The couple made their red carpet debut in November 2020 at the CMA Awards and have attended major events together since, including the Oscars and the ACM Awards. They’ve also worked on projects together, from the Lifetime movie “The Hammer” to the NBC sitcom “Happy’s Place.”

The Voice Season 28 continued on Sept. 30 with the fourth installment of Blind Auditions. At the halfway point of the round, coaches Michael BubléReba McEntireNiall Horan, and Snoop Dogg were growing concerned with the need to diversify their teams. Reba was anxious to step outside the country music box with her picks, but found herself fighting Snoop for an undeniable country voice. Meanwhile, Michael and Niall’s battle for “three-peat” supremacy waged on even when Michael hadn’t turned around for an artist Niall wanted.

In this first round, the coaches will have their backs turned to the auditioning artists. If they like what they’re hearing and are interested in working with the performers, the would-be coaches can press their button. If multiple coaches turn their chair, the artist chooses which team to join. This season, each coach has one block to keep another coach from claiming an artist. By the end of the round, each coach will have hand-picked 12 artists to join their team.

‘The Price Is Right’ Fans Debate Which Game Will Be ‘Retired’ Next

'The Price Is Right' Season 54 Check Game
    Robert Voets/CBS

The Price Is Right fans are discussing which pricing game they think will be retired from the game show next. Over the course of the show’s run, some games have been slowly phased out, only being played rarely, while others are eventually removed from the show completely to make way for new games.

Season 54 brought in The Lion’s Share on the premiere episode, so fans think another game will be retired soon. “Which of the current pricing games do you think will be the next one retired?” a Reddit user asked. The original poster thought it would be the new game since it is sponsored by BetMGM, and they might lose sponsorship soon.

“I hope CBS didn’t have to pay for putting that game together. Seems like a pricey game. Maybe it can be parted out to update other game boards, or they can create a new game. Or just keep the game, drop the sponsorship, and reduce the prizes. Hopefully the game is around a while,” one fan responded.

Other fans had mixed opinions. Some think The Clock Game will be retired next, while others said The Check Game, which was just played on September 29. “The Check Game, hopefully. Just sort of a dud for me. Not to mention more antiquated by the season,” one fan said. Another fan suggested changing it to the ATM game, where they withdraw the money from an ATM instead of writing a check.

“I know it’s a classic, but… I have a feeling Clock Game’s days are numbered. I don’t know if it will be the NEXT game to be retired, but it will probably be at some point. Even with the bonus for guessing both prizes, at some point, it will get too difficult to find meaningful prizes under $1000,” a fan pointed out.

Another fan suggested, “I could see them dropping Pay the Rent, no one seems to get that you need to save the cheapest item for mid-tier. The $10k winners are cool, but it’s not that hard of a game to get $100k on imho.”

“I would like to see Hot Seat retired. I think it’s too slow and kind of kills the flow of the show,” one fan suggested.

One fan said they think a fan-favorite game like Plinko will be the next to go because the money amounts are too low. “At the very least, I think they should get rid of the ‘screw you’ zeros. Would it cost them that much to have a guaranteed $10/$25 in those spots?” a fan wrote.

Which game do you think will be retired next, or which one would you like to see? Let us know in the comments.

Reba McEntire To Reunite With Another Former ‘Reba’ Star On ‘Happy’s Place’

Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman will reunite with another former Reba star in the upcoming season of Happy’s Place, they confirmed on Tuesday afternoon (September 30).

JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who played McEntire’s eldest daughter on the early 2000s sitcom, is set to make an appearance on the new NBC comedy series.

Garcia Swisher is the latest Reba alum to guest star on Happy’s Place, following Steve Howey (who played her husband and McEntire’s son-in-law) and Christopher Rich (Garcia Swisher’s father and McEntire’s ex-husband) in the first season of the show.

Reba premiered in 2001, and the finale aired in 2007. McEntire starred in the series with Rich, Peterman, Howey and Garcia Swisher, plus Scarlett Pomers and Mitch Holleman. McEntire played “a single mom of three, navigating life in a Houston suburb,” reads the show’s description on IMDb.

Now, McEntire plays Bobbie on Happy’s Place. Bobbie is “a tough but lovable woman who inherits her late father’s Tennessee tavern – only to discover that her new co-owner is also the half-sister she never knew she had,” per NBC. “They couldn’t be more different, but they’ll navigate this new life together… because at Happy’s Place, everyone is family.”

The show also stars Peterman, McEntire’s real-life fiancé Rex Linn, plus Belissa EscobedoPablo Castelblanco and Tokala Black Elk. Guest stars Christopher LloydCarol Kane and Cheri Oteri will play “three new hilarious characters,” and add “even more star power to the dynamite ensemble,” NBC confirmed earlier this month.

JoAnna García Swisher Will Guest Star on Happy's Place Season 2

McEntire said in an interview with iHeartCountry earlier this year that the key to a successful sitcom is “the writing. If it’s not on the page, it’s not on the stage.” She said her showrunner and head writer tells stories in “a great voice of comedy and heart. …That’s what I love so much about the Andy Griffith Show, (for example), how he raised Opie – I used that raising my son – but it is very important to have heart in there. You gotta laugh, but you gotta cry. You’ve got to hit all of those emotions.

“I’ve got to listen to the arc of the second season, and it’s gonna be good,” McEntire teased later. “And all of the characters – and I do call us ‘characters,’ the actors, we are characters in our own right. We’re so diversified that we bring to the table something in real life that I think comes through on the screen. …We love each other. We respect each other’s opinion on things, their individual lifestyle, their background, their heritage. It’s a fun family.”

The second season of Happy’s Place will premiere on November 7.

The Reba alum, 46, will be reuniting with her former Reba TV mom Reba McEntire and TV stepmom, Melissa Peterman, on the pair’s hit NBC series, the network announced on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Garcia Swisher’s role will make her one of a handful of former Reba cast members to cameo alongside McEntire and Peterman on the series, following first-season appearances from both Steve Howey and Christopher Rich.

In her guest star appearance, Garcia Swisher will take on the role of Kenzie, a “local Knoxville influencer who has been hired to represent Happy’s Place for their upcoming social media marketing campaign,” much to “Bobbie’s chagrin,” according to a description from NBC.

The casting news comes after Garcia Swisher and other Reba stars recently linked up for dinner. On Sept. 27, Peterman shared photos from the hangout featuring herself, McEntire, Garcia Swisher and Rich in a parking lot after grabbing a bite. The former castmates were joined by  McEntire’s fiancé, Rex Linn, and Rich’s wife, Eva Halina Rich.

“Dinner with friends is always good. Dinner with these friends is everything. #familyforever ❤️,” Peterman, 54, captioned the snaps, as Garcia Swisher commented, “Goodness, i love you all so much ❤️.”

Fans luckily won’t have to wait too long to see Garcia Swisher, who played Cheyenne on Reba, appear on Happy’s Place, in which McEntire plays Bobbie, a woman who inherits a bar from her father, and Peterman also stars in the series as Gabby. Season 2 kicks off in November.

The series previously premiered in October 2024.

“The first time we went into a table read, it was very nostalgic,” McEntire previously told PEOPLE in May about working her former collaborators from Reba. “It was very emotional. I mean, see, I’m getting choked up right now. That’s the way it was for all of us to be so blessed.”

“If you get one really good sitcom that lasts for six seasons, you think, ‘Man, I’ve got the golden ring. That’ll be it. Probably never do it again, because that’s magic in a bottle.’ We got it again and we realize it.”

She added, “It’s real easy to step in back into that with the crew. You love people you get to work together with that you’ve worked with before. It’s just so much easier than starting over.”

Garcia Swisher told PEOPLE in July 2024 that she would “100%” make an appearance on the show. “But more importantly, I’m just excited to go watch the show because I am really excited for all of them. It’s going to be great,” she said at the time, adding that her two former cast mates are “just gold” together.

“I know what the warmth of that set being led by Reba feels like,” she said. “It’s just going to be a great experience. It’s such a gift. It was the perfect opportunity.”

[VIDEO] Tim Allen previews new season of ‘Shifting Gears’. The actor discusses returning to his role as Matt in the second season of the hit ABC sitcom and what fans can expect.

Tim Allen Talks Family, Comedy, and Classic Cars in Season 2 of Shifting Gears

Tim Allen is revving up for another season of laughs, legacy, and horsepower in ABC’s hit sitcom Shifting Gears. In a recent interview on Good Morning America, the veteran actor and comedian gave fans a sneak peek into what’s coming next—and it’s more than just chrome and crankshafts.

Shifting Gears': See Tim Allen Reunite With 'Home Improvement' Cast on Season 2 Premiere (PHOTOS)

Allen returns as Matt, a gruff but lovable car restorer who finds himself navigating the unpredictable terrain of family life. Season 2 picks up with Matt still adjusting to living with his daughter and granddaughter, a dynamic that Allen says brings “chaos, heart, and a lot of unexpected comedy.”

“It’s about family, it’s about the messiness of relationships,” Allen shared. “And yes, it’s still about the cars—but the people are what drive the story.”

    A Nostalgic Reunion

One of the biggest surprises this season is the return of Nancy Travis, Allen’s longtime co-star from Last Man Standing. Travis guest stars in an episode that fans are already calling a mini-reunion. Allen teased that her appearance includes a subtle nod to their shared sitcom past.

“There’s a wink in the episode where you know that there’s a past,” Allen said with a smile, hinting at an inside joke that longtime viewers will appreciate.

Their on-screen chemistry remains as sharp as ever, and Allen admitted that working with Travis again felt “like slipping into a comfortable pair of boots.”

    More Than Just a Sitcom

While Shifting Gears is packed with humor, Allen emphasized that the show also explores deeper themes—especially the challenges of parenting, generational gaps, and personal growth. Matt’s journey isn’t just about fixing cars; it’s about fixing relationships, too.

Allen, who’s known for blending comedy with heartfelt storytelling, said that Season 2 will lean even more into the emotional core of the characters.

“We’re not afraid to get real,” he said. “There are moments that will make you laugh, and moments that might make you tear up a little.”

    What’s Under the Hood

Of course, Shifting Gears wouldn’t be complete without its signature love for classic cars. Allen, a real-life car enthusiast, revealed that this season features even more vintage vehicles, restoration projects, and garage banter.

Behind the scenes, Allen is deeply involved in the automotive details, ensuring that the show stays authentic to gearheads and casual viewers alike.

“We’ve got some beautiful machines this season,” he said. “But the real engine of the show is the cast.”

    Looking Ahead

With Season 2 set to premiere this fall on ABC, fans can expect a blend of nostalgia, fresh storylines, and the kind of humor that only Tim Allen can deliver. Whether you’re tuning in for the cars, the comedy, or the family drama, Shifting Gears promises to take viewers on a ride worth watching.

“It’s a show about second chances,” Allen said. “And sometimes, shifting gears is exactly what you need to move forward.”

[WARNING: This post contains MAJOR spoilers from The Voice Season 28, Episode 2.]

The Blind Auditions continued during the Monday, September 29, episode of The Voice. Eleven more artists sang for coaches Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, and Michael Bublé with the hopes of getting at least one of them to turn their chairs around.

It was an epic night of performances, with three singers getting four-chair turns and two coaches using their Block buttons to prevent one of their colleagues from nabbing an artist on their team. Scroll down for a full recap of everything that went down and to find out where all four teams stand now.

    Cori Kennedy

First to take the stage was 28-year-old country singer Cori Kennedy, who performed “Why Not Me” by The Judds. McEntire was the first to turn around, followed by Bublé.
    Cori Kennedy

    Griffin Nagel/NBC

“I’m just so thrilled to be back on The Voice and to hear your voice singing. It brings me back to Tennessee. Makes me homesick,” McEntire said as she choked back tears. Bublé called Cori “country with a little mix of Stevie Nicks.”

The writing was pretty much on the wall from the moment McEntire turned around, and no one was surprised when Cori chose her as her coach. “I grew up on your show, Reba. I grew up listening to your music,” she gushed. “So it’s Reba every day, all day.”

    Revel Day

After previously singing backup for artists including Stevie Wonder, Andy Grammer, and Kirk Franklin, Revel Day was ready to put himself in the spotlight during his Blind Audition. After opening up about nearly losing everything in the California wildfires earlier this year, he performed “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane, and had all four coaches turn their chairs.

“It was a big, round voice singing quite an indie song,” Horan pointed out. “I think you did it so much justice.” While he pointed out that Revel “got a tiny little bit loose” at times, he praised him for the song choice. “It made me think about what we can do with you down the line,” the singer added.

Bublé said, “God has a plan. I guess this is part of your journey. You have a very beautiful and smooth voice. When I heard that roundness and control, I knew you had it in you.” Although Revel said he came on the show “with a plan,” he changed his mind at the last minute when he chose Horan as his coach.

“I just started replaying Niall’s words, and I heard the intentionality, and I can’t wait to make Team Niall proud,” he confirmed.

    Natalia Albertini

Natalia Albertini, a 24-year-old who works at her family’s party balloon business, performed “Out Here on My Own” by Irene Cara. Snoop immediately turned around, followed by McEntire.

“I could hear the R&B and the pop,” Snoop pointed out. “You were so calm, you were so relaxed. Even when I turned the chair, you pointed at me like, ‘Good looking out, but I gotta get back to it.’ You have a God-given ability that I’m loving.”

For her pitch, McEntire said, “Your singing touched me so much. So that God-given gift was used today. Thank you for being the vessel.” Horan admitted he was going to “hate” himself for not turning around.

In the end, Natalia went with “[her] gut” and chose Snoop as her coach.

    Marty O’Reilly

For his audition song, Marty O’Reilly sang “Trouble” by Ray LaMontagne. It took the coaches a while to turn around, but eventually Horan did, followed by Snoop and Bublé.

“That sounded like something classic, like something I never heard before. I can’t let this get away,” Snoop raved. Horan called Marty’s rasp “insane” and said he “got the chills” just talking about it.

Bublé made sure to point out that he won the last two seasons of The Voice, then he pulled out a stunt by having a penalty box appear and putting Horan inside. “I used up my one big gag to make this happen,” Bublé said. “I hope you join my team.”

It turned out that it worked, as Marty went with Team Bublé.

    J. Blake

    J. Blake performed “The Door” by Teddy Swims, but unfortunately, none of the coaches turned around for him.

Horan said he did a “great job,” but noted that there were some “pitch issues” with the performance. Snoop also urged J. Blake to sing a song from the church if he ever came back and auditioned again.

“It’s an amazing song, but maybe not the exact song for this moment,” Horan said of the contestant’s song choice.

    Kayleigh Clark

Next up was Kayleigh Clark, a 20-year-old who works on her family’s chicken farm in Mississippi. She performed “Stay” by Sugarland for her Blind Audition, and all four coaches turned around in the following order: Snoop, McEntire, Horan, and Bublé.

    Griffin Nagel/NBC

“Absolutely incredible,” McEntire said. “You sang it beautifully, and I would love to have you on my team as a fellow country singer. You did a wonderful job and I’m very proud of you.”

Bublé added, “I love country music dearly,” and told Kayleigh that he’d “love” for her to just “consider” choosing him. Snoop jumped in to add, “I’m not one to count or whatnot, but I think I was first. … Taking a chance with me would be something different. I would give you room to grow, but also assist you and coach you and give you the information to help you become the artist you are.”

Horan compared Kayleigh to Carrie Underwood and said he had “goosebumps” from watching her perform. Although everyone thought Kayleigh would pick McEntire, she ended up selecting Horan as her coach. “A lot of country people are going to go with Reba,” she pointed out afterwards.

    Daron Lameek

Daron Lameek wowed the coaches with his Blind Audition of Lionel Richie‘s “All Night Long.” McEntire turned first, and Bublé jumped in at the last minute. Daron revealed that he actually spent six months performing with The Commodores before his audition.

Horan called the performance “insane” and admitted that he didn’t push his button only because he thought Bublé was going to block him. “I can’t wait to see what else you hold in store with your vocals,” McEntire said. “Huge Lionel Richie fan. You did that song great justice. I’d love to have you on my team.”

Meanwhile, Bublé said he thought Horan was going to block him, adding that he also didn’t want to “fight against” McEntire. In the end, Daron picked McEntire as his coach.

    Rob Cole

Rob Cole previously auditioned for Season 25 of The Voice and got no chairs to turn. His performance of “Joy Of My Life” by Chris Stapleton got chair turns from Bublé and McEntire. However, Bublé also used his Block on McEntire.

    Griffin Nagel/NBC

“I love you so much that I blocked you,” Bublé said. “That’s the respect and admiration I have. When I heard your voice, I knew I could not allow Reba to be in the competition with me.”

That automatically put Rob on Bublé’s team, although McEntire noted, “We’ve got a little thing called a Steal.”

    Justin Jenks

Justin Jenks performed “Sex and Candy” for his audition, but no coaches turned their chairs around. When they saw who had just performed, they were shocked, as some thought there were actually two people singing, and others thought they were hearing a female voice.

“Please come back because today there just happened to be an idiot sitting in my seat,” Bublé said. Snoop agreed, adding, “Please come back, and I can guarantee when you come back and I hear your voice, I’m going to push the button.”

    Aarik Duncan

For Aarik Duncan’s Blind Audition, he sang “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish, and Bublé was the one coach to turn around.

    Griffin Nagel/NBC

Snoop explained, “I’m looking for a particular style of music. I have a peripheral view, and when I saw Michael Bublé’s chair turn … we have an understanding. I’m glad you got a great coach like Mike.”

Horan agreed that he’s “looking for a particular thing right now,” and noted that Aarik had some “early pitch issues.” Bublé made sure to remind Aarik that he won Season 27 of The Voice with a contestant who was a one-chair turn and is ready to do it again.

    Sadie Dahl

The final performance of the night was from 19-year-old Sadie Dahl. She sang “Colors” by Black Pumas. All four coaches turned around, but Horan blocked Bublé.

    Griffin Nagel/NBC

After the performance, Snoop gushed, “As I listened to your vocals, I hear so many different ranges of tone and delivery and how you’re so professional and strong on stage. I hear a little bit of pop, some soul, some R&B, a little bit of everything. If you choose me as your coach, I think we’ll make great music, and I think you’ll have a great career after this show.”

Horan praised Sadie for “never wavering,” and McEntire told her she could “definitely win this thing.” With Bublé blocked, Sadie had a choice between the other three coaches, and she picked Snoop Dogg.

‘The Voice’ Season 28 Week 2 Spoilers

We are back with week 2 of the Blind Auditions on “The Voice” season 28. What can viewers expect as the coaches — Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Michael Buble, and Niall Horan — try to find more singers for their teams this week on “The Voice” 2025? Check out the week 2 details below in our “The Voice” spoilers.

Week 2 of Blind Auditions on ‘The Voice’

NBC is giving us two more nights on Blind Auditions this week on “The Voice” season 28. Night 3 of the Blind Auditions takes place on Monday, September 29. This two-hour episode will begin at 8/7c.

Then on Tuesday, September 30, we will have back-to-back episodes of the hit singing competition on NBC. Starting at 8/7c, NBC will air a recap episode of Night 3 of the Blinc Auditions.

Starting at 9/8c, we will then get Night 4 of the Blind Auditions, as the coaches have more singers come before them for a chance at getting a spot on their team.

    Sneak Peek at Country Crooner

Ahead of tonight’s all-new episode on NBC, they have shared a sneak peek at one of the auditions. Cori Kennedy takes the stage and sings “Why Not Me” by The Judds.

You can tell she has such a strong country voice, and she hits those twangs so well. This was a very strong audition, as she got Reba and Michael to hit their buttons for her.

Meanwhile, Snoop and Niall are enjoying the music and some of those big notes that Cori hits, but neither of them hits the button for her.

After introducing herself, the girl from Minnesota asks if she can sing a song she wrote for the coaches and being on the show. They agree, so she belts out the song, which is beyond adorable.

“The Voice” coaches were loving it, and they proceeded to give her a standing ovation. As quirky as it is, her ability to write that song and how enjoyable it was shows she might be a strong competitor this season.

It’s then time for Reba and Michael to battle it out for Cori to pick them as a coach. Michael even brought out the Reba socks in his attempt to get Cori to pick him. Snoop says if a country singer comes on the show, then they are going to pick Reba, and he didn’t want to lose to her today.

It’s then time for Cori to pick a team. Does she pick Team Reba, like expected, or will she shock everyone and go Team Michael? We find out tonight on “The Voice” season 28!

The Voice Season 28 continued on Sept. 29 with the third installment of Blind Auditions. With four veteran coaches — Michael BubléReba McEntireNiall Horan, and Snoop Dogg — behind the big red chairs, their advantage to block another coach from turning for an artist became all-important in the mission to build the strongest team. Previously, Snoop successfully blocked Reba and Reba unsuccessfully blocked Snoop (the artist chose Michael instead), so all eyes were on Michael and Niall this week to see how they’d use the button — especially since each of them is looking for a three-peat.

Read on for our The Voice 28 recap of the “Blind Auditions, Part 3” performances which aired Monday, Sept. 29 at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC.
