table, the cream cheese on the second, and the batteries and the wipes on the last. Despite multiple tries, she never got it right and Carey said, “You got a pilates machine to work out the stress,” which was a brutal joke for the woman in that situation.

Amanda took losing in Time is Money quite well but the same cannot be said for every single contestant. In the earlier days of the show when Bob Barker was the host, a contestant named Linda was called down and she was playing the Three Strikes game for a Pontiac. In this game, a contestant would draw numbers from a bag and guess where it went in the price of the car. However, if one draws three red X marked tokens then they’d be out of the game.

Many people believe 7 to be a lucky number but it was not the case for Linda. She drew 7 three times and never got its position right in the price of the car. She also drew an 8 and a 5 and guessed their positions correctly. However, before these two successes, she had drawn two strike tokens meaning that her chances of winning were already pretty bleak.

The nervousness was clear on her face with every draw and when the third strike token came out, she did not attempt to hide her frustration. She threw it into the bag where it came from and stormed off the stage as Barker went on with the rest of the show.
