Tom Brady was one of the announcers for the 2025 Super Bowl, and made sure to remind viewers of his iconic game against the Atlanta Falcons during the game eight years earlier. Social media users quickly got fed up with the seven-time champion for how much he referenced the comeback.

“I’m really gonna have to hear Tom Brady bring up the Atlanta Super Bowl loss every Super Bowl for the next 10 years, aren’t I?” one person wrote on X. Another added, “If your Super Bowl drinking game is “Every time Tom Brady talks about playing in the Super Bowl” you’re already dead from alcohol poisoning,” and someone else wrote, “How many times is Tom Brady going to tell us he was in a SuperBowl?”

Another viewer wrote, “Tom Brady pissing me off talking bout my Falcons,” and someone else jumped in to say, “it was only a matter of time before “that guy” Tom Brady made a Falcons-Patriots Super Bowl reference!!! He Sucks!!!”

The Chiefs had a tough first half against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, falling 24-0 halfway through the game. The score led Brady to reminisce about his own rough start against the Falcons in 2017.

While playing quarterback for the New England Patriots in 2017, Brady and his team were down 21-3 at halftime. They made a huge comeback in the second half to force overtime, then won the game 34-28. It gave Brady his fifth Super Bowl win and went on to further cement him as the GOAT.

Brady retired from football in 2023 and began working as an analyst for Fox Sports during the 2024-2025 season. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has often been compared to Brady for his success. In seven seasons, he’s won three Super Bowls, and is playing for his fourth in 2025. However, it will remain to be seen if he’s able to pull off an epic comeback like Brady did nearly a decade ago.

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans Blast Show for Spoiling Episode With Massive Editing Error

Wheel of Fortune viewers spotted a massive editing error during Friday’s (February 7) game, which spoiled the episode and gave away who won it in advance.

During the episode’s trip montage, there was a clip of contestant Nekeia Borders spinning the final prize wheel. This came as a huge shock as, at that point in the episode, Borders was far behind her two opponents with just $2,000, meaning the show had just spoiled a riveting comeback victory.

“During the trip montage they showed the winner spinning the final wheel. That happened right?” asked a viewer on Reddit, making sure they weren’t just seeing things.

Others confirmed the mistake, with one commenter replying, “Yep, and it was a huge spoiler since she in last place when it was shown.”

“While the announcer was discussing the prize round’s trip to Spain, the montage showed a small clip of the eventual winner spinning the wheel! It was even more of a shock considering how behind they were from the other two contestants at that point,” explained another.

“Yes! What the hell!” said another.

Another added, “Literally came here to see if anyone else noticed!! I’m so annoyed.”

“I saw it too. Said to my husband that that woman was going to win somehow. Then they hit that $5,000 space and she started racking up money. And there it went. Couldn’t believe they showed her spinning in the final,” another shared.

“Yes!!! I told my husband that. I said, “Wait, I think the gal in the middle is going to make it to the bonus round?? They just showed her.” That was so weird and lame,” added one commenter.

“After we saw the spoiler and knowing how far down she was at that point, my wife guessed that the final puzzle spin had to land on $5k. Sure enough,” wrote another.

One X user added, “Nice editing!! Come on. Do better than this,” alongside a screenshot of the moment in question.

As expected, Borders went on to win the episode after a stunning comeback in the final Speedup round, though she failed to figure out the Bonus Round puzzle and missed out on the $100,000 grand prize.

Wheel of Fortune Ryan Seacrest finally spoke out after being painfully knocked down by a contestant on live

Ryan Seacrest breaks silence after falling to ground on Wheel of Fortune

Ryan Seacrest fell to the ground during the latest episode of Wheel of Fortune and the host is now speaking about the altercation with the contestant.

Wheel of Fortune: Host falls as contestant celebrates win

Ryan Seacrest has spoken out about his recent altercation with a contestant on Wheel of Fortune.

This week, a contestant had the game show host taken back by their impressive $78,000 win. However, it was nothing compared to the shock he experienced after a player rammed into him and pushed him over.

After being neck and neck with two other contestants, California native Daniel Thomas came out on top with a total prize fund of $31,950, which sent him into the final round.

During the last game, he was able to add $40,000 to his earnings. Once his victory set in, he started jumping up and down to celebrate the win.

Seacrest joined Thomas’ celebration as he shouted: “You won.”

This prompted the contestant to give the host a big hug and attempt to jump into his arms. This caused Seacrest to fall backwards onto the floor.

Thomas quickly made sure he was okay and although the host said he was “fine” and “okay,” he was seen grabbing his back, appearing to have hurt himself. He tried to shake off the pain but his pain was still noticeable to the audience.

On Instagram, one wrote: “Hoping he is ok! I saw it last night!”

Another pointed out: “Poor Ryan people always bear huggin him pickin him up then not making sure he’s balanced when they put him back down lol guess he should be used to it. Its been happening for 20 yrs on Idol lol,” referencing his hosting spot at American Idol.

Luckily, Seacrest assured fans through a Youtube video that he “loved it.”

As Vanna waved him off, the camera stayed on her, and she suddenly pulled a shocked facial expression.

The camera then cut to Ryan, who was lying face down on the snow with his equipment scattered around him.

Reacting to Ryan’s fall, Vanna seemingly exclaimed a word that viewers thought could have been an expletive.

Vanna ended the segment waving to the camera and saying: “I’m going to go and help Ryan, bye bye!”

One fan, @johnburrowsfan, took to Reddit to ask: “Did Vanna say what I think she said? I swear she says the F word!”

User @DinoScoops replied: “Yes I have it recorded too. I’ve listened to it like 30 times trying to figure out an alternative explanation. There isn’t one.”

With viewer @FabulousEngineer912 agreeing: “That’s what I thought she said too!”

A fourth user, @musicaes, chimed in: “Holy s—! It was clear as day. I was watching live and missed it!”

And fan @DinoScoops pointed out: “Especially when she has the exclamation of OHHH right beforehand. Someone is getting fired,” before clarifying: “EDIT: Vanna is not going to face any consequences. I’m referring to the junior editor tasked with these bumpers.”

However, some argued that Vanna actually said “look,” not the “F word,” like user @kerosenehat63, who wrote: “She said “Look”. At least that’s what the closed captioning said.”

Reba McEntire explains the ‘big change’ she went through after her divorce and reveals why she won’t marry Rex Linn: ‘I don’t meet the bedroom needs of men, so…’

Reba McEntire is opening up about how she landed on her feet after her divorce.

The country superstar parted ways with her ex-husband and manager, Narvel Blackstock, in 2015 after 26 years of marriage.

“We got a divorce, and the shocker of it all was, there were four people who were taking care of all my business,”

McEntire said in a recent episode of Apple Fitness+ Time to Walk, according to a People exclusive.

“I had my production manager who left, I had my CEO who left, my manager and husband, and my father had died. So four men who were rock and pillars of my world were gone.”

McEntire explained that with those core people gone, she began personally managing more details of her life.

“I started taking over signing the checks and then I started realizing how much water cost, and the electric bill, and all the things that was going on in my life,” she said.

“I made the money, I brought it home. So it was a huge, huge change for me.”

Reflecting on how she adjusted to life after divorce, McEntire said she had to “run it all through God.”

“I had to say, ‘OK big boy, I can’t handle this. This is way over my pay grade — I don’t know what to do,’” she said. “And I would wait, and He would guide me. And so without my faith, I have no idea where I would be or my career would be, at this time today.”

The country icon has since found love again with actor Rex Linn. The couple went public with their relationship in October 2020, although they they’ve known each other since 1991, when they both appeared in the Kenny Rogers movie “The Luck of the Draw.”

“We’ve kept in contact with each other over the years, and we both know the same people, so it was just like good friends getting back together having dinner in January,” McEntire said during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” last November. “And then we started texting and talking on the telephone, getting to know each other better during the quarantine.”

Reba McEntire left fans in awe by revealing she is working on a new music project

Reba McEntire left fans in awe by revealing she is working on a new music project: A ‘new national anthem’ song is about to be released!

There was no need to worry that Reba McEntire might mess up or bring any unnecessary flourishes to “The Star-Spangled Banner”

when she performed the National Anthem prior to the Super Bowl on Sunday evening.

The Voice fans gush Reba McEntire 'showed the contestants how it's done' as she performs 'jaw-dropping' new song I Can't | The US Sun

Unlike anyone else who’d done it prior to the Bowl or any other major NFL game in recent memory, she brought a full half-century’s experience of singing the anthem to the occasion.

The year 2024 marks a special anniversary for the country superstar and her association with the song:

She is often said to have been “discovered” 50 years ago when she sang it at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in her home state of Oklahoma, when she was just 19.

McEntire’s latest rendition of the anthem was more fully orchestrated than some other recent versions — or even her own past readings — have been,

with a pre-recorded horn section sending the song toward a big climax.

McEntire mixed glamour with a true-to-country big belt buckle as she belted the nation’s theme song, with interstitial shots including pyro going off over Allegiant Stadium and an image of the flag waving on Las Vegas’ new Sphere.

The recording of the National Anthem was produced by Adam Blackstone, who co-arranged with Nick Lombardelli. Players included Travis Toy on pedel steel, Clay Sears and acoustic and electric guitars, Lombardelli on keys, Blackstone doing programming and bass, and a horn section made up of Lombardelli, Matt Gallagher, Joe Anderson, Ron Kerber, Chris Farr and Mark Allen.

Going into the game, McEntire discussed her preparation at a press conference, sounding like she didn’t have much reason to sweat the high-profile gig. “I prepare by being prepared,” she said. “I’ve been singing the national anthem in the shower, when we get in the car… Rex (Linn), my boyfriend, is a huge football fan. He’ll say, ‘Sing it one more time.’ I’ll say, ‘I think i know the words real good right now, so I’m all right.’”

“It means that I get to sing a very special song for all American people around the wrld who have really worked so hard for our freedom and to give us peace…. It’s not about me. I’m a representation of this song, and I’m just honored to get to sing it. It’s a good one. I’ve been doing it for 50 years and I’m really proud to get to sing it.”

It’s the fourth year in a row that the anthem has been performed at the Bowl in full or in part by a major figure in country music. Chris Stapleton did it in 2023, preceded by Mickey Guyton in 2022. In 2021, country star Eric Church sang it as a duet with R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan. The last time a Bowl rendering of “The Star Spangled Banner” didn’t involve a country singer was in 2020, when Demi Lovato had the honors.

What Reba McEntire Fans May Not Know About The Star

Although this marked her first time singing it at the Super Bowl, McEntire previously sang the anthem at a World Series baseball game, in Cleveland in 1997.

If you want to see how McEntire handled the anthem going back a quarter-century, here is her reading of the song at a Dallas/Miami NFL game on Nov. 25, 1999:

McEntire may continue to enjoy a high television profile, well after the Super Bowl. NBC has given a pilot order to an untitled multi-camera comedy with the singer as star and executive producer. The pilot, from Universal Studio Group’s Universal TV division, reunites her with the team behind her last two sitcoms, The WB’s “Reba” and ABC’s “Malibu Country.” It will star McEntire as a woman who “inherits her father’s restaurant and is less than thrilled to discover that she has a new business partner in the half-sister she never knew she had.”

Fans believe that Reba McEntire is showing signs of “decline” as her voice raised doubts [VIDEO]

Fans believe that Reba McEntire is showing signs of “decline” as her voice raised doubts in her cover of “Sunday Kind of Love”

As a Coach of The Voice, Reba McEntire has sung countless cover tracks and has delivered her spin on cherished classics — but it wasn’t her first time singing someone else’s song.

Her 1988 reimagining of the jazz tune “Sunday Kind of Love” is also a tour de force of soulful country charm.

Her rendition of the song breathed new life into the jazz standard and, whether you’re a country fan or a jazz aficionado.

McEntire’s spin on the classic tune is goosebumps-inducing.

The Voice Coach’s emotional instinct and silky voice on the track are a testament to her enduring artistry and genre-defying magnetism.

Perfectly paired with a weekend unwind, check out McEntire’s rendition of “Sunday Kind of Love.”

The Voice Coach’s rendition of “Sunday Kind of Love” is a testament to her chameleonic vocals, which infuse the timeless track with a refreshing combination of country warmth and soulful expression. The blend of jazz orchestration and inclusion of traditional country instruments also grounds the track in McEntire’s wheelhouse.

Her rendition of “Sunday Kind of Love” garnered critical acclaim and peaked at No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles, spending 16 weeks on the chart overall. The song was included on her 1988 album, Reba, which also included a reimagining of Aretha Franklin’s “Respect.”

McEntire released a music video alongside her cover of the jazz standard, which she set in the 1940s. The video follows an American family awaiting the return of their father from WWII. As the kids listen to the radio to distract themselves, McEntire performs the song in a 1940s-era Empire Ballroom, where her velvety vocals shine.

“Sunday Kind of Love” was initially composed in 1946 by Barbara Belle, Anita Leonard, Stan Rhodes, and Louis Prima. In 1947, Claude Thornhill and his Orchestra were the first to release the song, and it soon became a jazz hall standard.

Several jazz artists subsequently covered “Sunday Kind of Love,” including Jo Stafford, Ella Fitzgerald, The Four Seasons, and The Harptones.

The 1957 up-tempo cover by The Del-Vikings helped increase the song’s notoriety, but “Sunday Kind of Love” skyrocketed to popularity after Etta James covered it on At Last!, her debut album from 1960.

McEntire threw her cowboy hat in the ring with her 1988 reimagining, and it was a grand slam. McEntire’s fervent twist on “Sunday Kind of Love” is a celebration of country blues that will undoubtedly continue to resonate with listeners for years to come.
